  1. Not watching the SB last year worked out well for me: Sure, I missed an epic FlEaKing game but flack: Pats lost.

So, same game plan this year: Play with the kiddo til he goes to bed. Break out the wine for wifey, then play with the wife. Stay in bed and watch How I met your Mother, play again, and check twitter at about 11pm to see how much shenangians I'll get to post on Reddit or ignore it completely

  2. Ballard and trading up is like saying Ballard will give Bell the $ he wants: IMO not chance.

But, what I can see is flipping of assets.

So, take for example Jags (WARNING: THIS IS EXAMPLE ONLY. NO WAY BALLARD TRADES VALUE IN DIVISION). We have ample cap space. We have a backup QB who's probably above average in the league. Jags have a hole as wide as the one the Chiefs left on the Colts with their QB situation.

We go a-la Browns: We give them Brisket and say the 4th round compensitory pick. We get Bortles, as we can eat the contract and realease him, get their 4th rounder and their 2nd round pick. This would give us the #26 overall, #3 in the 2nd round, #7 in the 2nd round, #26 in R2, and move up in the 4th round as well.

    Again: EXAMPLE ONLY.

Not sure if theres a lot of teams out there QB hungry and cap needy, Jags are just the most obvious answer. If we were an NFC team dealing with the Jags, Id throw this at them but would NeVeR do that in division

no there are other factors, however the fans not seeing Leonard play mostly because we had no prime games expect the pats game which he didn't play in, really hurt his chances.

Casual media that look at prime time or marquee games and do not do their due diligence can be culprits too. They started taking the Colts seriously only since the Cowboys game, IMO.

Latest I can see is Darius finished 5th in the Fan vote as an Outside Linebacker. People knew who he was. It was the Coaches and Players who didn't vote for him

  4. Sad y'all leaving Smith out of this too. Dude's been studtastic at RT. His impact there is almost as noticeable (without Pancakes) as Nelson.

Dude was frigging drafted to play guard. He's developed into a consistent RT with tremendous athleticism, and we never hear his name in a game. I can see him being a RT for a while to come

  5. I think if the Rams were playing the Hawks, Id pick the Rams to win. But, Vic's defense with the Bears forces a QB to be patient with Mack bearing down on the pocket. I don't trush their QB to be patient in the playoffs, and I dont expect their line to hold up with that matchup

  6. Wildcard Weekend

    Colts @ Texans: Colts
    Seahawks @ Cowboys: Seahawks
    Cargers @ Ravens: Chargers
    Eagles @ Bears: Bears
    Home teams go 1-3

    Divisional Round:
    Colts @ Chiefs: Chiefs
    Bears @ Rams: Bears
    Chargers @ Pats: Pats
    Seahawks @ Saints: Saints

    Championship weekend:
    Pats @ Chiefs: Chiefs
    Bears @ Saints: Saints

    Superbowl:
    Saints

    Notes:

Until the Pats lose at home, I will pick them to win at home after a bye in the playoffs.

I would not be surprised if the Colts can upset the Chiefs. Chiefs lose to AFCS teams in the playoffs on a way to common clip.

With Bosa back, I think the Ravens have a hard time doing anything vs Chargers

I wouldnt be surprised if the Bears go to the SB this year, but Bree's has the patience and the O-line to beat the Bears scheme.

0 Trust in the Rams team right now.

Best games of the playoffs: Colts v Texans, Colts v Chiefs. Hawks v Dallas, Hawks v Saints. Pats v Chiefs. I think Saints win the SB relatively comfortable with a 10pt win if its vs Chiefs.

  7. I would consider it, but ultimately not make a huge move to do it. With Dontrell Innman, Deon Cain, TY, and probably another pick in the coming draft plus our TE group, theres little "need" to trade for AB. Frank has shown the ability to scheme TY open vs relying on TY alone to break free, and if Doyel/Ebron/Mo are all healthy an entire season I just dont see us going Jerry

  8. SI's panel is questionable:

Darius is the ONLY rookie in their conversation for DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
Darius is somehow THIRD???? for their Defensive ROOKIE of the Year?

Thank you!  The crow didn't taste to bad and now its all out of your system.  :console:

Eh, no crow was ever consumed. It was reasonable to expect given how bad the defense was performing at that time (end of training camp), and how Luck was unable to push the ball down the field more than 10 yards. Didnt trust the receivers beyond TY and Doyel, and our line was a huge ? mark.
