They do that because nobody ever goes back and calls them out for their wrong draft grades.Mostly because NOBODY CARES.

I believe in camp more then 1 player can have the same #

What players are you talking about? They picked so far ahead of us that the only ones were their extra picks in rounds 3 and 6, Watford and Ellington. We wouldn't have grabbed Ellington. So only Watford was 'stolen'. Even tho another OL wasn't taken before hand, someone may have grabbed him anyways.
Only he knows for sure but I just think he was here most of the year evaluating players with Grigson. Griggs said in his conf. they were looking at some of the players as far back as august. So I think he did a copy& paste on his board for the most part.(who wouldn't) I think Okafor,Watford,Taylor,Swope,Ellington and even mathieu were on our board.bruce even said Luck has been talking up Taylor all year.So if you have an ideal who another team likes and where, and your in a position to take that player b-4 they do. Well you just do it.

I think Cunningham will beat out Saunders and Satele or Shipley one will be cut.The rest of the o-line is nowhere near set.IMO

and one more Nigel Malone CB Kansas State
-
another just in Emmet Cleary OL Boston College
-
5 more so far Lanear Simpson, WR, Baylor
Dan Moore, FB, Montana
Matt McManus, K, Temple
Daxton Swanson, CB, SJ State -
The back half of the draft isn't about starters unless your team is woeful. But there's always a player or two who rise to the top after camp and preseason.
-
I give it a C as in wait and see.I do think Bruce stole some of his players off our board. He knew he could get them b-4 we did.
-
Training camp should be SWEET who wants the starting job !
-
Did we lose any pick this year?
no
-
Last year I copied and pasted about 10 diff. mock drafts Exc (luck and Griffin) not one of them got a single pick right.

sorry, didn't see you only have 6 people.stick with your plan

Hey guys Im hosting a draft party this year and would be open to suggestions on making a friendly wager on the draft. I was thinking everyone draws from a hat which teams they get to choose for, and then when their team is on the clock they have to predict the pick before if happens. Most guessed right wins. Good idea or do you have better ones? Thanks!
The problem is it's only round 1 tonight so,you'll have a lot of people with 0 or 1 unless you get minn

The backs weren't the problem last year it was the o-line. i say give it another year and then we'll see.

What agent doesn't tell their client their value is higher then it really is.Other then the top 10 players I'm sure they all hear it.

+2 on St.Elmos and you can't watch practice during the regular season, only select times for training camp and last but not least

Wait, when'd he leave? Only game I remember him not being at was the Ravens game due to the hospital incident. So what do you mean?
He was Peyton's QB coach 1998-2000

he left before and we survived

So how does a team determine which player is better than the next? Certainly you don't propose consulting with Kiper and McShay...
There isn't consensus across the league at ranking players any one position, let alone comparing players at different positions. I strongly suspect teams use a great deal more than just a straight assessment of talent to stack their boards.
Once the boards are organized, though, I do suspect (as Grigs has directly said) that they follow their draft boards. To that degree, we agree that BPA is BPA.
You had me cracking up with Kiper and Mcshay (thanks) I thing most GM"S have the players ranked about the same on their board as far as BPA goes.
-
We had a thread a couple weeks ago, discussing what BPA means. People continue to throw the term around as if we all agree on what it means, yet I think there are some significantly divergent interpretations being used.
For instance: are picking for need and picking BPA mutually exclusive?
I'd argue they are not. But not because a team would say "we need a CB most, so I'm going to grab the best one available with our first pick".
I think need plays in more in reverse, as in "we are definitely set at QB, so unless a special one falls to us in a late round, they aren't even really on our board". Or more subtly, "we are sitting in pretty good shape at RB, but if a talent that we imagine could have a huge impact on the team falls to us at a position of exceptional value, we are prepared to be all over that like flies on..." you get my drift.
Bpa is bpa. and you can't say it any other way. You can't say I'm not taking a qb because we don't need one.if you do and a team picking after you does then you miss out on a chance of them trading up to your spot and picking up another draft pick in the proses. and you can put any position in that argument qb,cb,dt,whatever.bpa is bpa.
