The Steelers D is bad and Ben is missing the main guys who have killed us, namely Wheaton, Bryant, W

illiams. Heck I dont even think DHB is playing and I'm not afraid of Sammie Coates. They've had problems all year getting production out of anyone other than Antonio Brown. Maybe we will do better than people are thinking.

You make some good points, and I really hope that the Colts surprise everyone. However, Le'Veon Bell is a huge concern as he can play both running back and receiver. Last week he got close to 200 yards rushing and receiving. A lot depends on how well Big Ben does.

    That's too bad.

Are they rid of Cutler after this year?

One of my co-worker,s who is a Bears fan, said that Cutler is gone after the season. I don't know where he would end up.

  3. I got first place in a five player league thanks to Ezekiel Elliott. He got me 39 points, the most I've ever gotten from one player. it was a free game, so no cash value, just bragging rights.

On another league, I wasn't sure at first about DeMarco Murray against GB, but it worked out. Murray ran wild on the Packers. That helped me get a small amount in a dollar tournament. Should have also used Elliot in that one, but oh well.

On the other hand, Brady had an off game. I expected more out of him since he is expensive; should have gone with Newton or Roethlisberger instead. Had a good week overall, though.

  4. We can take the Titans; it's the Pittsburgh game I'm concerned about. Antonio Brown will get the yards; he always does even when the Steelers play badly. It's keeping them out of the end zone that will be the test. If we can limit them to just field goals, it might work, but will be  a challenge limiting Bell. That guy can work as a wide receiver as well as running back.

Pittsburgh's defense isn't good, so Luck has a chance to get plenty of points. Heinz field is a difficult place to score field goals, but I have confidence in Vinatieri. However, if the Steelers wear their throwback uniforms, it's a bad sign.

  5. Prescott would be a good choice, but he's more likely to win "Offensive rookie of the year." There could be a case for Ezekiel Elliott, also.

As far as Brady winning, the suspension should count against him, and the Patriots would still be winning without him.

  6. The NFL must hate fantasy football. I mentioned I don't trust Jimmy Graham, so he gets over 100 yards in MNF. Whenever I've had him in what should be  a favorable matchup, he does nothing. Then there are players who are questionable, and since the lineup sets at a certain time in ppr, you don't know whether to chance them or change the roster. I did get 5th place in a 20 player league, so that's not too bad, considering.

Then one week Denver defense gives me 22 points, and this week the same defense gives me 1 point against the Raiders. Devante Booker was suppose to be breakout player against Oakland's bad rush defense, and he only gave me 3.5 points in ppr. So it goes.

No; it IS over; it ended when Colts couldn't beat the Jags....  good thing we don't play the Browns this year!  :hide:

The Browns would at least win one game if we played them.

  8. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott helped me gain in the top 50% of a 100 player league, so I won a small amount of money. I was near the bottom before Sunday night.  Denver's defense also scored 22 points for me.

Julio Jones seems to do well the times I don't have him in the lineup; when I do have him, he scores very few points. I'm never sure whether to play him or not. I won't next week because I avoid Thursday night games in daily. I don't like my lineups to lock that far ahead.

I am PERMANENTLY BENCHING allen robinson,  and PERMANENTLY PLAYING mike Wallace.

    Allen robinson is absolute trash!

I bench latavius murray cause of his garbage play. And he puts up 22 in ppr.

I can't win at all.  I play good people they do trash, I bench players when they've been garbage and then they do great.

Jacksonville has been disappointing this season. I had Bortles and Robinson in leagues last season and did well with them, but not  this year.

L Murray hasn't done much at all, so it figures that the game he's benched is when he puts up all those points.  It seems that the NFL doesn't cooperate with fantasy football.

Then injuries happen, and that changes everything. I've lost more in ppr leagues than won, but still continue playing. I just keep trying, thinking each week is another chance.

Mariota vs IND or Carr at Jax? I am leaning towards Mariota but one thing the Colts have been good at lately is forcing teams into FGs, so not sure if that will work against Mariota.

In another league, Alex Smith vs NO or Carr at Jax?

    Thoughts??

Mariota is a good option. The Colts have been forcing FGs, but also are bad against the run, and Mariota is a running QB.

Smith or Carr is tough, but since KC is at home, I'd go with Smith. As a rule, west coast teams struggle more when they head east.

    Need to start one of:

    Jacquizz Rodgers @SF
    Julian Edelman @PIT

    Cameron Meredith @GB

    Any ideas?

I don't know much about Jacquizz Rodgers. Pittsburgh is without Big Ben, so Edelman could be good. It depends on who Brady targets most, though. I'm never sure who Brady is throwing to.

I would go with Meredith @ GB. He should get a lot of work and GB hasn't looked right lately.
