  1. You have a bunch of posters that know zippo about NFL spreads and betting. There is hardly a sliver of a chance that the kid was involved anymore than betting NFL games for peanut money. What a horrible decision he made and it's going to cost him dearly . But all this nonsense regarding the Minn and Houston games is really pure garbage.
  2. So you are speculating that the Ivy League kid playing a whole lot of snaps could have been involved in a gambling ring ? The big bets he made were said to be 2 bets in the low thousands. I'm very doubtful that he made any bets that would arise suspicions that he was trying to throw games. Anything is possible but what you have been saying is HIGHLY SPECULATIVE AND HIGHLY UNLIKELY . I mean it's possible that Anthony Richardson makes the All Pro team and the Colts win the SB. Possible is what you have and highly unlikely is how I describe it. Why don't you just wait until you see all the facts before throwing all this speculative crap out there. I was betting $50 to $100 on NFL games when I was 10 years old. A kid that probably was placing bets with a college bookie got hooked on betting and made the bad judgement to keep betting is MOST likely what we have here. $50 to $100 bets in NO WAY IN THE NAME OF GOD indicative of a gambling scheme to fix NFL games.
  3. The word we had was he bet on some Colt games , including a larger bet on the Houston game. So you really don't if your statement of "so hard to imagine all of his Colts bets occurred during those two weeks he was inactive" is accurate or not. There was nothing released that indicated he bet on a "lot" of Colt games. We also have ZERO indication that ANY games in the NFL were "fixed." This is a guy that made multiple bets , mostly $50 to $100. IMO , there is NOTHING here for a REASONABLE person to start "speculating that "any fix was in. " I'm a betting person that used to be very involved in sports betting and Casino games . I would lay 50-1 that this is not a "syndicate" type thing where NFL games were fixed. I've seen zero speculation that Ridley or the Detroit players were involved at what you're presenting here. This really isn't your "sweet spot" as it's like 90% this kid has a gambling problem or was just silly enough to think he could never get caught . Furthermore he played very well and was playing for millions in his next contract.
  4. I didn't say they wouldn't investigate to the fullest. Also , it's already been stated that he bet on some Colt games. I don't recall that he was inactive much last year , so he probably played in those games. Word was he bet on the Houston game. Thing is , IMO , I think they find it very unlikely he bet AGAINST the Colts. That would be insane and just saying I doubt very much they will find ANYTHING that will result in even a suspicion that he blew plays to accommodate a bet he made.
  5. Yeah he was blowing the game to collect on a $100 bet. If he bet against the colts and it was a sizable bet , then people will look at the film.
  6. If he's betting "ON" the Colts , why would he drop a pick 6 ? Are you trying to say that he might play badly to make the team look bad and thus get more points in the following week's game. The guy was fighting for a staring job and he's going to do that stuff you mention to get a better point spread on the following week's game ? That's crazy and no I don't see the possibility of that happening . If he's betting on the colts , he would never do anything to take points away in a game ? It doesn't make sense and if it doesn't make sense , it's pretty unlikely it's true. Not to insult you , but you don't seem to know about point spreads and how betting really works. No big deal on that but why in the world would a guy betting $50 a game do things career ending things you describe . You could say he was being bribed but that is really a long shot also.
  7. I don't understand your post . If he bet on the Colts , why would he do things on the field other than try to win a ball game. Give me an example of the "myriad of things to sabotage the team for the spread ." How would placing a bet on his team , possibly affect the careers of others ?" I'm not saying this is not a serious offense , I just think you're stating things that don't make total sense. So think it out and let me know how he would do things to "sabotage "the spread if he's betting on the Colts ?
  8. They didn't like Levis much at all.
  9. I think we all know that it means pretty much nothing. It's just a nice read when your teams draft is graded highly.
  10. Here's one that isn't tainted like Kiper's. https://nfltraderumors.co/nfltr-review-ranking-all-32-draft-classes/
  11. Here's one you all might like better than Kiper's sour grapes over his QB going in the 2nd round. https://nfltraderumors.co/nfltr-review-ranking-all-32-draft-classes/
  12. Did he get help on many or most of the passing plays ? I posted earlier that I found it hard to believe that a guy that gave up ZERO sacks for the year was poor in protection and had to be helped on most passing downs.
  13. Usually a team gives help to an OT when he's giving up sacks. He's a 3 year starter and gave up zero sacks his senior year. Doesn't quite add up to a guy that's "terrible " in pass protection. Unless you and or Cosell provide the number of total plays and provide the number of plays he had "help" , yours and his comments really mean very little to me. LOL
  14. Strange that a guy that "was constantly given help" gave up zero sacks on the year.
  15. If you look at Kiper's grades for all the teams , a B was not an "above average grade." He now gives teams the benefit of the doubt in his grading . 28 teams had a B or above . The remaining 4 teams were given a B-.
  16. Probably another 5th rounder. Pretty soon we will have half the 5th round.
  17. The more I think this through , the Colts trade to 3 and select AR. Just makes way more sense to me than taking Levis. That's assuming he doesn't surprise and go before pick 3.
  18. I posted before that if the Colts really like their 3rd choice over their 4th choice , they need to get to 3rd as Tenn will try to jump them. So obviously I agree and think Tenn. more likely than LV.
  19. I think unless they have no preference between Stroud , Richardson or Levis , they need to bite the bullet and trade up to 3rd. Otherwise Tennessee will do just that.
  20. This makes sense as the betting odds now have Levis as a very large favorite to go #2 . Crazy as like 3 days ago we heard that Levis could fall as far as to the Titans.
  21. If you think there's a good chance of that , you should get a bet that you can afford down on the Colts to win the division now. BTW... I'm not hoping we sign Lamar. Two years of injuries and the future contract scares me away.
  22. Sounds like the Pick could be Anderson or someone else that's not a QB. You really do have to pay some attention to that remark considering his past pre- draft remarks.
