  1. Hi,  Colts fans!   :)  A battle of  AFC teams plague by internal player injuries through the 2017 NFL season, showcase tonight on the NFL weekly Thursday Night Football coverage in tonight's 27th all-time meeting. Kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building is by 8:25PM Eastern Standard Time.

Both the Colts and Broncos are coming off their last games played on Sunday, and both teams have also adjusted and prepared their short practice schedule to acomodate TNF.

Both Indianapolis and Denver are tied each with 13 games apiece, including 3 postseason games, with the winner having the one-game lead in the series. Colts are also 3-0 in postseason games played after the 2003, 2004, and 2014 NFL season, along with 10 regular season games.

Last time the Colts and Broncos played at LOS,  it was Peyton's Manning's last full season as an NFL player but the opposing team, the Denver Broncos, hence, the 'Manning Bowl,' played  back on November 8, 2015. However, Adam Vinitieri's 55-yard field goal with 6:13 remaining in the fourth quarter, helped Indianapolis edge Denver 27-24.

Andrew Luck  and Peyton Manning each completed identical 21 of their  36 passes,  two touchdowns, and  1 sack. Luck threw 252 yards, and 0 interceptions, while Manning 281 yards, but 2 INT's.

Denver though defeated Indianapolis 34-20 at both teams last meeting, played at Sports Authority Field At Mile High, back on September 18, 2016.

Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Heather Cox, for NBC's Network's over-the-air  coverage of The NFL's Thursday Night Football coverage, along with The NFL Network, and Amazon Prime Video are all simulcasting tonight's primetime matchup between the Broncos and Colts, including locally WTHR  NBC Channel 13 in Indianapolis, and in your personal devices including your laptop, iPad, and smartphone  through the NFL app provided by Verizon, all media seen live on HD.

  2. Low scoring game, Mother Nature always wins. Of course I want the Colts to win, but at the same time see no injuries by both teams. I knew there is snow, but O didn’t expect the fog would have an impact on visibility in this game. NFL should have scheduled this in September!

  3. Greetings, Colts Nation!  :) .  A game and battle of two teams playing out their 2017 NFL season at Western New York State, as our 3-9 Indianapolis Colts, are in Orchard Park, southeast of Buffalo, to play the Bills, in today's 69th all-time meeting.

Colts seek to win their first regular season road game at Buffalo in 14 years.  Edgerrin James scored his 1-yard touchdown run, followed by Peyton Manning's two-point pass play conversion to James Mungro, with 1:38 left in the fourth quarter, helped the Colts recent win at Buffalo by the score of 17-14 at then-named Ralph Wilson Stadium, back on November 23, 2003.

Buffalo also defeated Indianapolis in both teams recent meeting also played at Orchard Park more than two years ago, with the Bills prevailing 27-14, back on opening week of the regular season on September 13, 2015.

Bills though leads the all-time regular season series with  36 wins, 31 losses, and 1 tie, the tie occuring on both teams first meeting after the AFL-NFL merger, the score 17-178, and played at Baltimore Memorial Stadium back on November 15, 1970.

Regional outside elements, especially the gusty eastern arctic winds from Lake Erie, may definitely have an impact on both teams performance and results on the playing field, as the cloudy skies and snow is the game forecast inside New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 75% precipitation, 63% humidity, and west/northwest winds at 18 miles per hour.

NO injuries, Continue To Play With Pride And Colts Strong Remaining in Your 2017 NFL Season Starting This Afternoon, and GO COLTS!!!!!    :coltslogo:  :1colts:    :colts:   :coltslogo:

  4. With Jaguars defeating our Colts 30-10 earlier in the afternoon, Indianapoliis may have eliminated themselves fro  playoff contention with their 3-9 record with four games remaining.

To me, the rest of this season is temporary setback, the Colts have a chance to rise back to excellence next season and the years ahead.  I feel the Colts are playing the best they can with the payers and talent they have.

Patriot also gave a beatdown to the Buffalo Bills, the Colts next opponent 23-3 today.  Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was indeed carted offf the field, and we may Nathan Peterman in his place next Sunday, when the Colts travel to Orchard Park next Sunday.

  5. Greetings, Colts Nation!  :)   Our 3-8 Indianapolis Colts are still maththematically alive to be in the hunt for an AFC Wild Card spot, as they made their annual 700 mile trip south in Jacksonville, Florida to play their annual rematch with the improved, 7-4 and second place Jaguars.  A win by the Jaguars could virtually eliminate the Colts from 2017 NFL playoff contention.

Player injuries that is part of football also unfortunately played a big part  of the Colts, made them below team expecttions with their  current 3-8 record, and progress of their 2017 NFL season.  Andrew Luck never shoulder injury never healed in time for him to be game ready this season, and Luck leads the list of Colts players placed on injury reserve, including Robert Turbin, Jack Mewhort, Quin Bray, George Winn, and Eric Swoope.

TE  Darren Daniels, C Ryan Kelly, CB Rashan Melvin, and DT Hassan Ridgeway are ruled out for the Jaguars game, while WR Donte Moncrief is questionable and game time decision, as he recovers from his groin injury.

