First NFL Game Day of the regular season has finally arrived, Colts fans! Our Indianapolis Colts begin both their 66th regular season, and also 35th year in the City Of Indianapolis, in the NFL.
Many changes in personnel occurred in the past off-season, in the watch and guidance of Colts Team Owner Jim Irsay. Second-year General Manager Chris Ballard hired former NFL QB and coaching journeyman Frank Reich as the Colts Head Coach, and a healthy Andrew Luck brings both encouragement and hope in the Colts 2018 NFL Regular Season.
Colts both seek to rebound from their disappointing 4-12 regular season record in 2017, and reach the playoffs since the Colts were the AFC South Division Champions with 11-5 regular season records in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Andrew Luck was on the injured reserve list the entire 2017 NFL season because of his recurring shoulder injury. Scott Tolzien started the first game for Indianapolis at the L.A. Rams, before the Colts traded for Jacoby Brissett from the Patriots.
QuoteAndrew will start at QB for the Colts against the Bengals this Sunday afternoon. Today would be first Luck since the November 8, 2015, home game against the Denver Broncos, where he outplayed Peyton Manning for a 27-24 Colts victory. He was hospitalized with a lacerated kidney and an abdominal injury four days later.
Lucas Oil Stadium's roof should be closed to keep everyone inside dry for this afternoon's 2018 season and home opener, because the game forecast outside the stadium area in downtown Indianapolis is cloudy skies with showers at 61 degrees, feels like 59 degrees, 45% precipitation, 89% humidity, and northeast winds at 12 miles per hour.
Head Linesman Pete Morelli leads his officiating crew assigned from the NFL Offices in New York City, to supervise the field and game action between the Colts and Bengals.
NO injuries, win your first regular season game, and the sweep over the visiting Bengals, and GO COLTS!!!!!

I have not seen one yet, these coverage maps only apply to NFL, and even College Football and MLB games in the US. You may have to PM/Tweet the guy who posts on 506 Sports (506 is the area code for New Brunswick).

Thanks for coming to The Colts Game Day Forum for the final NFL Preseason Game in 2018, finally on tonight, Colts Nation! Our Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals play the first of two games in the next 11 days.
Colts are in Cincinnati tonight to play their preseason finale with the Bengals, and with a win, can finish their record at 3-1.
All NFL teams traditionally play their fourth and final preseason games, except the Hall-Of-Fame-Game, in the last Thursday Night in August.
Bengals come back up across Interstate 74 northwest when they play the rematch when the results count for the regular season opener on September 9.
Colts and the Bengals, will sideline their veteran starters, and save them for play in the upcoming regular season, as tonight most of the veteran reserves and free agent players, and drafted and signed college players not selected in the recent 2018 NFL Draft, try to advance themselves from the 90-man training camp roster, to impress the coaches and fans, and make the final 53-man regular season roster.
Colts, and the rest of the NFL teams later must meet the mandate 53-man regular season roster by 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on September 1.
Colts and NFL teams on the following day can staff their 10-man practice squad as early, and after as 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
Mostly cloudy skies at 80 degrees, feels like 86 degrees, is the game forecast inside Paul Brown Stadium, for tonight's 7:05 PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 5% precipitation, 70% humidity, and mild northern winds at 5 miles per hour.
NO injuries, great luck on the players making the final 53-man roster with these same Bengals on Opening Week 1 on September 9, at the real LOS, and GO COLTS!!!!!

Great 23-17 win by the Colts yesterday. Though only the third preseason game, Colts outdueled the 49ers, especially Jimmy Garafallo and Alfred Morris.
Colts rookie Mike Badgeley contributing most of the game scoring with his five field goals and two PAT's, along with the two ouchdowns by Christine Michael, and the pass play from Andrew Luck to Eric Ebron.
Now the pressure begins to the next level, as the reserve players, undrafted rookies, and free agents, prepare for the last preseason game in less than a week. Colts and all the NFL teams management, players, and coaching staffs, will start as early as Thursday Night, the radical cutdown, and even trades through the waiver wire, from the current 90-man training camp roster, to the final 53-man regular season roster next weekend.
All Week 4 Preseason Games by NFL Teams also usually plays on the last Thursday Night in August. Colts prepare twice for the I=74 series with the Cincinnati Bengals in both Paul Brown Stadium, and Lucas Oil Stadium for the Regular Season Opener on September 9.
Great luck to the Colts, and the rest of the NFL players making the final cut after Thursday, and the Colts will try to finish their 2018 NFL preseason at 3-1 from The Queen City. We'll see all of you here in the Colts Game Day Forum on Thursday, and GO COLTS!!!!!

