  1. Anyone else have the terrible fear of our horrible artificial turf monster wrecking this kids knee and destroying one of his biggest assets?? It’s like I have this sick feeling in my stomach. I hate our turf.
  2. You absolutely can control physical traits…give a child puberty blockers or have them eat a horrible diet or starve them through malnutrition and most assuredly they won’t fully develop into their greatest potential. To think someone can’t become more accurate is just a horrible take. I mean unless you think practice and repetition is pointless I mean why do you think athletes spend so much time working on their craft? I’ve seen it tons in the nba players that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn now are deadly 3pt shooters. It’s just going to come down to the right coaches, the kid putting in the right effort, right protection, and getting him the right players to throw to…and I think we have two of those in house and hopefully we can get some players today to help with the other two.
  3. In most positions being avg is fine…you can’t afford and maybe don’t need great at every position but qb is just one of those positions that you likely need a star at or you better be great across the board to compensate. Leaves no room for error anywhere else on your roster if not. So I’d rather know right away if this guy is a bust then mess around in mediocrity when other positions mediocrity might be just fine.
  4. Bust to me is still better than simply adequate. At qb to me it’s either top shelf difference maker or you might as well have a bust and know it and go get another. Playing around in the middle of no man’s land living in the world of just ok leads to 500 football and not being good enough to win it all and yet not bad enough to go back and take another shot at a top guy. Boom or bust is fine at this particular position in my opinion.
  5. BPA…just because you have great secondary doesn’t mean you shouldn’t add to it. Can never have too many good corners or pass rushers.
  6. Yeah their line has been picked apart last couple years. Needed to rebuild.
  7. And Levis gambling odds jumped a lot as well.
  8. Swift is hurt all the time. I wouldn’t be shocked if they move him.
  9. I did not expect two rbs to go off before a TE. Think there will be a run soon.
  10. Wonder if the Colts knew his camp would leak so they told him they would take him so they could throw off others and take Richardson.
  11. I left for awhile…negativity was just disgusting but I’m hopeful with Richardson we will have less of that going forward. No pressure AR lol.
  12. OL, WR, or Corner…I don’t think they are taking Levis.
  13. Bears had to have taken Carter off their board. Not only did they trade back to 9 then they traded back 1 spot when he was right there for them to give him up.
  14. Why? That will be about the time he starts his first game. His floor is 2022 Justin Fields…ceiling is Cam Newton/Lamar Jackson MVP seasons. We have the right coach to tap into his potential…this is a great pick.
  15. They should have a good back up plan that is obvious with his health…but let’s be real…Nick Foles contemplated retiring in 2017 and didn’t pick up a football for months…ended up playing what another 8 years and winning a SB…it was a valid consideration by Tua…I don’t think he is going to change his mind unless he suffers another major concussion…of course that is a good chance in the future so sure you have contingencies but hard to just go get another qb without draft capital.
  16. This is old news. Just rehashed. Quinn brought this up before the combine like more than a month or two ago on the radio show in the morning show “Two Pros and a cup of Joe”. Who knows what the context to it really is…only he and the Mannings probably know but it was brought up because people were discussing red flags about all the qbs except Young and someone asked what Strouds was and he brought it up. What relevance it has to front offices etc is to each to decide. But this isn’t new info…been out there a while and certainly would be known by scouts and GMs as that didn’t just happen in the last few days.
  17. I think Hurts will get better…but like Dak Prescott his ceiling is below that top tier of qb. Obviously good enough to win with…maybe even put a good enough team around to win a SB. But not a guy that is going to carry your team to ultimate success.
  18. Well I think they are in reset mode. They aren’t one player away from the playoffs. I think they would drop back to say Vegas or Atlanta and still getting a top 10 talent and adding some extra day 2 picks. All said I wouldn’t even be shocked to see Chicago move back up and wouldn’t be shocked if we have had convos with them about our #4 if our qb isn’t there.
  19. True…or let them get Anderson either…I just see Seattle targeting qb more than Detroit. Of course Oakland, Tennessee, Atlanta they all have qb needs and could move up.
  20. Campbell is apparently very happy with Goffs progression. Said that he challenged and pushed him very hard last year and he answered the call. I imagine if they slide back next year then they may put pieces together to trade up to get a qb but this year I think they load up on defense and maybe take one of these really good tight ends. I think Seattle was the team I thought might jump up to take Richardson and sit him behind Smith.
  21. Or he signs…holds out and shows up only for the last 6 games of the season when the Ravens have tanked their season…and next year his tag goes up again. Nobody wants a malecontent…he can force a trade if he plays hard ball. Because he is only 26 he has the time on his side. Baltimore didn’t want to sign him to a fair market deal (comparable to a qb in his division and similar in experience and skill) then they should be prepared to move on from him. Once you insult your starting qb you better have a plan to find a replacement. Even if I wouldn’t have signed him for what he is saying I wouldn’t alienate my star player. Should have traded him to begin with…now his value is going down and what you can get for him will to.
