The team is far more dynamic with T.Y. out there is what I am trying to say, the offense always has room for improvement and his talent is wasted if hes not on the field.

This guy gets nothing but hated on usually, but I thought he played a heck of a game today.He made some huge plays containing Wilson, and set the edge really well today. Best game he has had to me, though it wasn't an earth shattering performance he deserves some credit for today considering the reaction he normally gets.
What do you guys think?

Wouldn't call them a bust. That is a legit team/defense we just went up against. Arguably the best team in the NFC. We just made more plays in the end. Fantastic game. Fantastic win. Fantastic futures for these two teams.
Seriously, Russell Wilson looked like Speedy Gonzalez running away from Sylvester the cat out there at times.
Exactly my thoughts, that team gave us 1 heck of a game. Most of the damage was on the nickel guy and the 72 yard bomb was on the safetey. That is a real good football team we beat today, we should be proud we beat them and not talking them down. Beating elite teams is how you become elite, and I think we are just about there! Just need to stiffen that run D and we are set

Let me start by saying I have no problem trying to power run, even if I don't believe this O-line is capable of doing it consistently. I support fully focusing on the run game and trying to build it up.
My problem is T.Y. Hilton is such a game breaking talent when he touches the ball, that it makes no sense to put him on the sidelines. They need to do whatever they can to increase the plays he is on the field for, whether that means keeping DHB on the sidelines in 2 WR sets or running from 3 WR sets. He has to be on the field, because defenses will have to account for him at all times.
The use of Hilton is my biggest issue with Pep's play calling. And i hope they make some adjustments soon.

Of all the great moments of that game today that tackle of Wilson on 3rd down was the key play of the game imo. If he doesnt make that tackle, I'm not sure how the game ends. That was elite pursuit and tackling.

Was a clutch kick, I'd be lying if I didn't say I thought it was a terrible decision to attempt it there and risk giving that field position given AV's recent 45+ kicking. Glad we got the win and he made the kick, I probably woulda punted though. But glad to see him come through in the clutch, can only help his confidence!

Dan Uggla appreciates the gesture, but as you can see, Arencibia is a mere boy among men when compared to Uggla =) Also, BJ Upton is at .184 but he doesn't have enough AB to qualify due to his DL stint.. Amazing.. the 2 highest paid players on the team.. and Upton has the richest contract in Braves history
Lol he sure is bad, but look at that .309 OBP and look at JP. I think you don't want either of them on your team!

I agree.. but I just wonder if we ultimately play T-Rich much more because of the first round.. kinda like the Braves refusing to bench Uggla and BJ Upton because of their huge contracts even though they are the 2 worst hitters in baseball.. I don't think our staff is that egotistical though..

Guess you haven't seen J.P Arencibia's stats this year, he my friend is the worst hitter in baseball.
Bradshaw should split the carries, or go with the hot hand. Bradshaw will eventually get hurt I think, I don't want him too but he has a history, at that point TRich will take the ball and run with it!

3INT in 1 game wow he shouldn't even be in the NFL. The best QB's in the league like Brees, Ryan, Rodgers,Manning and Brady have probably never had that kind of game.
On a realistic note I'll take a huge comeback win and 8-4 every day of the week, I dont care how many INT's he throws, not 1 win was he not the biggest reason we won. You guys need to lighten up and enjoy winning.

I'd like to second that opinion, for me a #2 was stretching it. Good riddance imo, let him drop balls in Washington.In no way, shape or form is Pierre Garcon a #1 wideout.

Okay, after watching that video.... wow. Kid has good hands and absoloutley blinding speed. Will be a great addition in the slot but more importantly as PR ( if our D can get some forced punts lol). Love the pick.

That is a highly unlikely situation considering his history. We don't need players like that on this team. The best part of the Polian era for me was the character of the players. No thanks on being the Raiders and Bengals.So if Jenkins never has anymore issues and becomes the corner everyone said he could be what then?

How can you say we reached here? Kid has first round talent, also why would he have to be better than Clark or it's considered a reach? Clark was a 1st round pick... Fleener is a 2nd.At 6-6 250 and can run like a WR, I would HOPE he turns out better than Clark. Or else we just reached for this pick.

I would have cheered for the 49ers had he gone there, but I just never liked the Broncos and am honestly upset he went there lol.

Reggie will go to Miami no doubt in my mind, he would love to finish out his career there I'm betting. Hate to see him go, but no matter what happens with PM Reggie is the odd man out I think.

But if PM is healthy I trade it for as much as i can get. One move that I keep thinking of is Jake Long and the Phins 1st and 2nd pick.

I Don't see us running a 3-4 defence this year, maybe the odd look as a wrinkle. But I'm sure we will see a 4-3 base still, just minus the cover 2 (thank god). Freeney can fit into any scheme, and yeah he is a nice piece for a defence but in no way worth the cap hit he comes with. Last year of the contract so you cant "rework" it, so its either eat the 19mil cap hit or release him. And I would argue the notion of most of this board about him being our best player on D, to me that is Bethea, he had some great years here but the writing is on the wall, this team needs cap room so there are 19m reasons he should be cut.

Forget what kind of defense will be used and look at Freeney's low production and how his salary jumps next year.
Exactly, he makes way too much money for what he is, a 2nd and 3rd down pass rush specialist. I mean we may as well just have 1 less player on the field on running plays since he spins 6 yards deep every play. For him the biggest problem is the 3 other teams in our division are running teams.

I don't understand the whole "you have to be an emotional maniac on the sidelines" thing. What do you guys want Rex Ryan or maybe his fatter loud mouth brother Rob? I can't say I know a lot about Tressel or that I want him to be HC, but his sideline demeanor is the least of my worries. i'll take an 85% winning record anyday, my only concern with him is the lack of NFL experience. College is a whole different game.

All I mean is that he always leans toward the african american side of the equation. I think my statement regarding Vick speaks for what I meant(would he have tried to rehabilitate say a Matt Ryan).Or the promotion of JC when he retired. JC was extremely unqualified to be a HC in the NFL, I mean the man had no NFL HC experience and was like 26-63 at Wake forest. I have no problem with anyone being pro their race, I think that is just natural. But when unqualified people ascend even partly cause of racial favortism which judging by the resume appears to be the case, to me is not right. Its just my opinion, maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm notWhat do you mean by this? I don't want to assume anything, so I figured it best to ask for clarification.

Sometimes you have to overpay in free agency, that's part of the game. All that matters to me is if hes doing his job on the field and today he did his part IMO.
His paycheck is irrelevant to me, if Grigs thinks it was a good deal I am on board.
