  1. well with jimmy tweeting his mouth away, he gets closer and closer to resembling his dad tiger bob. he needs to shut up and practice the quitar more......
  2. ^^^^^^, man, you should be sharing whatever you're smoking. right now this Ol is about as good as the bears line. castonzo if healthy is the only decent guy we have, all other positions will be filled by throwing darts while blindfolded. luck will be lucky to survive past 8 games, running, or running for his life.....
  3. giving old geysers like freeney that kind of money is one of the reasons the polians are no longer doing contracts. NO contract should ever go beyond three years and be incentive (not i used to be a young stud) heavy. pay for performance, not past history. and why in the heck we did the same with wayne is beyond me. last time i checked, it was still a young man's game.......
  4. great, another midget, too short and too light. oh heck, what does it matter? we don't run the ball anyway......
  5. any OL who's around 6'5" and about 330lbs. must be able to block as in grade the road. and maybe a NT who's over 300lb. will the Colts EVER build physical and dominant front lines?......other than looking on craig's list and/or walmart castoff's?
  6. given our past history with a finesse driven, zone blocking, and stretch play running game, it would'nt matter if we had adrian petersen back there. we have a brand new, untested OL. we have a new off coord who has a pass happy history himself. we are not a physical, smash-mouth team, especially up front. and you don't get that way wishing for things to change......
  7. i think he would do well parking cars or selling hot dogs. never could shut his big ****ing mouth.......
  8. pretty well written and thought out post. there will be some skinned knees after we take the training wheels off. let's be positive to a point and give our guys the chance. my take is still with the offense, and how well we can run the ball. if we think luck can win chucking it 40 times a game, um, no he won't. the d is almost always ahead of the o, especially early in the season. so we need to control the line of scrimmage as well as the clock, move the chains, or the d will run out of gas before the half. no more finesse crap. line 'em up and pound the rock.
  9. if manusky proves to be the problem the root cause of that lies with pagano. he's the one (at least available) who wanted him, and remember, staff picks are HIGHLY prioritized on whether or not the hc feels the chemistry of staff pic will fit. the defense will still be paganos baby. and btw, our defense WAS NOT our biggest problem last year, it was the offense who losses one guy and the whole thing tanks offensively......no defense can be on the field 75% of the time and be expected to win.
  10. heck, none of us know, and the injury factor will always show something. i'll still go with: LT castonzo, the most athletic and best feet LG mcglynn, coming out of pitt who always produce great linemen C shipley, great leverage and strength RG olsen, an interior mauler, iowa guys always tough RT justice, great size, wingspan, usc product who was let go due to cap problems
  11. ........i totally agree here. you rebuild with youth and speed, and his best days are behind him. i think the only reason he's here is because no one was willing to pick up the tab......
  12. .........i like this combo as well, but ijalana's injury scares me, and basically stiil a rookie. hicks is a monster that should really push the pile. but i'm surprised so many think shipley is a dud. penn state interior linemen are usually always good, and in talking with my psu buddies, they all loved his smarts and tenacity at center.....
  13. the only way luck will survive and thrive this year depends, in part, if he can stay upright. and with any rookie qb, any, you have to have a strong running game to take some of the pressure off him. we have'nt exactly been known to scare teams off the line of scrimmage, let alone run the ball. i think pagano and arian's want to change that, but with basically a brand new line, who will emerge as the starters, if healthy? how about, left to right, my picks?........castonzo, mcglynn, a.q. shipley, olsen, justice. OL coach harold goodwin has got his hands full. we need to be much more physical u
  14. ......agree with that. pouring new oil into an old motor like freeney won't help. good lord, grigson hopes to land a decent cb thru the dart board?......
  15. so interesting that we have no focus on running the football and trying to help luck out. you don't dominate up front with a zone blocking scheme and finesse players......
