Jimmy Johnson looked upset during halftime report. He was yelling so much that I turned off the TV for a few minutes.
I have the Packers defense in my fantasy lineup. I took a chance and it paid off. Had no idea what to expect from the defense, but not this.

The media has lost even more credibility recently. I saw several headlines (didn't read the articles) about how Taylor Swift braved frigid temperatures to attend the KC game. I'm sure she was freezing in her heated suite, and the walk from her limo to the stadium must have been rough. 🙄
Do they actually think people buy this nonsense? Maybe some actually think she's so brave. It's because of these articles that I couldn't care less about Swift.
Vent over. Just had to post on the stupidity of the media.

Remember, C.J. Stroud lost to Bryce Young and the Panthers earlier in the season. He will have good games and bad. Yesterday was impressive, and he made a case for OROY. I think Stroud can do well in the Divisional round but the game could be closer. Not every one will be a shootout.

If the Cowboys win, we'll be hearing about them all week. Even if they lose, we'll probably hear about how they choke in the playoffs. Expect to see camera shots of Jerry Jones at the game.
Sam LaPorta is questionable, but there is a chance he will play. The Lions have other weapons, but having him on the field would be an extra help. I don't think Matthew Stafford is out for revenge. He doesn't seem that type, he just wants to play well for his team.

I don't get Peacock, so won't have to watch the many photos of Taylor Swift. That's a plus.
Karma could have gotten the Browns because of the Colts game, (which the refs let the Browns win), but also for signing Deshaun Watson. Serves them right . Although I still like Flacco.

Does anyone want to see the Texans go all the way? I'm impressed with Stroud and the whole team. I wouldn't mind to see them go to the Super Bowl, even though they won week 18. If necessary, could they match the Ravens? i think they can.

I like Detroit, but I wagered a small amount on the Rams. I get a higher payout with the Rams winning and I also have a feeling they will take it. If I'm wrong, it doesn't matter as I always bet an amount I can afford to lose.
I hope Stroud does well in his playoff debut. I'm not a fan of Cleveland but I like to see Flacco playing well. I'm expecting it to be a good game.
I think Westwood One radio broadcasts the Dolphins-Chiefs game. I can listen to it through my laptop.

I wouldn't want to lose Pittman, but he has a right to explore other options. Hopefully, the Colts will make an offer he can't resist. Such is the NFL; players always on the move.

An Eagles fan I know is quite disgusted with the team. He doesn't think that they should have used starters in week 18 since they were already locked in. Now A.J. Brown is injured, Hurts is banged up and the Eagles are limping into the post season. They haven't been right for several weeks.
OTOH, I have to give credit to Arizona. They were eliminated early, yet they're playing for pride, giving playoff teams problems. They're leading Seattle today.

My expectation was having a 500 or winning season. I didn't expect them to enter the playoffs.

There was talk of C.J. Stroud being OROY so almost every analyst is all in on the Texans. It makes for good headlines. None of them are experts, so it doesn't really matter what they think.

Most analysts and sportsbooks are favoring the Texans. That should give the Colts extra incentive. As far as C.J. Stroud calling the Colts weak, it doesn't bother me. If this helps him get ready for the game, it's no big deal. A lot of players talk like that to gain confidence.

According to Vrabel, the Titans are not laying down. They will play tough and hope to be spoilers for the Jags. This could be good news for the Colts (provided the Colts win) as the Titans might succeed doing that. The team could be hot or cold, no idea which side of the Titans will show up.

I never understood the hate over Carson Wentz. He has the talent, but happened to be messed up by some coaches or attitudes by certain teams. The Rams are a good team for him, and McVay has the means to help Wentz succeed as backup.

The Philadelphia media has always been rough on the Eagles. If the team has a winning record, the media points out the problems instead of the positive. Wanting the coaches and staff fired is nothing new. The Eagles could win the Super Bowl and some of the media and fans would still complain that the team didn't do enough.

I don't have ESPN, so am glad that the game is on ABC also. Scenario is simple: win they're in, lose and go home. It doesn't matter what other AFC teams do, as long as the Colts win. The only difference would be seeding.

Other than the Ravens I think that the team with the best momentum going into the playoffs is the Browns. Not counting the Colts because they aren't officially in. The Browns are on a roll.
In the NFC I would say the 49ers have the momentum.

I watched the Steelers-Seahawks game because I didn't want to see the many views of Taylor Swift and KC commercials, even if them winning did help the Colts. I can do without TS and Kelce in 2024.

Did anyone guess that Arizona would win? I didn't expect this. The Eagles need to figure out things if they want to get anywhere in the playoffs.
I wonder if Baltimore will do be as dominant during the playoffs. They might rest some players next week since they have locked up the division and #1 seed.

I wanted the Lions to win, but they messed up. I can't blame the refs on this. Also coaching problems: Dan Campbell trying to be too aggressive and not settling for easy points backfired. Should have taken the field goal in the first half instead of going for it.

Leonard isn't the first player to criticize his former team and he won't be the last. He thinks that the Colts gave up on him when he still had something to prove. Maybe the Colts were too quick in letting him go, maybe not. I hope that he finds success with the Eagles or elsewhere.

A couple games this weekend show that NFL analysts don't know everything. I refuse to call them "experts." I won't pay attention to them anymore, as they are often wrong. The hosts on podcast Fantasy Headliners claim that there is no such thing as football or fantasy expert.
