You absolutely can control physical traits…give a child puberty blockers or have them eat a horrible diet or starve them through malnutrition and most assuredly they won’t fully develop into their greatest potential. To think someone can’t become more accurate is just a horrible take. I mean unless you think practice and repetition is pointless I mean why do you think athletes spend so much time working on their craft? I’ve seen it tons in the nba players that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn now are deadly 3pt shooters. It’s just going to come down to the right coaches, the kid putting in the right effort, right protection, and getting him the right players to throw to…and I think we have two of those in house and hopefully we can get some players today to help with the other two.

    Puberty blockers?

    Sigh

The Panthers are feeding Young some tallenizers.

I could tell you the medical terms for both but I super don't want to now

As @USAFHoosier points out below, stingers can be tricky.  The main problem is not necessarily the pain, but the lack of feeling (i.e., numbness and tingling) you *can* experience in your arm and hand.  If those are the symptoms he's experiencing late in the week, that will substantially affect his ability to throw the football.

Yep.  Everyone reacts differently, depending on the severity, since it's literally a bundle of nerves (brachial plexus).  Nerves are tricky.

It may well be structural and is very unlikely to have anything to do with the brachial plexus... It will come down to his status on game day and likely the presence or absence of active correlating compression on an MRI.  We have nowhere near enough information in the press to predict his status, but I'll gamble that he'll understate the severity of his symptoms and play anyway.

I was very nervous as Goodell approached the podium, more nervous than when I proposed two weeks ago (don't tell my Giants fan fiancé that!) but I am pretty happy!!!

That makes sense... we only get a first round draft pick once a year, but there is no limit on how many people you are allowed to propose to.

Did your fiance go to an SEC school or have a good combine performance?

  4. He's not bad, but he's no elite WR either. Let's reign in the expectations for him.

We've gone some years without an Aaron Moorehead/Roy Hall/Mike Hart. (Stanley Jean-Baptiese and Tim Fugger tried real hard, but never made that fever pitch so they only get an honorable mention.)

We should strive to keep it that way.

You hit the nail on the head.  We need to start a new league to counter-balance the lingerie league, do one with really nice ethical fan-favorites.  Tebow could thrive in such a setting.

  5. It's funny but if this was some other team and we just named these 2 guys player A and player B, you'd look at the stats of fill-in player B and question if player A should be benched even once he's healthy...

I realized Luck will bounce back in all regards, just funny how so many teams are grabbing onto different QBs every game by preference rather than necessity after a hot drive or a solid game.

This "what if" falls apart pretty quickly when more is considered than just 2015 stats, I know.

  6. Well WE- as in together, speaking for everyone.

BOUT- short term for about, very often used as about's slang term.

That- a pronoun that is mainly used to indicate an individual or object. It represents something.

Action- broad term describing a lot of things happening or a movement or movements.

Boss- Slang term used as friend, buddy. Also used as a word for the person that tells you what to do at a job.

The Colts are always "bout that action boss"! :)

This is an off topic adult phrase...

1)WE = trying to get involved with the below theme

2)Bout = Autocorrect typo for LaBeouf, as in Shia LeBouf.  You know he's totally into some inappropriate stuff.

3)That = Another autocorrect for a word we're not really to type on the interweb

4)Action = Exactly what you think it is.  Ask Magic Johnson.

5)Boss = One who professionally supervises safety of #4, often for a hefty percentage of the overall fee.

The author is requesting participation in the after-hours entertainment preferences of a professional actor.

    Not really a football phrase.

  7. Honestly I love those bombs on 3rd and long at nearly mid field.  Sure they are like crappy punts, but the defense doesn't expect them as much as a 13 yard pass, and in this day an age the chances of a completion OR a defensive pass interference are pretty darn reasonable, whereas an interception is somewhat unlikely and harmful only to qb stats (and equates to a crummy punt).  The WR should know the ball is coming to him and be ready to tackle if it's picked, so there is not much chance for a long runback.  I think this needs to happen much more often in the NFL.

  8. I loved seeing Trent on the sidelines drinking coffee. He will need all the calories he can get to win on The Biggest Loser.

OK Ms or Mr Pile-it-on, the biggest loser is you.  Coffee has zero calories.  Zero.  Divide his yards gained today by the number of calories in coffee and you still fail.

Edit: Herron 2.7 YPC today...  Trent averaged 3.3 for the season.  Something will need to improve against Brady, who technically is not really the main wage-earner at home.

  9. Given that they have won the division, I would think they protect hilton and let brazil recover a bit while giving rogers some targets to get ready for playoffs, since it seems to be him going forward as DHB hasn't helped them win.

I'm going nuts for my fantasy team, I'll sit Roddy White, Edelman, Crabtree, (injured Welker), and start Rogers.  Championship game, let's go nuts!

  10. With a full training camp Rogers definitely has all the physical abilities to be the #1 WR. If we decide next year to ditch the power run and go heavy pass i think he can be a top 5-10 WR in the league.

haha, ditch the power run.  That's like saying next year I'm going to ditch being tall dark and handsome, and so far I haven't achieved even the first two.

I guess we could ditch the muscular dude running into a wall of blue that is located ever so slightly behind the yard of scrimmage.

  11. It looks like the Colts don't think he is the second coming of Wes Welker, Steve Largent, Brandon Stokley, Lance Alworth and Dwight Clark after all. Thank goodness, that unlike some fans, the Colts are a classy organization that judges talent based on skill and not extracurricular circumstances.

Classy, maybe, but so are perhaps 27 other teams.  And we don't exactly lead the classy status, as Irsay is a minor step up from MArk Cuban.  Juding based on talent?  I dunno... explain the pickups of DHB and Richardson?  Super duper former first rounders so far.  In other news, Irsay will soon be pushing for Mr Purple Drank himself (drum roll) - - - Jamarcus!!  1st overall to the colts!
