Everybody on hear knows if they seen my posts i always defend this coaching staff and RG3. This post I cannot. They are reporting on a local sports radio show Kevin and Rock (DC PEOPLE MAY KNOW THEM)they have a source inside redskins park that told them initially on the Haloti Ngata hit he did sprain his LCL but when he came back in the game he sprained his ACL as well. The Shanahans Snyder RG3 and select others kept it secret and let him play. Our whole future was put on the shoulders of this kid and you risk his career for a few wins? Im so livid as a fan right now it's unreal. Im also hearing from a buddy that knows players and some front office staff the the new injury thats being reported a slight mcl and acl tear is much worse that its a complete tear of both and he most likely will miss all of the 2013 season. I forgot to add that Dr Andrews is gonna have to do a surgery just to see how bad it is....Then weeks later do the surgery to fix the ACL and MCL so RG3 will need 2 surgeries. Another problem is this is his second time tearing that same ACL
EDIT: I just read through all posts....RGIII- Im hearing his PCL is fine so thats a little good news

I hate the cowboys but you are wrong here. Being the Qb for the Dallas Cowboys is alot more demanding and stressfull then being the QB of most teams. If they lose he gets hammered. It wasnt his fault they lost Sunday how about the Defense getting gashed on the ground. He was the reason they had a shot at the division not the problem. I hate that your making me defend Romo...lol

There is nothing wrong what he said. Some Colts fan on this board are just looking for flaws in RG3. He was being humble. You see it every game opposing Qb's and opposing coaches talking to each other after games. Im sure Luck has done it but he wasnt mic'd up so we don't know what he said.

Seattle is gonna be tough but they are terrible on the road there record was 3-5 on the road this season. There defensive weakness which they dont have much of a weakness is down the middle of the field which is where the redskins love to attack and is there strong point on offense. Quick WR's like Garcon and Moss are what gives there big physical corners fits. I think Washington will upset them. Another stat I saw was posted on the seahawks message board and is a huge concern with there fanbase apparently they also play horrible not just on the road but on real grass fields they had the statistic on there board saying there offense scores 7 points less average on grass and there defense on average gives up 10 more points a game. They are also lifetime in the playoffs 1-11 on the road.sorry but I don't see it. When ur number 1 threat is Garcon, and you have seattles defensive backfield, they can stack 8 in the box and be just fine. Seattle will win -

It's funny how all of the RG3 loving media types are now predicting the Cowboys to win Sunday. Their reason? Because last week RG3 could't run full speed, eeked out a win and now prognosticators are jumping off his bandwagon because they don't trust him standing in the pocket. Well, duh, that's what we've been saying all year.
Your definately wrong I just saw on NFL live Shlereth and Bruschi picked the skins. Offcourse some people have picked dallas. CBS sports expert picks 09 out of 12 experts picked the skins.

The pistol as we see it being run today calls for a QB that is a threat to be like another running back. The most difficult aspect to defending the pistol , as it is called , is the defense has it's LB's close to the line of scrimmage to defend against the run. Find me a team running the pistol withoiut a running QB .
Thats easy the detroit lions with Matthew Stafford has run it the past 2 weeks.

The Pistol is a formation not an offense....The WR our still running Shanahans route tree the progressions our still the same...And the running game is the exact same ZONE BLOCKING SCHEME the only difference is RG3 is in the pistol instead of under center. He makes all the reads its not a firs read offense most on here think. If the first option is wide open why the hell wouldnt you throw to it? The only gimmicky thing they run is triple option and since the concussion they have maybe one it once a game sometimes none. They only ran the zone read option like 3 times in the past games. So its not a stretch he is running the same exact offense as Elway.

Just a mis-informed fan. I also hate when people say we are running the Baylor offense. Heres a great article explaining what the redskins, 49ers seahawks run isn't a gimick offense and will be the new way offenses run in the NFL. People said the same thing about shotgun formation. Because you never needed one you had the Iron man as your QB...He is 4-5 wins better then a decent qb.I think Luck is good I just think RG3 gets hated on by certain individuals on here. They say he's only gonna last 2-3 years and they bring up flaws. Who's to say Andrew Luck wont only be around for only 2-3 seasons? Thats all I'm getting at. All the INT's and completion % should be a concern. The comebacks are great but what if they are just an aberation this season? I mean look how great Eli was at coming back last year. This year not so much and he's been terrible. Do I personally think Luck will only be around 2-3 years. HELL NO but it could happen to him just as easily as RG3.It's nice to know you agree Luck is 4 to 5 wins better than a decent backup QB... ;)(just what is a decent backup QB, have the Colts ever had one?)

No i brought up the fact that people bring up the fools gold 2-14 team you had last year. If Peyton plays you win 10+ games. If you had a decent backup you would have won 6-7 games. People use last years 2-14 team as an argument to why Luck is so great because he flipped the Colts from worst to first. When by far what RG3 is doing in Washington taking a 20 year bottom feeder and making them relivent is more incredible.Luck was 3-1 against the NFC north this year. You are certainly entitled to an opinion though, regardless of how wrong it may be. But please don't pass your opinion off as fact.And just what in the world does the previous 10 years have to do with this years team? This is an entirely different organization starting from the GM on down. The team this year was over half rookies and first year Colts. To bring up an era that consisted of Manning and several other people who are no longer here and acting like that success should automatically continue is one of the dumbest things i have ever read on here and thats saying a lot.

