  1. I had to work today so I only go to see parts of the game. Did Speed play? I didn’t see him and he didn’t  record any tackles. With Leonard out, I thought we’d see a lot of speed today.

  2. I thought we would get blown out today. We were going up against a good, physical, experienced team while fielding a very young team.

To my surprise we looked organized and fast. The play calling was very good but we just made too many mistakes to win the game. This team will get better each week they play together. Anything more than 6 wins will be a good season for this team. I’m looking forward to an exciting season watching this young team.

  3. So here’s something to add to your conspiracy theory. Gruden and the Colts struck a deal last January  for him to be the coach next season. ESPN is cutting high salary employees and Gruden sees the writing on the wall but he wanted one more year in the booth. This is why the Colts stuck with this coaching staff this year. Part of the deal was to have a healthy Luck when Gruden takes over. Plus Ballard wants a high draft pick for Gruden.

  4. I’m thinking Vontae was upset with being shopped around during the trade period so he decided he would milk his injury and not play for the Colts. Ballard and Coaches then decided to cut him. Good move. Sets a tone and gives them a chance to watch some younger guys.

  5. So my predictions are normally wrong but this is one of those games where Pagano and his coaching staff seems too find a way to have the team motivated and ready too play.  Remember last year when we signed two QB's off the street and won. The one thing Pagano does well is motivate when the chips are down.

Maybe I'm just hi from the turkey fumes.

  6. Dickerson. I loved his running style. He would get super low to the gound as he went through the hole. Then he would raise his head like a stallion as he shifted into another gear.

Edge would be second. I loved the way he could always gain another 2-4 yards as he went down.

Dicky and McMillian were our best one two punch back in the day. I use to love going to Memorial stadium with my dad to watch those two run.

  7. During the Polian years I would open my closet on Sundays and had to decide on which jersey to wear. Manning, James, Saturday,Clark, Harrison, Wayne, Sanders, Brakett, Bethea, Powers, Garçon.

Now I open the closet door and I have Luck, TY and Allen

My point is look at all the home grown talent we had during the Polian era and under Grigson we only have a few star players we drafted or developed. This is our problem. We have a ton of mediocre veterans signed from other teams and no young talent. This will bite us once Luck signs his next contract.
