    Eric Clapton's solo records get too much hate for odd reasons. 461 Ocean Boulevard is not a bad album by any means, I thought it was pretty good.

      Thank you Bogie for posting this status update. You are the best my man! 461 Ocean Boulevard does have timeless gems on it like: Motherless child, I shot the sheriff [a Bob Marley cover], Walking Down The Road, Let it Rain, & Have U Ever Loved A Woman?" I love his Cream era stuff too. The drumming is incredible on those early recording sessions! "White Room" still holds up today as a bedrock percussion classic. :)

      Yes, I too hold David Bowie & Stevie Nicks in high esteem & that will never ever change either.

      Everything about old Cream records was the bomb. Other than Hendrix and the Mothers of Invention, I can't think of a better third band in my psychedelic craze.