A few elements on this Colts and NFL games I'm watching a little closely this season is the helmet rule, and the revised formation in punt returns, and even kickoff returns, both to enhance player safety.

Hi, Colts fans! A battle of 1-1 NFL teams, as our Indianapolis Colts host the visiting San Francisco 49ers in only the second preseason game ever played between the teams.
Colts will try to avoid another preseason embarassment the last time San Francisco visited Indianapolis in both teams first meeting played eight years ago from in the real Lucas Oil Stadium. 49ers QB David Carr led with his 9/11 yards for 98 yards and 1 touchdown, for their 37-17 win over Colts at the real Lucas Oil Stadium, to start both the Colts 2010 NFL and preseason back on August 15, 2010.
Colts and 49ers amazingly in their team histories, besides only playing two preseason games including today, have also have yet to play a scheduled preseason road game in San Francisco in 68 years, since both Indianapolis and San Francisco each entered the NFL back in 1950.
Though today is only a preseason game, our Colts lead the all-time regular season series after 45 meetings with 26 wins and 19 losses. Colts also in their history won 15 out of 16 games, winning 13 games straight, between December 1961 through October 1968.
Colts kicker Adam Vinitieri kicked the game winning, 51-yard field goal, with 8:22 remaining in overtime to defeat 49ers 26-22 in both teams last meeting, played at LOS, back on October 8, 2017. The win earns Indianapolis a four-game winning streak following previous regular season wins back on 2015, 2009, 2013, and 2017.
Lucas Oil Stadiums roof should be closed for this afternoon's 4:35PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because scattered thunderstorms and partly cloudy skies at 78 degrees, feels like 82 degrees, is the game forecast outside the stadium area, along with 40% precipitation, 40% humidity, and southwestern winds at 13 miles per hour.
NO injuries, great luck to the players who are trying the make the final cut tho the upcoming 53-man roster, from the current 90-man training camp roster, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!

Welcome back, Colts Nation! Our Indianapolis Colts continue the 2018 preseason, as they host the visiting Baltimore Ravens, as both teams conclude the Week 2 schedule of the NFL Preseason.
Our Colts concluded their 2018 Training Camp at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, where they held team training camp since July 26. Andrew Luck's complete recovery from his recent shoulder surgery, and his physical rehab, reportedly has him on track to start on Opening Week in the 2018 NFL Season, in almost two years vs. the Bengals.
Ravens have also arrived at Indiana to participate in their joint practices with, the Colts Training Camp at the Grand Park Sports Campus since Tuesday. Both teams not only are playing for real tonight in an NFL, but most of the players, particularly the reserves, and including the college players not selected, and signed after the recent 2018 NFL Draft, and veteran free agents, play tonight in game conditions to impress their coaching staffs to try to make the final cut to the final 53-man regular season roster, from the current 90-man preseason roster.
Last week's joint practice with the Colts and Ravens, also means the reacquatinance of the the two QB's and selection from the 2012 NFL Draft. #1 Overall Draft Pick Andrew Luck has been a Colt player the past six seasons, while #2 2012 NFL Draft Pick Robert Griffin III, who also was the 2011 Heisman Trophy winner, was drafted by the Redskins, signed with the Browns, and now the Ravens as a free agent after a one-year absence.
Both Luck and RGIII are only meeting the second time ever in an NFL game, both games including tonight during the preseason. RGIII and Luck dueled at QB on opposing offenses, and RGIII's Redskins defeated Luck's Colts 30-17 at FedEx Field in Landover, MD, back on August 25, 2012.
Colts, all the NFL teams, and even the field officials collectively, are in an ongoing basis, continuing and adjusting to the new helmet, and punt/kickoff return, among the many new rules that were voted by the NFL executives and owners, during the league meetings this past off season, and will be out for all to see during tonight's Colts/Ravens preseason contest.
Colts and Ravens also played in a preseason game also two years ago and played at LOS back on August 20, 2018. Ravens DB Anthony Levine intercepted, and scored a defensive two-point conversion from Colts QB Stephen Morris, after Morris threw a 7-yard TD pass to running back Trey Morris on the play prior, to make the game score 18-17 with 4:27 left in the fourth quarter. Levine's INT made the final score 19-18.
ESPN's new Monday Night Football's TV broadcasting team for the 2018 NFL Season of Joe Tessitore, recently retired Dallas Cowboys Tight End Jason Whiten, and Anthony Darelle 'Booger' McFarland, are announcing . tonight's Colts/Ravens preseason contest, along with sideline reporter Lisa Salters, with kickoff from the real Lucas Oil Stadium, right after 8:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
Long-time Colts radio play-by play announcer Bob Lamey also decided to retire from his stellar broadcasting career, despite signing his one-year contract, and after and into, one Colts preseason game announced from Seattle earlier in August. Matt Taylor will announce the play on an interim basis, joining former Colts QB Jim Sorgi in the booth, and they can be heard on WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070 AM, WLHK 'The Hank" Country 98.1FM, and The Colts Radio Network, beginning with the Pregame coverage at 7:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
NO injuries, we wish great luck to the Colts, and all NFL teams make the final 53-man roster after preseason. Protect And Defend Your 'Stable,' - Lucas Oil Stadium,. Stay True To The Blue, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!

