  1. Not at all. Cain had Roy Hall levels of hype, Patmon is more like Blair White. Patmon could very well be a steal, but he will not generate much buzz unless he shows out big time in the preseason. I believe he’s destined for the practice squad year one. I think Fountain and Johnson both make the initial roster if everyone is healthy (not likely).
  2. Had no idea Rosen had that canon on him. I’m not sure I’ve ever watched him throw a pass but my perception of him was having a weak arm.
  3. Arguably our four weakest positions; QB, DT, WR, and K, have all been addressed considerably. No spot has gotten worse although we’ve lost a little depth, but other role players will emerge. If some things go our way we’re definitely contenders imo.
  4. The Packers were in the NFC championship game where they got schooled by the Niners. They did absolutely nothing to get better now and overdrafted two players to ride the pine. For a team that should be going all in they crapped the bed. I would not be happy if I were a Packers fan.
  5. I think Mack will get hurt and miss a couple games again this year. I’d combine the totals of Williams and Wilkins and add another 2 or 3 carries per game. My prediction is definitely over 9000.
  6. We’d probably almost have to give up a pick just to move him for cap relief. There is zero market for him now. If the Pats won’t even take a late round QB flyer and are taking kickers then they aren’t gonna trade for our overpaid backup. I can’t really think of any team with a more bleak QB situation. If Cam can’t even find a team yet without needing to be traded then Brisket is gonna have negative value.
  7. Honestly I think the ‘Rivers will be a great mentor’ idea is overblown. Rivers is here to start, not teach some rookie how to have work ethic. It will be Reich, Sirianni, and Marcus Brady’s job to mold him into our future starting QB. Eason can certainly learn from Rivers and I hope he soaks up everything he can but I’m not going to count Rivers to ‘hold him accountable’, that fire will be reserved for his linemen and receivers.
  8. He wasn’t my guy but I like his arm talent. My biggest concern for him is the rumors of poor work ethic. I trust Ballard and Reich to have done their homework and get the best out of him.
  9. Taylor behind this Oline could seriously break records. Even though I want to go all in on defense from now on, a small part of me wants to draft Muti and just maul everyone.
  10. One thing to contemplate is that Q or Buckner will not change their numbers. I could see Pittman and Taylor having one number in TC but changing after cuts are made. I would like to see Taylor rocking the #32 here and be the first real bell cow back we’ve had since Edge. These are the decisions that keep me up at night.
  11. Very interesting that he was a PFF all American yet they also thought he was a massive reach. He graded ahead of McKinney and they call the Giants getting him fifty picks earlier a steal but he’s a reach? As much as I respect them this is a goofy take.
  12. Who are your mid-late guys you’re wanting? Anthony Gordon - QB Tyler Johnson - WR Colby Parkinson - TE Jon Runyan - OT Logan Stenberg - OG Curtis Weaver - Edge John Penisini - DT Evan Weaver - LB Troy Pride Jr - CB K’von Wallace - S
  13. I really have no idea who’s jersey to get! Q Buckner Maniac Pittman Taylor This will be a hell of a difficult choice and Ballard needs to be more conscious of this when he’s bringing in all these awesome players. Please Chris, draft some mundane players like a Nose Tackle or Kicker with your next picks.
  14. Also not sure that they’ll be locking him down as a safety. He played corner the previous two years so maybe that’ll be where they see him. Tell was drafted with everyone thinking he’d play safety but he was exclusively a corner and looked very solid there.
  15. Don’t know much about him but I feel screwed by the draft gods twice in a row now. I was wanting Baun at 75 and he goes at 74. Trade down ten spots and I wanted Lewis and he goes right before us. No idea if Ballard was looking at either but my hopes were ruined. I wonder if Blackmon signals a stronger push to move Hooker. I think we played a good amount of three safety sets so it’s not like he’s just for depth.
  16. I didn’t like the pick either and he didn’t show much to dispel that feeling as a rookie but I’m not gonna give up on him yet. He’s very clearly a bright young man, by all accounts is a hard worker, and he has pretty solid athleticism. He has all the makings of a good player so hopefully his talent catches up to his potential.
  17. My man has all the physical ability in the world but it’s very clear he’s lacking between the ears. Rookie year could have been written off due to age but at this point he’s barely deserving of a roster spot and he’ll probably be off one starting the 2021 season.
  18. I like it quite a bit but I question whether Claypool would be there that late. Also think there will be a better tackle prospect there but I’d prefer to not use our first pick at a position of such strength for us. If we did draft one that high I’d want to play him at RT and move Smith to RG.
  19. How does Philip Rivers qualify for a Colts era but Peyton doesn’t? The P Money era is my answer. I was raised to be a Dolphins fan for some reason living in the Midwest but once I was old enough to form my own identity I picked the Colts. I remember scouring through a fantasy football catalog and seeing Peyton, Edge, Marvin, and some drunk guy who used to kick for us all ranked number one at their respective positions going into the year and saying “that’s my team.”
  20. I know he’s supposed to be ‘generational’ but how often does the guy who’s supposed to be ‘generational’ prove to be? Just in the last few years we’ve had two edge prospects that were labeled as such, Garrett and Clowney, neither have proven to be so. Clowney is decidedly NOT and Garrett, while he has been tremendous, has a long way to go to be on that level. Plus getting suspended for the back half of this last year really put a damper on that development. For Young to meet the level of hype he will have to be twice as good as Garrett and that’s just unrealistic. Burrow should be fa
  21. It’s over but now I have two teams I get to hate watch and hope for them to lose every weekend. Makes me sad because I’ve always had a fondness for the Bucs. Just when they bring back their 2000’s jerseys too. ☹️
  22. How a conversation between Ballard and BoB should go.... Ballard: Look BoB, we have a great quarterback that we just don’t have the cap space for and we think would be mutually beneficial for both our teams to come to an agreement. We’ll give you Jacoby and you give us Deshaun. We get cap relief now, and you get it in another year when you no longer have to pay Watson. BoB: Uhhhhhhh, that sounds like a pretty good deal but we think we could get more value out of it. Ballard: Look BoB, we can come up a little, Brissett for Watson and Tunsil, but you have to eat Tunsi
