  1. Have you ever had a players only meeting? If all of the issues you stated were fixed by a "players only meeting", they would be mandatory........like practice. How do you know there is a "rift" between the head coach & GM? Because the same people that told you we were going to the Super Bowl this year are required to give a reason they "look" so wrong. Listen, the NFL is worth billions. And just like WWE, they have figured out that its quite rewarding to the bottom line to keep each teams fanbase (aka market) engrossed in the team either positively or negatively.

Just play your very limited role, and be a fan. That's suppose to be through the good and bad but I understand things are a bit different these days.
  2. "But, I think it's not productive to shame and blame fans"

Not sure how giving my opinion about some of the negative things i've read here, based on my perspective on our teams 0-2 start falls into a "shame and blame" category. A wiser man than me once told me, "If you change your perspective, you will change your reality. But i'll try to be less critical of negativity i guess next time.

  3. Anyone that believes that going to a Super Bowl is necessary for job security doesn't understand how football works. We, the Colts, are an organization dealing with the stuff that Champions are made out of..........adversity. While its interesting to read how fans deal with adversity, (fire everybody), the future of our team will be determined by how the men that are in charge, handle being in charge moving forward.......together. The front office got into this position together, so why is anyone more responsible then anyone else.

Regardless of why, I see us at 0-2 because we simply have played some terrible football. Period. Throughout the history of he NFL, terrible football equals losses. And, both games we were still in it, until football karma caught up with us, which is the Offense not helping the Defense by being productive. Period. As a fan, I understand believing the hype the media put on us. I think that bandwagon hype is why many of you are here anyway, that's why so many people react so..........outrageously. But we are not even the biggest winless team, the real Super Bowl favorite Seahawks are also. You don't hear them falling apart. Its easy to be a fan of a winner, but newsflash, winning isnt guaranteed to anyone.......ask Seattle.

  4. Again I ask, where is this guy & what is his role in this? Forgive me if I'm behind & this guy has been gone, but I haven't heard his name all year. Isnt he like the assistant to the head coach? If they hired him for that, wouldn't he be next in line. From my unbelievably outside perspective, doesn't it seem like a "too many chiefs, not enough Indians situation"? Is A Luck this years version of C Kapernick? Are we this years version of San Francisco? Because no one won in that situation.

  5. So would you rather be unlucky over bad. I'd rather be bad over unlucky, and good over lucky. Football is not designed for luck. No team plans for tipped INT's, fumbles or penalties. That's just what happens to bad teams not fundamentally sound and ready to play. I know one thing, the world is seeing just how many wins A Luck has brought this franchise. Without him, we are worse then bad. I wish he was signed. Could you blame him if he didnt want to stay for Peyton 2.0.

  6. Why does everything we do get so much negative attention? I don't care what M Ball did or will do, he will not be asked to win any game by himself. Its like buying a broom and complaining about the dust pan. The broom does the heavy lifting, the dust pan just assists. If how we were beaten last week, happens this week in primetime, we won't be talking about what M Ball did.

  7. "I don't think Irsay has said it publicly but I think in a way, Pagano is on the Hot seat."

Let me let you in on a secret, coaching is a hot seat. No coach just gets a pass for losing. Ever look up what C Pagano's record is outside of the worse division in football, & without the games B Ariens won him? His seat would have melted already imo. Question, so what's that Chudinski guy from CLE do?

  8. Broken. Regardless of what happens, changes have to be made. I stay grounded in reality, it kept me from being angry watching my team lead to slaughter like that. Rex Ryan used us to launch the career of T Taylor, knowing fully aware of not only what, but how to expose us in every faucet of the gameplan. Which is clearly our kryptonite. NE knows it, PIT knows it, heck, ARI & DAL know it. All those teams share something in common. Coaching that understands the real difference between Brady & Peyton is the help they were given by the front office.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over & expecting different results. So how many A Luck rings will management waste? One ring.........three? Oh yeah, let us not forget, A Luck hasn't decided to be our franchise QB yet. Can you imagine what kind of deal an owner like J Jones would put together for Luck. Anyway, i digress, just feel really let down today.

  9. Because that is relevant....

So, you don't make any response to the OP, but you respond to me. Is that trolling? Anyway, its about as relevant as predicting the future. I'm not at his workouts or at his home. I don't have access to R Mathis at all. So I offered some info "relevent" to the question. But please forgive me, next time I promise i won't joke around again. I'd hate for you to put your so serious face on again.

  10. A receiver that size should dominate physically.

If that's all you need then i think every team would have 2. There are a few players every year released to the PS. He was at a very deep position, so developing him in one preseason wasn't necessary. We kicked the tires to make sure our investment was solid, but he's where he should be right now. I can't blame the rich kid he's not ready to get big & take someone's job yet. Due time.

  11. I give this attempt at getting ppl to talk about what you wanna talk about a low C high D. Its old news now and i'm happy with the QB we selected. RGIII went to Washington, even M Shannahan left there tarnished, and he was considered coaching royalty.

RGIII had success in the league before 2 torn ligaments, then his personality and the weight that was given up for him clashed horribly. Anybody remember Ricky Williams and Mike Ditka?  Anyway, piling on RGIII right now is as classless as tooting an "i told you so" horn 3 successful A Luck years later.

  12. Football is really about packages. Yes, there will be packages with Dorsett at the 3, or Moncrief, or Fleenor, or anyone. The 3rd WR spot is just like a Nickleback, who is out there is contingent on what we are trying to do. There will not be the same 3rd WR out there for every situation. Dorsett will be out there, when depends on matchup. This game is chess, not checkers.

Also, Moncrief is a "better" WR then Dorsett right now, but Dorsett needs more reps. I believe Dorsett & Moncrief will be used in some speed packages with T.Y. But Moncrief also has size & speed to play in big sets with Andre Coby & D Carter.