Clear skies at 75 degrees is the local game forecast inside CenturyLink Field for the 10:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with mild northern winds at 4 miles per hour.

Hi, Colts fans! NFL Draft night is finally here. Our Indianapolis Colts and the 31 other NFL teams will start drafting players, and the drama begins, in the 2018 NFL Draft from AT&T Stadium right after 8:00PM Eastern Time, and through Sunday afternoon. Cleveland Browns are on the clock, launching the 2018 NFL Draft with their #1 overall pick, in light of their 0-16, 2017 NFL Regular Season Record.
This year the Colts own nine draft picks, with additional picks acquired earlier, when the Colts agreed to drop down from #3, to #6 overall with the New York Jets. Immediate needs include a defensive lineman, linebacker, offensive lineman, and wide receiver.
We wish Jim Irsay, General Manager Chris Ballard, Head Coach Frank Reich, and the the Colts coaching, and college scouting scouts. do their strategy from their war room during the 2018 NFL Draft.

Happy New Year, Colts fans! But not as entirelyhappy for our loyal and devoted Indianapolis Colts fans, to start 2018 before New Year's Eve, especially here on the Colts Fan Friendly Forum, as our 3-12 Indianapolis Colts will try to conclude their 2017 NFL Season by winning their fourth game with the visiting, and 4-11 Houston Texans.
Both the Colts and Texans have suffered injuries to their starting and veteran players, throughout the 2017 NFL season, and reflects on both teams records. As examples, the Texans lost star players J.J. Watt and rookie QB DeShaun Watson, at the time was on his way to earning NFL Offensive Rookie Of the Year accolades. Colts suffered more players to injured reserve, notably Andrew Luck. Luck spent this season rehabilitating in Europe, and he indicates he should and be ready physically to play be training camp.
With a win, Colts could finish 2017 with a 4-12 record, last accomplishing during their 1993 NFL season. However, a Colts loss would also finish Indianapolis as they have achieved in consecutive seasons in both 1997 and 1998, before the Colts drafted Peyton Manning, with consecutive 3-13 records.
If there is any added incentive in this afternoon's season finale, the Colts by far have the best winning percentage over the Texans over any NFL opponent entering today with a 24 win, and 7 loss record, a winning percentage of .774, and in today's 32nd regular season meeting.
Indianapolis also defeated Houston to end their three-game losing streak in their last meeting played at NRG Stadium. Jacoby Brisset threw to touchdowns passes, from 45 yards and 80 yards, to T.Y. Hilton, and Adam Vinitieri also added his two field goals from 22 and 53 yards, plaus his 2 PAT's to help the Colts defeat the Texans back on November 5.
Just a temporary setback for our Colts team, and the Colts will try on a clean slate in 2018, to see both return of Andrew Luck and their level of excellence and talent to return to the NFL Playoffs for the first time since January 2014.
Thanks for entertaining us, try to win one more game in front of your fans at LOS, and GO COLTS!!!!! .

