We won't have the luxury of the leagues easiest schedule this year though. Are we better...yes..but there is nothing about this team that screams we are locked for the playoffs. Until we are the best team in our division I think people are going to question things.
We have the 3rd easiest schedule next year..
But I agree although we are not locked in the playoffs, we definitely should make it. With our playoff team last year being 1 win in Houston away from winning the division, and then add our 6 STARTERS we got in FA (all upgrades, except maybe Walden over Freeney) plus our 1st round pick (Hunter, maybe?) and Luck having a year experience we should definitely make the playoffs. And I can't wait for the year to start

Great observation. I was wondering the same thing. Lets go:
Castonzo ----- Thomas ----- Shipley ----- Ijalana ----- Cherilus
This would be my favorite. Thomas is going to be starting at LG, and I have heard that McGlynn will start over Reitz. IMO, I don't want either of them starting. I would love to see Ijalana in there at RG. This would be a serviceable O-Line for this year, and it would allow us to get best player available in the draft. Maybe Hunter???

I would love to get Hunter. And then go OG or OLB in round 3. Can you imagine the possession receiver in Wayne, quick slot in TY, our young stud TE's, and then add the stretch the field receiver with a 6'4, 4.40 Hunter?! Luck and Hamilton would be some happy people with that personnel

Don't know Butler yet, but Thomas is reported 4 year/14 million.

In something completely unrelated to his talent/contract here's something we can look forward to! I'm sure you have seen this already, but incase you haven't...
Pretty funny. Big guy with big personality. Can't wait for him to help BUILD THE MONSTER!!!!

I think we use our 1st rounder on a pass rushing OLB, our 3rd rounder on a tall, savvy receiver, and our 4th on a big and strong LG. the other 2 picks will be kicker and another DE to add some depth.
I'd be ok with that. Or switch those 2 and I wouldn't mind getting a WR like Hunter in the first, and then OLB/OG with the 3rd rd. Love the fact that we can take best player available now

I'm good with every single one of these picks. I think we need to go WR in first, and Hunter would be a great addition. We would have Wayne, who is route running/possession specialist, Hilton who is our perfect slot guy, and if we could stretch the field with a 6'4 4.40 Hunter on the outside plus our 2 versatile TE's we would have a ridiculous offense. (Plus that Luck guy.. I heard he's supposed to be good or something?)
Then I also think OLB/OG is our second biggest need
