  1. 2013 NFL Scouting: Week Four's Top Match-ups to Watch and More

With both of these young teams off to a strong start to the 2013 season, this may end up being the game to watch this weekend when the Colts and Seahawks face off. While Russel Wilson and the Seattle offense will need to have a good showing, there's little doubt that there's far more pressure on Andrew Luck and the Colts offense in this one as they face one of the toughest defenses in the NFL.

Seattle has the fourth ranked pass defense in the league, and that all starts with Richard Sherman. Even though he struggled at times with Andre Johnson last season, he still proved it's not a good idea to throw his way too often has his pick six turned the game around against the Texans. Luck would be wise to focus on getting passes to TY Hilton and Darius Heyward-Bay, which still won't be an easy task against Brandon Browner.

The biggest key for Luck will be playing well under pressure. His offensive line hasn't given him much time to work with thus far in the season, and he's not responded particularly well. His throws while under duress haven't been as accurate as we'd expect, and he's taking too many sacks. Against a defense that loves getting after the quarterback, Luck could have a long day ahead of him if he can't cope with the rush.

Pro Bowl Center in Unger MT @AlbertBreer: Both Zach Miller (TE) and Max Unger are out for the Seahawks. Tough blow, with OTs already down.

  2. How is it that when A.Q.Shipley stepped in last year for Satele that our center position's performance went up a bit?

How is it that when McGlynn steps in this year the same thing happens?

Most of us probably agree that McGlynn should continue at center even if Satele is healthy.

I cannot believe we all agree to keep McGlynn on the team :)Just not as Guard :):) :) And Stinkenbach  Wow he looked great in IMO

  3. I really feel that Richardson compares favorably to Maurice Jones-Drew. He is a shorter and stockier back that can get lost behind blockers but has great speed. He is like a bowling ball who hits like a ton of bricks and is tough to bring down. He is a tremendous upgrade at RB and much better than Addai.

His yards after contact is 1.6 ?Not too tough to bring down

  4. No one has ever suggested that he's Pro Bowl material. I don't mean to defend him; I don't think he's any good either. I'm just saying that I don't think the coaching staff and management would keep a player in the name of saving face.

Agree especially Grigs being an EX O lineman himself

  5. I think it's 75 yards to the back of the end zone...

You kick off from your own 35....

65 yards to the goal line,  another 10 to the back of the end zone...    that's 75....

Now,  if you want to add another 10 feet because of the height of the cross bar, that's another story...   add 3.3 yards...

    Still,  short of 85....

Saw Patty Mac hit a return man knock him back 8.5 yards :)

  6. Sorry, but from what I can tell, he looks slow and not very elusive for his size. Maybe it's some sort of optical illusion coming through my TV, but that's what I gather in the short time I've seen him. Seen him at camp twice too and was not impressed at all.

The Balzer is back.heya have not seen you around :)

  7. Hickman was the guy, I think. He looked very good on the inside, to me. Too bad he got hurt.

He was looking good sadly he was injured. He put on weight it looked like, next year he could be a DT lolhe looked huge

  8. Seriously? Navaro Bowman arguably apart of the BEST ILB duo in the NFL coming to the Indianapolis Colts for only a 3rd round pick?

The day that happens, the price of gas will be $0.99

hmm i remember alot lower but id take.99 :)

  9. Though nice of Andrew to take the blame for the sack. That was all on Castanzo. If it was cadence, then why did the rest of the OL do their jobs properly and had their bodies in good positions to protect properly. Castanzo was clearly not lined up nor angled properly to stop William's burst. I find it good leadership on Luck's part to take the blame, but poor personal accountability for Castanzo to blame him and let him take the blame when clearly he was as much or if not more at fault. Everyone else did their jobs properly on the OL for that play.

Do you believe Williams can be blocked everytime by everyone in every game?He is not new to this game he is going to beat his man time and time again not just Castanzo.

  10. In 4 quarters, you can get no sense of anything whatsoever?  Ok.

You must remember Bradshaw was out and Allen I am sure both are a part of Peps Offense. And with DHB a little hobbled we saw nothing of Peps potential.Bradshaw is a great blocker when he gets in the game Luck will have more time to throw.

  11. Just charted the first Q, which was when the starting line played. I'm not going to list every play, but there were very few negatives. Andrew is taking the blame for the sack.

Those posters who jumped the gun and made negative threads about the Oline need to review the plays again.

The line probably graded out to a B.

We must remember it is early and Bradshaw was not playing.Bradshaw is 1 mean blocker in the backfield.
