The Flacco signing was foolish. He was washed up with the Jets, and played "decent" with the Browns. 8.7 million is a massive overkill for him.
-
I don't think he came back healthy, which led to him playing poorly. Maybe this off-season he heals up and can make another run. If last year was what he is? Retire, because if you don't, the NFL will retire you..
-
Jeremiah Trotter Jr is going to be a stud, mark it down. I'd take him with our 2nd round pick. Brandon Fiske would be my 3rd round choice, if available.
-
If it goes through, it's going to be a 1st and 3rd, at least.
-
Brian Burns gets traded to the Giants for a 2nd and 5th-round pick. Man, I know he has a big contact, but he would have been a force in Indy..
-
We're just going all in with last year's team. I would hope we AT LEAST address the OL, it's going to get Richardson killed. Juedy could have been had for a 5th rounder..

Richardson has been injury-prone. That's one of the many reasons he only started 13 games in college. I can see Fields. From what's being reported, it wouldn't take much, most likely a day 3 pick...
-
I do not want to spend stupid money like the Jags are doing. But we have specific needs that need to be addressed. The 49ers just released Armstead, he'd be nice. We could use some OL help, teams way over the cap are selling cheaply.
-
I'm REALLY surprised that the Giants or Jets didn't take a flier on him. The Giants have nothing, Wentz isn't a pro bowler, but he can play good at times..

The bigges problem he has is, he's being compared to CJ Stroud, who already looks like a franchise QB.
-
The Bears might end up being the big winner in this. Sure their team sucks, that's because their QB is horrible. But they have the Panthers #1 pick, so much like the Cardinal's, who have the Texans #1 pick, it's a race to the bottom..

He bet on, or against the Colts, IN the Colts facility, USING an alias. No way does he get restored next year. I have doubts he's ever let back, but if he does it's at least a few years out.
-
The Cards also have the Texan's #1 pick next year as well, so they can be sure to get into the top two. How are they going to do this with Murray? If they trade him they get a monster cap hit, if they cut him even worse. I have no idea why they chose to give a guy and extension 2 years before they had to, all the while he had such a bad work ethic that they had to put "film room time" in his contract..

Wow eagles signed isahiah rodgers and are going to stash him for a year,
Dude bet on his own team in the team facility using an alias. No way does he get cleared next year, I doubt he ever gets cleared..

I see Jordan Wilkins on the Browns list. Will the Colts bring him back?
Doubt it, he's been cut by several teams now..

Not that he was a world beater, but they just released Colt McCoy. The starter is on the PUP list, they only have a rookie who struggled, and Dobbs, who they just traded a 6th for him and a 7th, not exactly quality. Kyler Murray will start on the PUP, and it looks like they want to move on from him. Might be tough, they just signed him to a huge extension that just starts to kick in this year.

When did this happen? he was a STUD in college, and he's been in the league a minute. Former 2nd round pick, only 25 years old. I wouldn't mind seeing us give him a hard look..
-
Looks like PFF was way off on many of their predictions last year. Things change quickly in a year.

It wasn't just Pinter and Pryor that hit the wall. Kelly looked to be cut material, just flat out horrible. Smith was average on a good day, and even the mighty Nelson was a tackling sled too many times. Everyone hit the wall at the same time, that tells me that coaching, or scheme had a lot to do with it..

I get the impression they really feel the coaching was the issue.
Went from a very good OL, to a complete joke in 1 year. Yea, I think it was coaching as well..

How senior Harris LaChance won a starting job on BYU’s highly regarded offensive line

Harris LaChance
BYU Cougars#76
*: OT
Ht: 6060
Wt: 6060
Hand: 304
Arm: 912
Wing: 3314
40: 5.25
Background:
Originally from Herriman, Utah. Attended Herriman High School. Played at BYU. Decided to redshirt his first year. As a redshirt freshman, he played in thirteen games, contributing to a very good offense. During the 2020 season, played in all eleven games, contributing to an outstanding offensive line. As a redshirt sophomore, he started in five games and missed part of the season due to injury. Had a fantastic 2022 season, starting in five games, and serving as an absolutely dominant offensive lineman
He was born in 1996. So maybe the reason he fell out of the draft is his age, 27 already..

Will Fries part 2. Not that Will Fries is bad, but they both share the same type of film..
-
Win in the Trenches. We should have gone OL..
-
Was there REALLY that much difference between Will Levis and AR? I would have rather traded down several times and took Levis, picked up a 1st next year and a few more picks this year, and still gotten that same type of guy.
Of course, to be fair, who knew Levis would fall this far..
