If it was anything like the AFC Champ game 7 years ago, then I'm thinking...
"...and Brown fumbles the friggin' football...wait...ANDREW LUCK RECOVERS AND DIVES INTO THE ENDZONE FOR A TOUCHDOWNNNNN!!!...JIMINY CHRISTMAS...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!..."
Not quite as jarring a shift, his call of this fumble was a bit more neutral than the play you're referring to, which started out at abject disappointment.

My God... this thread is almost on its third page...

It's important to remember there is no such thing as the police in ireland, but something called an garda %einthecorner.
Presumably I shouldn't take the Jenny Lauren route and ask them to repeat what they said in English?
-
ESPN first take pulled their quote straight out their collective *.
Well, you have to admire them for sticking to the formula.
-
It's more like "ah jaysus, cop on trying to arrest me now, bud. I'll fight ya for your shoelaces, ya filthy geebag."
Hang on, I gotta write that down in my travel book.
I'd hate to commit a faux pas when being arrested in another country.

I'm frankly astonished that so many people can't seem to tell the difference between comparing an attribute of Michael Jordan with an attribute of Andrew Luck, and comparing Michael Jordan's career success with Andrew Luck's career success.
-
If you think he is an alcoholic, you should come to ireland!
"You can't arrest me, I'm Rovers player!"
So like that basically?
-
As long as we get to mug their receivers, I'm good.

Err, while it's not like his defenses did great in those games, to be fair, his teams threw a combined 8 interceptions in those games. Plus 3 fumbles lost.
-
This isn't so much a negative for Peyton, but the distinction that stood out to me was that during the last defensive series Andrew was watching and cheering, while in the 2007 AFCCG during the last defensive series Peyton was sitting on the bench with his head down unable to watch. Not that I blame Peyton for that, but it was a pretty striking difference.

I looked. It's a bit like gazing into the abyss.

Solid bump.

Well, I've got a new lucky t-shirt that my brother gave me for Christmas a couple days ago. It's grey with the throwback logo on it.

If there's been a greater game in NFL playoff history, it's not coming to me right now.
-
I'm glad I didn't shut this game off.

Titans fans seem happy.
Which frankly I find mystifying. He's a good coach, did well this year with the cards he was dealt.

I think the red helmet and white jersey will be just fine lol
Yeah, but everyone else on that side of the field will be wearing the same thing.
Maybe we can get Jerrell Freeman to dunk his hands in a can of white paint or something.

@randycovitz: #Chiefs OT Eric Fisher (groin) at practice but not doing much.
That's nothing new, he hasn't really done much of anything the whole season.
-
Now all we need to do is get Jamaal Charles to put on a red and white horizontal striped shirt!

Off the top of my head, Larry Warford.
I understand that that we have been lacking good CBs for awhile, that even Davis looks good. If he is as good as some think, then give him a 1 year deal with incentives and see ho well he does. If he does well, then sign him to a longer deal
Why are you unhappy with Davis? He's played well. He had the 2nd best coverage rating among CBs this season according to PFF.
-
Disagree on vontae not playing up to the second round pick we gave for him. Who in the second round of the draft ( at or behind our pick) has done better?
Perhaps more to the point, the Dolphins took a CB with the pick they got from us for Vontae Davis, and that guy has played in nine games, and averages 1/3 of a tackle per game.

Honestly, with Thomas and Thornton as the starters, I feel like we have decent options for depth at guard in Reitz, Link, Nixon, depending on who we decide to keep around. Even McGlynn is an OK depth option because he can be decent backup center too. If Thomas can get healthy, I feel like if we went after Alex Mack in FA to replace Satele, we'd pretty immediately have a very, very good O-line.
Not sure what that would cost, but we wouldn't have to make a lot of other moves for the O-Line, and it would be a significant upgrade to the unit as a whole. I feel like we could get away with that as pretty much the only FA move on offense. Maybe WR depth, but, otherwise we're fine, we've got 2 very good TEs, a fairly promising young WR corps with Wayne likely returning, Ballard coming back to compliment T-Rich and the possibility of re-signing Brown (probably not TOO expensive, we'll see though). And then either Harnish will make the roster as the backup QB or we'll find someone cheap. There's not a ton that needs to be done on offense.
Defense has a lot more areas of concern, but some are more pressing than others. It'd be nice to look for replacements for Bethea, Mathis, and Redding, but that's not a real immediate need and we can relegate that kind of thing to the draft. The greater concern at the moment is trying to shake out the ILBs and decide who we want on the roster next season. Freeman, obviously, and then who else?
Comparing Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck to former quarterback Tim Tebow?

Well, I suppose he could have compared Luck to Rex Grossman.
