That was like... 20 years ago and he sat behind another legend in Brett Favre. He also was a 1st round pick. Eason is literally the only QB with a contract witht the team right now and they've already said he won't be even competing for the starting spot, before they even know who will be on the team.
You sure about that?
BTW....Eason isn't sitting behind Mike Pagel.
It's not like Eason was actually projected to go the fourth round before the draft. He just fell in our lap.

I think if your QB can't get ready for 2 years to step foot on the field then there is something wrong.
Aaron Rodgers sat on the bench for 3 years.

Once the phantom PI was called, I knew the game was decided by the refs.

What would everyone's thoughts be if we converted J. Taylor to wide receiver. There's things to consider, current vision problem which maybe will be corrected with more playing time or not. I mean i hope it improves but there's no way of really knowing. It could possibly be a godsend to the Colts if it worked out. The man is big, tough, plays with a mean streak and is fast. He also can catch the ball. Can he hold onto it is the question. I think he has the intelligence to learn the wide position but don't know if he has the will to. There in lies the problem. Of course, if this worked out it would create a running back opening or not depending on how F. Reich utilized it. It possibly could shore up the receiver position. Can you imagine the possibilities, more speed at the wide position and another player with quickness like Hines and Harris for the trick plays. With Campbell hopefully returning soon, the speed at the wide receiver position would be very formidable. Also, we could resign Mack for next year to shore up the running back position but the Colts have to be assured the injury he sustained hasn't affected his speed and or his cutting ability. Anyway, it was a thought i have been mulling around since i'm on lockdown again. Please don't get me started on that subject! So, have at me and tell me your thoughts but please think about it before you have a knee jerk reaction.

There isn't an "other thread started by danlhart87 gif" available, but if there was, it would be inserted here.

Sounds about right. Rivers is offense captain and Leonard is defense captain...TY is vet captain of WR room (with several younger WRs) and Houston is vet DL captain (another group with a several young players)...and Franklin is ST captain.
This post reminded me of this....

One of the best against the free pass.

I think Eason will look back at college as the best times of his life. Unless, we put together a team so good that his lack of effort does not matter. He will never be great. I think he could become VERY above average if he put all his effort into it. I just don't see him doing that. But, with a great team it might not matter.
Awesome 1st post.
You signed up for that?
