Colts are going to be scary next year with that offense. I do not want to play your team Jules! New WR and they got Andre Johnson. can I just buy a blue and white shirt finally? I could totally bandwagon for this team LOL

    3. Jules

      Jules

Blue and white seems fitting for you......:)

Offensively I do think we might thrive. But I have been calling Luck for MVP for a while.

I mean come on screw defense. Thats like so old school.......

      lmao

    4. Jules

      Jules

Actually yeah, I kinda think our defensive first rounders sometimes suck too. Some REALLY suck.

  2. Musicology Myth of the day - "back in the day people wrote their own songs and no autotune" Not true. Autotune was called 'backing singers' back in the day, and most of your favorite pop songs from the 50's and 60's were indeed covers or written by a studio writer. The studio is a magic factory. Don't hate on it.

    1. The Fish

      The Fish

It's not the same thing. Depending on how technical you want to get we could take this back to the first electric instrument, but the big thing/difference is aesthetics. Auto tune is annoying as get out, back up singers are at least performing a natural part.

    2. Synthetic

      Synthetic

The studio has always used a number of effects that people forget about. Overproduction does exist today, but I get tired of hearing about how super perfect everything was orthodox and absent of effects back in the "good old days". It's much easier to record digitally today than it was 30 years ago with analog.

  3. Rolling Stones reissue of Sticky Fingers - I don't care about the bonus disc. I'm sure they'll re-record the vocals like they did for the 2011 Some Girls deluxe. However, I WILL buy this if it has the zipper on the album like the original LP!

Stompin' music. That picture of him groovin it out in front of that microphone, that is my favorite picture right now. You can tell it was a good time in that studio

  5. Wishing a special 69th HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DR. Mike Murdock. You have brought me so much (unintentional) joy of pure comedy since i first discovered you last year. The jokes write themselves

I thought he was younger. But, then again the Holy Spirit fills him with so much youthful exuberance that attracts us all to his glorious presence.

I bet Tebow getting with the Eagles is part of God's gift to Murdock for his birthday as well.

I wanna feel like it's 1977 all over again & JJ Abrams does something groundbreaking: He gives me a sense of intrigue & wonder again. Plus, anytime I get to see Zoe Saldana on the big screen like is darn good Bogie. :)

The trailer really brightened my mood up that's for sure. Black storm trooper looks like he might be a good guy.

Yeah, I loved The Force Unleashed. Hearing Darth Vader speak in French was simply hysterical! I thought it was just gonna be subtitles but Anakin Skywalker spoke French all the way thru the game. It was so awesome!

I always wanted to hear Vader in German though. Knights Of The Old Republic is pretty sweet too.

I didn't know that was even in the game LOL!

  8. Rolling Stones' Miss You - some days I just cannot get that out of my head. Has one of my favorite bridges in a rock song. Keith Richards playing Country licks, nothing gets better than that

Colts are due to beat the Pats. Just like the Saints are due to beat Washington and St Louis. Last time that happened in one season was 2009, and we won the SB.

That's one of the many reasons I like you Bogie. You clue me into instruments like keyboards that sadly seldom get the praise they deserve...Musicians who are gifted at playing them well I mean.

    4. Synthetic

      Synthetic

I WISH I could play keyboards. I've owned one before, it's a pain when something breaks in it. One of my ex's used to play keyboards for me many years ago when I was doing guitar and bass.

  12. 1 week without the big blank screen called the TV and I'm lovin' it. Only thing it's really useful for anyway is playing video games, but that don't count. I get nothing out of TV without throwball season.

There is a lot of garbage on TV I will admit Bogie so I get what you're driving at, but I'd miss my movies & music documentaries too much. It's all good Bogie. Whatever floats your boat is cool with me man.

Crazycolt: That was awesome you did that! I'm sure they really appreciated that. Unrelated issue: I would love to talk with the heads of these communication/music programs at these colleges. I go to job fairs and there are so many kids that have graduated and interested in on-air jobs in radio and these jobs are diminishing. It makes me sad for these kids. The radio business has changed so much. They need more engineering/IT/sales related jobs in radio.

Dark Passage is a good one, and the Big Sleep. Big Sleep is obviously their best film together, Bogart as a detective, the noir in that is supreme. I didn't really care for To Have, and Have Not. It's OK, a bit overrated. Key Largo is great since Edward G Robinson is playing a villain and he gets a chance to really shine in that film as a sorta reincarnation of his character from Little Ceaser (my favorite of his). Edward G was an awesome mobster on screen.

    4. Synthetic

      Synthetic

If you watch Dark Passage, that's an interesting movie for the first person camera angle in the first hour. There is some interesting parts in that too, which is told from Bogie's perspective in first person, since you're watching the people walk up to him and make eye contact, like the scene where the guy stops him to ask if he knows him from somewhere cause he's dressed nice. Some say, it's a bit disappointing when he comes on camera, cause the first person scenes are th...

Yep that Beck. The Grammys still is crap though...Eminem now has more grammys than any other rap artist in history...against who though? No competition. The only rock group to win an award was Tenacious D. That's the music industry's way of reminding is that rock is truly dead.

Back in the 70's, R & R only had a few classifications of music. You were rock, pop, Classical, R & B, etc. Now there are literally hundreds of classified formats, Rhythmic AC, Hot AC, Pop AC, Adult Hits, etc. I am a huge fan of 70's hits. Great stuff was produced in that decade!
