I get the shellshock, but asking a massive young QB to not do what it is that makes him "special" is a glaring mistake. If you wanted a less athletic AR, you'd have taken Levis.
I definitely agree and think this whole narrative of having him change his play is fan talk and not reality. There's no 'safe playing' in the NFL.
He's either going to get hurt or not.
Let him be AR. If he keeps getting hurt, you move on and draft another guy and dream about what could've been.

I think everyone is sick right now. I'm fighting the 'vid' right now and know at least a handful of people who are sick right now with the cold/flu/vid...

Hopefully it's contract talk stuff but that would suck if he walked because we've got nothing on the receiver front after him.
No disrespect to Pierce and Downs but eeesh.
We need to add onto Pittman and those guys, not lose the best guy we've got.

The reality is that a backup QB threw a bad pass to a running back with only 6 catches on the year.
If you wanna blame anyone for goodson being in the game it should be Ballard. If you wanna blame someone for minshew inaccurate pass you blame minshew.
But to blame our coach of the year candidate for calling a pass to a wide open running back is mind boggling.
What coach would you rather have? This is silly. We over achieved and came up short one play. Welcome to football.

It's definitely fair to say his seat is going to be hot this coming season.
It's looking like Jax and Hou have passed us and if Levis turns out to be legit we could be bottom dwellers in the division.
I think he'll spend more than usual because of this.

Jax is leading the division in general terms and Hou seems to have their guy in CJ.