Colts last week promoted  WR K.C. Brent, and C Anthony Fabiano from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster.

Indianapolis leads the all-time regular season series in Sunday afternoon's 34th regular season meeting with 22 wins and 11 losses.  Colts will also try to defeat the Jaguars in EverBank Field in more than three years, when a healthy Andrew Luck led the Colts with a 44-17 victory,  Luck  completed 31 of his 39 passes for 370 yards, threw 4 touchdowns, and 0 INT's.

Let's hope Chuck Pagano, QB Jacoby Brisset, and the rest of the Colts players, can try to win game #4 without injuries to the players, and GO COLTS!!!  :coltslogo:   :1colts:   :colts:   :coltslogo:     :coltshelmet:

  6. Hi, Colts fans!  :)   The absence of Andrew Luck's presence continues to be felt all season, as our 3-7 Indianapolis Colts return from their Week 11 bye week, and  host the visiting, and 6-4, second place  Tennessee Titans in the first rematch this 2017 NFL regular season with an AFC South divisional opponent.

Colts QB Jacoby Brissett, has cleared concussion protocol, and also is cleared and expected to start Sunday against the Titans.

The resurging Titans ended the Colts 11-game regular season winning streak  over Tennessee, by defeating our Colts 36-22, during ESPN's Monday Night Football,   at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, in both teams earlier meeting back on October 16, 2017.

Despite the Colts losing record this year, Tennessee has  yet to win a regular season road game at Indianapolis in almost 10 years, and also have not yet, won a regular season road game,  since the Colts started playing their home games at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building) in 2009.  Titans last defeated the Colts  16-10 at the RCA Dome, in the season finale, back on December 30, 2007.

Indianpolis has  also won twice as many games over Tennessee in their divisional head-to-head rivalry, including one postseason game (Titans 19-16 win in 2000) with 31 wins and 15 losses, in Sunday's 47th all-time meeting.

Chris Myers and former Dallas Cowboys fullback Daryl Johnston are announcing the live TV game commentary for The NFL On FOX, seen regionally, and locally on WXIN Fox Channel 59, seen live on HD.

LOS's roof and glass doors is open, for Sunday afternoon's 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because sunny and clear skies at 44 degrees, feels like 40 degrees, is the game forecast outside the stadium in Downtown Indianapolis.

Lead Referee Craig Wrolstad leads his officiating crew assigned by the NFL offices in New York City, to supervise the game action on the playing field, between the Colts and Titans.

NO injuries, try to win your fourth game in 2017, continue to stay Colts Strong, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!      :cheer:  :coltslogo:     :1colts:    :colts:    :coltslogo:  :cheer:

  7. Hi, Colts fans!  :)  Our Indianapolis Colts  begin the second half of their 2017 NFL regular season, as they host the visiting, and AFC North diviision leaders at 6-2, Pittsburgh Steelers a LOS (the building)  tin today's 30th all-time meeting, including 24 regular season, and 5 postseason games.

Jacoby Brisset and backup Scott Tolzien will lead the Colts at QB  the rest of the 2017 NFL regular season after Andrew Luck was placed on season ending injured reserve because of his slow-healing shoulder injury following surgery, dating back to December 2016.

Indianapolis will try to both defeat Pittsburgh for the first time since the Colts started playing their games at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2009.  Colts last home win over the Steelers was 12 years ago, when Indianapolis defeated Pittsburgh 26-7  at the RCA Dome, back on November 28, 2005.  Colts also has won only  one of the seven previous meetings beginning with the 2005 AFC  Wild Card Playoff Game in January 2006, and are on  current five-game losing streak with the Steelers entering today.

Peyton Manning threw the game winning, 17-yard  touchdown pass to Dominic Rhodes for the Colts with 3:04 remaining in the fourth quarter, along with  an Adam Vinitieri PAT, to defeat the Steelers 24-20, for the Colts last regular season victory, and played at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, back on November 9, 2008.

Colts are technically,  and still mathematically,  alive for a Wild Card Playoff berth  despite their 3-6 record, one record better than the 0-9 Cleveland Browns, but  after 10 weeks are 2 1.2 games behind the Wild Card.    Andrew Luck's  absence from as an active player and on the playing field, and injuries within the team are major reasons the Colts have their current record as the start Week 10 game action, of the NFL's enduring 16-game regular season.

Indianapolis also have a daunting task to defeat Pittsburgh today as the Colts  have only won 6 of the previous 23 games since the rivalry began 67 years ago, when the Steelers defeated the Baltimore  Colts 17-7, in both teams first regular season meeting, played at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, back on November 12, 1950.

Colts were also 0-5 to the Steelers in   AFC Playoff games, in 1975 and 1976 during the Bert Jones era, 1996, and 2006.

NO injuries, go for win #4 before your start your bye week, and  in front of  your Colts fans,  continue to stay Colts Strong, defeat the

Steelers Nation present at LOS, and LET'S GO COLTS!    :cheer: :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :coltshelmet: :coltslogo:   :cheer:

  8. Hi, Colts fans!   :)    An AFC South battle where both teams star players suffered injuries, as out  2-6  Indianapolis Colts travel to play the 3-4 Houston Texans.

