I have been a Colt fan since 1973. The drafting of Bert Jones is what drew my attention to Baltimore.

My mom and dad were die hard Bear fans. My dad was an acquaintance of Dick Butkus through his work and honestly the Bears were the only team we could see on TV on a regular bases.

At my age Bert Jones was my favorite player and still to this day believe he was one of the best. Some injuries show no mercy.

When the Colts moved to Indy I was ecstatic. I live about 5 miles from Lucas Oil Stadium so seeing where the Colts play just about every day is pretty cool.

  1. The players seem to be more interested in getting the most money and starting their own so called brands. Being celebrities through social media has just about taken over most of the players.
  2. I'm not so sure that BB will ever coach or be a GM again. The league wide shift has gone younger in head coaches and GMs. Teams that have younger head coaches tend to draw the best free agents too. NFL has evolved into more entertainment than old school football.
  3. I wouldn't be mad if Ballard traded up to pick Bowers. He is a game breaker TE. With Woods still being an unknown it would be a smart move imo. Just imagine having both Bowers and Woods on the field at the same time? Mercy lol
  4. Luck has said he no longer had the passion it takes to play football. Without the love of the game he wouldn't be the QB we knew him to be. He was one of the most exciting player I have ever seen. When he retired I was so disappointed. It's easy to dwell on the negatives he put on the team but if he lost the heart to play I wouldn't want him to be the Colts QB. It has taken me a few years to not be bitter over the timing of his retirement. I understand his decision but as a Colts fan it's still depressing.
  5. The only thing I have realized is it's almost impossible to figure out what Ballard will do. 😷
  6. I would like to see Ballard draft TE Brock Powers. With the verdict still out on Woods it's a no brainer imo
  7. I like Pat McAfee alot because of his personality. He pretty much covers all sports and works very hard at his job. I don't gamble so I watch his show just for the laughs.
  8. She is not built masculine like a lot of WNBA players are. She will be good for the sport and the Fever
  9. What made Andrew fun to watch is what ultimately took him out of the game.
  10. I have been very sick and in and out of the hospital 4 times over the last few months. Hopefully I can improve enough to be more involved in the future.
  11. I would think 2nd or 3d QB off the board. Of course it's hard to guess because of him not playing in college last year
  12. There seems to be a couple of players I would like Ballard to take a hard look at. Bayron Matos and George Smith are the ones I have in mind. Anyone have any thoughts on the international players?
  13. Dude? Wentz was traded by the Commanders, not the Eagles. You are so busy making arguments you can't even keep your teams straight.
  14. Steichen hasn't even won one game as a head coach and you have him already running the Colts. You need a reality check.
