This didn't long. That being creating a Thread like this. Guy is still rusty (hasn't played a meaningful game since Dec of 2016) and doesn't have his best WR but whatever. Have it at boys, I am staying out of this negativity Thread.

Not to mention Protection wasn't great. They have things to clean up , but way early to be starting this. OL was probably 3 brand new players two being rookies.

I'm not questioning his judgement of these two players. Neither on Leonard. Ballard is one of the best scout in the NFL by most experts, so if he thinks a player worths a pick, so be it. The only pick I do not understand is picking a second guard instead of for example a corner. Why didn't he pick a corner, when there were plenty of top talents available? I can't think of anything else than for some reason each of them were low on his board for whatever reason we do not know of (health, character issue, not system fit, who knows).

The other thing bothers me a bit is that Leonard and Turay have a fair share of injury history. I'm a bit worried if they will be able to stay healthy in the NFL....

That question I can answer it don't matter how good your secondary is , If you have no pass rush they are mediocre at best. That's why he didn't hit on a corner .

I disagree.   This was a playoff atmosphere game at home.   For confidence reasons alone it was an important game.   On paper it is only 1 loss to a team in the other conference, but it was a big game for this team.

I agree to an extent , however this team is growing and with that go growing pains . They are still learning how to play with each other . They have the right team attitude they will grow from this loss . If you think their confidence is shattered you would be wrong on that point.

Say whatever you want about PG, his elite defense is still apparent.

True he can do it but will not night in night out , we by far got the best of the trade and will pay dividends in the future. We play as a team , not around an individual . I will take team and a good locker room anyday , with people that believe in one another .

To have Sabonis and Myles Turner...both at age 21..........

TJ isn't even that.....Oladipo is still just 25.....and we have rookies we haven't seen yet

Good point , the upside of that is the rookies are very young and don't have to be forced in letting them grow and take things in. Those rookies have talent , were they NBA ready probably not really but down the road I think they will fit nicely.

Pacers are better than I thought they would be but it's still early. I do like the small sample I see so far though. Dipo or Turner may make the All-Star team and our Role players are meshing beautifully.

And boy are they fun to watch . A young team and they are going to grow. I really think they have a good upside. Will be interesting where Robinson fits when he is back to strength.

Someone replied saying the events of today are in response to Trump.....

Maybe the NFL should chose a different method to protest against the President. Using a disrespectful method of protest is still wrong, whether you use to send a message to the President, or to the Nation for some other reason of protest like with Kapernick or other players are in who support of any PERSONAL position.

Using the National Anthem or the Flag on TELEVISION may be getting attention to your message or to the President,  does not mean it is right (Jim Irsay, Disrespectful Players, Commissioner, NFL as a Whole). The actions are still disrespecting a Symbol of the USA and its core values and beliefs of what made this Country and its Constitution. Oh and BTW, you are also disrespecting ME and all those men and women that have sacrificed like me in support of the FREEDOMS YOU ENJOY!!

So maybe YOU (NFL ANYONE) should do a sit-in on the field that is NOT during the National Anthem, or walk out of the game and forfeit if it is so important to them. Oh Yeah, that would cost you money. And it is ok to respect MONEY, but not THIS NATION! RIGHT? Why don't those of you who want to protest, do like the rest of the Nation. Take off work and visit Washington DC to promote a march or protest in front of the White House. That way YOU make YOUR point and QUIT TAKING MY COUNTRY for Granted!!!

The ENTIRE NFL can take their disrespect of the USA to somewhere else and not here. I do not and will not support them anymore until they learn this is MY COUNTRY TOO !!!

I hear you Brother , I to served in the USMC so these people could use their stage which let me remind everyone we the FANS pay for with our hard earned money not MR Irsay , without us he doesn't have a stadium and probably never will again at least not here . Its funny the players have free speech , but we even in this Forum don't lol shows just how much we rate . I love my country and I will show you we don't have those freedoms , because even more than my country I LOVE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST . Now lets see how free my speech is !

Brissett is probably one of the best backup quarterbacks in the league even as of right now.  I can't think of a better situation to have behind your starter outside of maybe Garrapolo.   The only thing that's missing is a better grasp on the playbook I think.  He's got starter level talent.

I agree and I didn't cringe everytime he dropped back expecting the worse
