I think they.will win more than that, they might even sneak into the playoffs; but it will be a waste because that will just be a low draft pick.

I would be ok if that was actually the plan. It's being not good enough to be a real SB contender, but not bad enough for a top draft pick that I hate. Being a mediocre to good team is a waste.

Just add it to the list. A an easier solution would just be to keep the one we had. I haven't seen the contract. But I suspect we won't be finding equally good guards for much cheaper than what he got in Minn. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but it seems the list of needs just keeps growing...there are only so many needs you can cover with limited draft picks. Yes I know more FAs and players will be cut. But is that really where we want to do most our shopping if we want to compete this year.

Was it the 2019 end of season interview that Ballard basically said the lack of depth on the OLine that hurt us and that was on him. I could be remembering incorrectly...but if not it seems like we are heading down that path again. I'm talking quality guys not just a bunch of random hope they can "hold down the fort" guys. We are still missing starters and losing depth.

No doubt we are better at QB and ER, but is that really enough for second most improved. I would just like to see how they came to that conclusion and how other teams moves were graded comparatively.

I worried about that personality trait from the start. He always seemed like he would be content walking away and pursuing other interests. I think when the injuries and rehab started piling up the Colts should have already been looking for a replacement (Green Bay style) .
