  1. Which prospects have the highest RAS number? I can figure out our class from there lol
  2. I wonder how many of his repeat injuries would have been avoided if he had surgery instead of just playing through it.
  3. You are being overly dramatic about people calling a spade a spade. Even Pitt said he shouldn't have said it.
  4. Not sure how it reflects poorly on anyone for criticizing a silly/ridiculous comment. Pitt's history doesn't change what he said. So how many times does a player have to make a dumb comment before we are ALLOWED to talk about it? lol
  5. Yea, probably but we could close down this forum entirely if any discussion is met with "so". Pretty much everything said on here could be considered small potatoes. Pitt made a silly/ridiculous comment. People are just commenting/calling him out on it.
  6. So you don't think his comment was a bit ridiculous, especially given how high his target share is already? As Zaire says, he just wants to be able to feed his family lol
  7. Maybe they will just put the horseshoe on the 50 yd line The whole helmet looks kind of bleh
  8. Probably a good bet. We didn't keep Faulk, we didn't keep Edge... we were ahead of the game in the area of not paying to keep RBs. Other than Gore, have we had much in the way of starting RBs in their upper 20s or 30s? Edge was 27 in his last year as a Colt so guess that is borderline.
  9. If the contract says a player can be terminated early, then terminating them early is still honoring the contract. People say Taylor isn't honoring the contract because he appeared to be faking an injury. That is definitely a violation of the contract and I bet the Colts aren't fighting against that because they are still holding out hope of salvaging the relationship with Taylor.
  10. He has to play or his contract would roll over to next year. Whether or not he wants to be here is immaterial to that. Sounds like a player that has realized that fact and is saying what the Colts want him to say in order to get on the field so he can get this contract over with or get traded.
  11. Maybe Zaire Franklin has been feeding Taylor's family since he is so worried about him being able to put food on the table and that is why the relationship is improving (joking) Good news that the relationship has improved. Hopefully more than just Taylor wanting to make sure this year counts so he can leave afterwards.
  12. The issue wasn't JT asking for an early extension. It is how he handled it when told no. If Colts didn't offer AR an early extension, then I doubt he would be pulling the crap JT is pulling now.
  13. Were those 100s of players on their rookie deals? Would love to see a link to that
  14. Well, he refused to have a physical when asked. That loses any benefit of the doubt. If he was legitimately injured, then colts and jt would both know seeking a trade would be impossible
  15. I think it is still ridiculous (just less so) but at least that is a lot more common. I am never fine with faking an injury so jt deserves any bashing he gets regardless or anything else.
  16. He is making exactly what he is supposed to on his ROOKIE contract. You would have a point if this was occurring next year. Yes I will refute it. HE ISN'T DONE WITH HIS ROOKIE CONTRACT.
  17. Yea, I don't know how he is able to feed his family on 4 mil. Poor jt
  18. It is not just for wanting a new contract. It is for refusing to suit up by faking an injury and acting like this a year before his rookie contract is up. It is one thing to want and ask for a new contract. It is quite another thing to do what JT is doing. Pittman probably wants a new contract too but he is acting like an adult
  19. Are concussions happening more frequently or just better reported?
  20. JT has liked quite a few tweets that were telling and he could fire his agent if his agent was misrepresenting his feelings on the matter. He's also a grown man. He could have done his physical like he was asked to do let the Colts know his health status. Sure, maybe he isn't as set against leaving the Colts as being reported but there's not much to sugarcoat.
  21. Great. Not the same thing. Taylor is more than welcome to leave the NFL and look for the $12 million job.
  22. Nope but even if I did, I wouldn't be sitting at home pretending to be sick until they gave me one. Plus, I'm not on a contract so your point was already apples and oranges. Nobody would care if all Taylor did was ASK for a raise. Did you ever ask anyone to triple your salary?
  23. Yup, but if the Colts don't trade him then he doesn't have much of a choice unless he wants the last year of his contract to roll over to next year and we continue to have the same discussion. Unfortunately for Taylor, the Colts could tag him for a couple more years so he could be simmering for a bit lol.
  24. Most think he can but he has yet to prove it (while claiming he was injured). If someone was coming back from injury and refused to have a physical done while claiming to be injured, then how would you feel about tripling their pay or more (depending on his asking price)? Yea, many have wanted an extension, not many during their rookie deals. How many have faked injuries before their ROOKIE deal was even completed?