They run Shanahans offense from the Pistol its the same offense John Elway and Jay Cutler ran except from the pistol....which by the way Big Ben and the Steelers have been using the Pistol for the last like 3 years. How come I only hear that when people are talking RG3? You know The 49ers with Kaepernick and the Seahawks with R. Wilson are running the same offense. The NFL is evolving the Patriots run the spread offense. It's not a gimmick like the wildcat. The only gimmick the skins were using was the triple option and they have barely run it the second half of the season. They use it like a trick play like a team would run a reverse.Minnesota is not a "bottom feeder" nor are the Dolphins. Yes, we all know the Colts had a soft schedule. To even infer that this team had talent and had a "bad year" in 2011 is brutally ignorant. As far as saying if Luck played on the Lions ... bla , bla , bla... it's like asking how RG3's stats would look if he played on a team with no running game and had to run a pro style offense instead of the Pop Warner stuff he's been running for years. -

Luck is beating bottom feeders and barely might i add (EXCEPT GREENBAY) if he played in the NFC North he would get brutalized playing the way he plays now.Are you people just not smart enough to realize that one guy made tons of big plays that lead a horrible roster to 10 wins while the other team is loaded with talent and has 4 wins. One guy makes big plays with the game on the line while the other crfumbles. Why stop bringing up Stafford. They have basically the same stats yet you argue Luck got snubbed and is the greatest QB since sliced bread but yet give a qb with the same stats no respect. I know he has megatron to throw to but Stafford was a #1 pick as well its not like he wasn't highly touted. Luck being a better athlete then RG3 is laughable...And RG3 and R. Wilson are no dummies either so bringing up Andrews smarts is pretty dumbQuit comparing Stafford to Luck. Stafford is throwing to the greatest talent in the NFL. He will be unanimously considered the greatest receiver to have ever played the game and he does it double and triple teamed. Reggie Wayne is good, but not Calvin Johnson good.Luck will end up with 1,000 more passing yards than RG3 and Wilson and more rookie records than Griffin and Wilson combined. Records MATTER in the NFL.
Captain Kirk Cousins won 2 games, not 1 and that IS significant in a OROY race that is this close.
Personally, I don't see any difference at all between Wilson and RG3. They are doing almost exactly the same thing. Their coaches are incorporating their QB's favorite college plays into the NFL so their QB's will feel comfortable. I'm not even sure you can say Griffin is better than Wilson. Certainly, Griffin hasn't dominated a great team the way Wilson dominated the 49er defense. That being said, both of them run way too much and are a year or 2 away from season ending injuries if they continue.
Griffin is faster than Luck, but not a better athlete. There is no other QB who possesses Luck's combination of size, speed, strength and coordination. Oh, yeah and smarts.

Especially against terrible teams like KC.It's a logical converse.People want to prop up Luck, deservedly so, for his comeback wins, but that is not a merit against which you can judge all quarterbacks because each situation is different. Last year, Eli Manning was the comeback king, but still wouldn't argue that he was better than Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers last year. Manning, much like Luck, put himself in situations in which he had to comeback.

I understand the concept but my point is you shouldn't have to comeback against the CHEIFS...Does he have molre comeback wins then RG3 yes...BUT RG3 for the most part hasent had to comeback to win he's taken care of business before the last 2 minutes. Not to mention Luck has not done it against good teams. When he's played the bears and patriots and Texans he's been blown out.And bringing up Joe Montana isnt smart he had the numbers to go along with the comebacks and I know for damn sure he never only completed 54% of his passes. Dalton has better talent around him, he is a better version of Schaub, but he don't have the cred in the fourth quarter. Keep bringing up stats, they lie. Look at Joe Montanas stats and Romo's and you would say this Romo is probably just as good or better. But that is not the case, and why is that, Montana delivered when it counted. hy is it so hard for you to understand this concept. -

Common man Peytons team his rookie year was much worse than this team. There is no way Luck should only have a 54% completion percentage. Matthew Stafford has thrown 100+ more passes and he still completes 60% of his passes. ALL ELITE QB'S ARE 60% OR ABOVE. Luck gets so many excuses to why he turns the ball over and why his % is so terrible. He has been under 50% the last 4 games. HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU LOOK AT THAT AND SAY HE DESERVES A PROBOWL NOD OVER SHAUB. HELL ANDY DALTON WAS THE REAL QB TO GET SNUBBED HE HAD A FANTASTIC SEASON 3,591 YDS. 26 td'S 16 INT'S 62.2% COMPLETION PERCENTAGE. THATS A BETTER SEASON THEN LUCK AND OH YEAH THE BENGALS MADE THE PLAYOFFS AS WELL.I don't think anybody is saying RG3 is overrated or didn't deserve to go . Your right Lucks percentage is bad, but so was Peyton's his rookie year. Luck has calmly and cooly taken over several games when it counted, in the fourth quarter, so the stats in this case are irrelevant. It's when you do it that counts. I disagree, I feel like Luck is far more important to the Colt's than Schaub is to Houston. They have more talent around him. He's an allright QB but Luck is a game closer . So in short, your wrong.
