  1. No question we draft him
  2. Yea but the chances is a lot low with him due to age, injury , scheme etc… but again if we miss out on stroud , young, Richardson , in that order I would mind taking a flyer on him TBH Levis is just as old tbh he is turning 24 in June
  3. Not even always getting a sack but just flat out pressuring the qb to speed him up into bad throws,
  4. I would agree , Yea watching the games he never just beat a guy , once they got their hands on him he was out the play and was horrible in run defense. A lot of his sacks was second effort or another player chasing them to him.
  5. To be fair trade ups rarely ever work , the first QB taken rarely pans out and normally isn’t the best in the class. I kind of blame a lot of the QB stuff on frank because from what Frank used to say and irsay, Ballard frank is the one they leaned on to pick these QBs and trade for them etc…I think going to 3 we will be fine the success rate for the 3 qb taken is just about as good if not better than the first guy. 4 might not be it doe.
  6. I’m not saying that’s your point of view because I do think you are right that we are making a big deal out of it. But to be fair the age means a lot because he is 4-5 years older than some of these other QBs and he is still gonna take 2-3 years of development. He reminds me of Brandon weedon when he was killing college but he is a grown grown man playing with young men/kids 18-21 etc… imagine if you was in your prime going against people that’s 4-6 years younger than you you would dominate them. But again if he drops to the 3rd and we haven’t picked a QB I would take him.
  7. Yup all parties learned they lesson , and franks loyalty and decisions cost us time and time again in the QB market. We just need to draft our own QB , I can see a path for success for all 4 top guys, 5 if you let irsay tell it . But I could see young dropping to 3 because Frank fall in love with Richardson and Texas take strouds or vice versa. But I am absolutely comfortable with any of the 3 from young, strouds , Richardson. I am not so high on Levis and hooker but I could see a possible way for us to have success with Levis not ideal. Hooker is to old to me so I wouldn’t take him unless he falls to 3rd or something
  8. Well they wasn’t impactful sacks and he didn’t get consistent pressure at all
  9. Ok fair point , but we don’t need him to be drew Brees. We just need to maximize what he is good at while teaching him to get his yards but not put his body on the line unless it’s important. I understand what you saying doe. But I see a path for success
  10. Well sometimes accuracy is of the mark for mechanical reasons or type of system you running etc… but what I do know is Seattle to a chance on metcaf and colts played it safe and how did that turn out for us. And his accuracy should get better with more reps. More reps and coaching leads to more anticipation and mechanics which leads to some what improvements in accuracy. But that’s why you get a coaching staff and they have to build players
  11. That reminds me of how the Washington (RS) commanders ran rg3 to the ground and made him play on a bad knee and end up ending his career
  12. I think what killed cam was the shoulder injury you are never the same after one of them.
  13. If you remember what Frank said a QB scramble picking up a first down is one of the Highest graded things with QBR etc… 2-3 a game is the difference as we all no being colts fans getting our zones broken by a I’ll advised scramble by tanehill or one of them guys
  14. We have to trust our coaching staff to say they can develop a guy and make them better he is 20 years old and even if he never because the greatest pure passer we can get a good 8-10 years before his athleticism starts to decline normally for athletic guys. Look I have no fear of drafting QB with the biggest up side you know why……what is worst being a 9-8 , 10-7 team and having to pay too dollar to a Daniels jones or Kurt cousin type QB or drafting a guy he suck you team is bad and you get another shot at getting the next guy. The NFL doesn’t reward middle of the pack teams you have to be a bad team to get the top players with a little bit of luck. But I would rather be bad than mediocre where we not good enough to win or contend but we not bad enough to get the real good players
  15. It was a good read I like a lot of the QB takes and I feel that similar personality issue with Levis. Every time I hear him talk something seems off. He seems very cocky and arrogant for a player who been in college football as long as he has and not that polished doesn’t seem warranted. But it could just be a chip on his shoulder underdog prove them wrong type mentality. I am comfortable with young , stroud , Levis*, Richardson* as the pick and understand each one would take a different plan for success. Young and stroud for the same reason you stated. Richardson I like for the physical tools and that untapped clay he is only 20 years old turning 21. With Richardson we have to think long term like him and JT running the RPO would be deadly and would make the read’s easier and simple for him while he develops as a passer. With the current team we have I could see a path for success for him. I’m not really sold on hooker because of the age thing like he is gonna be what 25-26 by the time he play when you have all the top QBs in afc right now 23-28 with 2-7 years of exp and he would be a redshirted rookie starting first game at 26-27. I think we should go for it all and trust the staff we put together and take the player with the most upside and is only 20 years old and we can gradually improve him each year even if it takes 2-3 years to make him a good starter he would only be 22—24 which is still younger than Levis and hooker is now. No risk it no biscuit ,
  16. Kicking has cost us the last few years dating all the way back to Vinny last year or 2 , so I wasn’t to mad about the signing. But I hope he can avoid the colts curse of players coming to Indy and having injuries and bad play. I don’t know if it’s the turf or what but the colts are always one of the most injured teams (no stats to back up this claim just my opinion)
  17. We got one of the best kickers now , Ballard tired of all the kicking nonsense
  18. Side note Am I the only one upset seeing frank with what was suppose to be our prom date in strouds and young lol
  19. I see it the opposite Levis for all the more experience he has , haven’t shown on the field or his technique
  20. I agree same flaws but not same upside and potential
  21. Yea Richardson is perfect 10 ras , And I think will is just raw as Richardson except he doesn’t have the elite up said that Richardson has. I would love young or strouds but that ain’t happening. I would take Richardson over Levis for a couple reasons, Richardson has the elite athleticism and a stronger arm 60mph vs 59mph of Levis and that’s Levis calling card. But have accuracy issues. Will is a 5th year sr and still is refined vs a red shirt sophomore. I can understand the rawness of red shirted sophomore but not really a 5th year sr. Both of them have red flags and risk so why not take the one with the biggest upside. I don’t really see nothing Levis does better tbh
  22. What funny is he never gets off 1st read it’s look and throw