Both teams have lost their quarterbacks in the past week.  Colts QB Andrew Luck had surgery after the 2016 off-season to repair his right shoulder.  Since then Luck was held out of training camp and from participating in any games because the healing process is still taking longer than expected.  After a brief practice, the Colts decided to place Luck on injured reserve, making him unavaillable for the rest of the 2017 NFL season.

Luck recently signed a six-year, $140 year extension, with $87 million guaranteed to stay and play the Colts back on June 29, 2016, and just prior to his surgery, missed one game because of a concussion.

Texans will also lose their rising rookie Deshaun Watson, who tore his ACL on a non-contact play during team practice last week, which prematurely ended his season,  Watson already earned and was awarded both AFC Offensive Player Of The Month, and NFL Offensive Rookie of The Month in October, and would have been in the running for the NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year without his torn ACL injury.

Colts will also not see Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, left the game after Week 5 with a tibial plateau fracture in his left leg and is out for the season.  Watt also had a previous surgery for a herniated disk, and he was also place on injured reserve in 2016.

Jacoby Brissett and Tom Savage will be the starting QB's for both the Colts and the Texans for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff from NRG Stadium.

Indianapolis still leads the all-time regular season series with 23 wins and 7 losses in today's 31st divisional meeting, but are on a three-game losing streak over Houston, and seek to win the ir first road game at the Texans since the Colts 27-20 road win back on October 2015.

NO injuries, go for win #3, and GO COLTS!!!!!   :coltslogo: .   :1colts:     :colts:   :coltslogo:

  9. Hi, Colts fans!   :)  A battle of two win teams as our Colts take the 113 mile trip southeast down Interstate 74 to play the Cincinnati Bengals, ifor the first time in three years, in both teams 30th all-time meeting.  Indianapolis leads the all-time series entering today with a 19 win, 10 loss record, including 27 regular season, and two postseason games.

Colts  won the last two games, first defeating the Bengals 26-10 in their last meeting in the AFC Wild Card Playoff Game.  back on January 4, 2015, and their last regular season meeting, shutting out Cincinnati 27-0 back on November 19, 2014.  Both games were played at LOS (the building) with a combined score of  53-10.

Indianapolis also is seeking their first regular season road win in Cincinnati in 12 years, since the Colts  defeated the Bengals by the score of 45-37 in Cincinnati back on November 20, 2005.  Peyton Manning completed 24 of his 40 passes for 365 yards, 3 TD's, and 1 INT in that game.

Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta are announcing the live TV commentary for The NFL On CBS's early regional singleheader game, seen primarily in Ilinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, and in Indianapolis on WTTV CBS Channel 4, all stations seen live on HD.

Both the Colts and the Bengals will be  exposed to the cold outside elements during their game inside Paul Brown Stadium for their 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because partly cloudy skies  at 42 degrees, feels like 37 degrees is the game forecast, along with  0% precipitation, 60% humidity, and northwest winds at 9 miles per hour.

Head Referee Jerome Boger and his officiating crew are assigned by the NFL to supervise the game action between thre Colts and the Bengals this afternoon at PBS.

NO injuries, Let's see the Colts try to win their third game of the season, end their two game losing streak, and win by more than three points for the first time in their 2017 NFL regular season. Colts running back Robert Turbin is out with his elbow injury, so a possibility rookie RB Marion Mack may get increased playing time in the backfield along with Frank Gore.

Colts defense will be busy containing Jaguars rookie RB Leonard Fournette, who had breakout games the last two weeks, with a win at the Steelers, but a Jaguars home loss to the L.A. Rams last Sunday.

  13. Hi, Colts Nation!   :)   Our 1-3 Indianapolis Colts continue honoring former Colts QB Peyton Manning as our Colts host the visiting and winless, 0-4 San Francisco 49ers  at LOS (the building).   49ers are in a rebuilding mode, with new General Manager John Lynch, and new Head Coach Kyle Shanahan.  Colts are  alsoplaying their third NFC West divisional opponent in five games.

Retired Colts legend Peyton Manning  earlier this weekend was immortalized with a bronze statue in front of LOS,  honoring his accomplishments as a Colt.  #18 played 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, and won Super Bowl Championships with both Super Bowl XLI  (41) for the Colts, and Super Bowl L (50) for the Denver Broncos.  Manning will also be honored i for his accomplishments as a Colt in today's game, and ahead for him his induction into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio in the first ballot.

Current Colts incumbent QB Andrew Luck  also returned to practice last week, but Jacoby Brissett still starts for the Colts vs. the 49ers, while Andrew watches from the sidelines.

Today, current third-year Colts running back Frank Gore also plays his first game facing his former team, the 49ers.  Gore played for San Francisco between 2005 through 2015, and was named five times into the Pro Bowl, a second team Pro Bowler while he was a 49er.

Today current third-year Colts running back Frank Gore also plays his first game facing his former team, the 49ers.  Gore played for San Francisco between 2005 through 2015, and was named five times into the Pro Bowl, a second team Pro Bowler while he was a 49er.

Gore also helped San Francisco to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, but the Baltimore Ravens defeated his 49ers 34-31.