Colts (only) down by 3 points after 3 quarters. Man, it's raining, drissling, and moist and COLD at the M&T Bank Stadium. Those teams, people and fans should be credited exposed to the outside elements.

Hi, Colts Nation. Our 3-11 Indianapolis Colts will try to play spoilers this afternoon, as they are in Baltimore in their last scheduled regular season road game, to play the 8-6 Baltimore Ravens. Our Colts will still try to thwart the Ravens, from earning a road win from Baltimore, and also avoid the Ravens from qualifying in the 2017 NFL Playoffs. Both the Colts and Ravens also lead off Week 16, the next-to-the-week, of the 2017 NFL Regular Season.
Colts defeated Baltimore by the score of 20-13, in both teams last meeting played at LOS (the building), back on October 5, 2014. Andrew Luck completed 32 of his 49 passes for 312 yards, one touchdown pass to Dwayne Allen from 6 yards, and Luck scored on a 13-yard TD run. Adam Vinitieri completed the completed the game scoring for the Colts with his 38-yard field goal in the first quarter,, and his 2 PAT's.
Colts have also been decimated by injuries by many veteran players and rookies since the preseason, leading and contributing to their current 3-11 record.
Colts also seeks to win their first regular season game at Baltimore in more than eight years. Matt Stover kicked his game-winning 25 yard field goal, with 7:02 remaining in the fourth quarter, to help Indianapolis edge Baltimore 17-15 at M&T Bank Stadium back on November 22, 2009.
Indianapolis also leads Baltimore in today's 15th all-time meeting with a 10 win and 4 loss record, including 11 previous regular season games and 3 prior postseason games, since the Colts defeated Ravens 26-21, in both teams first meeting, played at the RCA Dome back on October 13, 1996.
Our Colts are on track unfortunately to suffer their worst regular season record since the 2011 Indianapolis Colts finished with their 2-14 record, the primary shortcoming when Peyton Manning was placed on injured reserved that year with his neck surgeries, Dan Orlovsky, Curtis Painter, and Kerry Collins had various starts that season in place of Peyton at QB.
Colts both will try to avoid today finishing with a three-win NFLregular season, since consecutive 3-13 seasons back on 1997 and 1998.
This year, Jacoby Brisset took most of the snaps behind center after being acquired by the Patriots before the start of the regular season, with Scott Tolzien as his backup. Incumbent Andrew Luck reportedly is rehabilitating from his shoulder surgery in Europe. Beside the current 2017 NFL regular season, Andrew Luck has missed 26 of the last 48 games, both preseason and regular season, dating back to the 2015 NFL season.
Greg Gumbel and former NFL QB Trent Green, are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Jamie Ehrdahl, simulcast on both The NFL On CBS, and international cable on the NFL Network. However, the Colts @ Ravens Saturday Afternoon NFL Game will be seen over the air on the local teams markets, both at WJZ CBS Channel 13 in Baltimore, and locally in Indianapolis on WTTV CBS Channel 4. live on HD.
A mix of showers and rain 61 degrees, feels like 58 degrees, is the live game forecast inside M&T Bank Stadium, for the 4:35PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 45% precipitation, 71% humidity, and southwest winds at 18 miles per hour.
I still want to try to shed some light, and remind all of you, that this will always be the holiday season at this time of year in December, and I personally wish everyone, from Nadine The Colts Fan forum Administrator, on to the other moderators, and especially to our registered users and members here on the Official Indianapolis Colts Fan (Friendly) Forum, the best of your Merry Christmas holidays, with your close family members, relatives, and close friends!
NO injuries, continue to stay Colts Strong, try to both win your fourth game of the 2017 regular season this afternoon, and also spoil the Ravens postseason chances in Baltimore, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!
