I felt so bad for him today, but I do have to say that as I watched them hit him I remember thinking "wow, they were careful to NOT hit him in the head. That was great!" and then scratched my head trying to figure out what was up until they got him up and I saw his leg. Poor kid cant catch a break!

TK, I don't think it's as bad as some may think. We must remember that we are very young and everything is new to everyone. There were many pluses to the game today, but you are correct. Time for the coaching staff to self scout and make the necessary adjustments to get us winning.

Brent I had a BLAST today! Too bad we lost (a little frustrated w/ our D and a LOT frustrated w/ the second rate refereeing we had to witness today--and I'm not one to complain about the refing in a loss), but overall it was good and I saw good things from our guys...more on that to come...I do not have a #32 jersey, but it was great to get to witness The Edge inducted today. Well deserved indeed!

I'm with you TK, no comparison. Andrew is cool as ice under all kinds of pressure. Blaine doesn't hold a candle. All 3 guys on the NFL AM show picked us to win as well. Here's to hoping they're right!

lol! That made me laugh! Last night was an abomination in refereeing for sure...but then I must remember these guys are trying to learn years of rules and regs "on the job"...it would def suck to be them

Brent, you're right. The Giants made way too many mistakes to win the game. Plus, we all know they end seasons better than they start them (the Giants).

Hmmmmm...honestly, I'd say you have to go with Luck. He showed in preseason that he is going to immediately be strong @ QB.Smart, calm, cool, collected, has the ability to make smart decisions and shake off bad plays (I.e. interception one play, next drive to a TD), killer arm, etc...

I'd rank these 3 Luck, then Flacco, then Locker. (Just my two cents!)

I'm with Brent, but completely understand the need to take a break. Do what ya need to do but know you'll be missed.

!! Brent you made me literally laugh out loud! I'm ready for this Bear hunt and I'm confident that our Colts are too. I can't wait to see the game unfold. I liked what I saw out of so many positions during preseason, and honestly think this monster is stronger than the rest of the NFL will give it credit for. I'm ready to shock the world!

Personally, I like everything I've seen out of Chris Young so far. I will ALWAYS love King George (no matter how old). I'm liking Josh Turner, but right now Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, and the ZBB are my favorites. (And Johnny Cash will ALWAYS be a hoss!)

Sorry guys, I haven't been on since I posted this, but it is good to know that my forum friends are seeing what I'm seeing! I could watch Reggie play all day every day. I'm PUMPED about what I'm seeing from both our O-line and D-line--wheweeee! Not to mention the QB position is looking strong all the way through. Ballard is a BEAST! And I like we're (coaching staff) being extra precautionary with the boys by pulling Collie, Redding, and Mathis. Gotta have...

I think it's mostly cautionary on all 3 counts...guess we'll see come game 1

I agree completely! We might not have won last night, but we played well. I think our O line and D line are doing great, not to mention the bullets that Andrew is throwing. I like how he doesn't let mistakes distract him for the rest of the game. And what about Ballard??? Oh yeah!
