Asking people sarcastic questions like this one:
Do you know why adults always ask little kids what do you wanna be when they grow up? They are looking for ideas about possible career choices themselves. HA! HA!

Now, Mr. Whiley always refers to himself in the 3rd person. Bob hates this. Bob loves that sort of thing. Also, another forum member, Blood ON The Tracks, informed me that a character on "Seinfeld" named "Jimmy" used this comedic device first.</div><div> </div><div>Why do I do this? Simple really. I always thought that speaking in the 3rd person is a great comical device to act as though a person is observing life's events from a distance above it all like a near death experience almost as if you are watching someone else live vicariously through you. In a nutshell, I am paying homage to Bob & Jimmy because I have a fondness for brilliant comedians that make you think & are kind of like the protest singers of my generation George Carlin, Bill Maher etc. etc.</div>

  1. Earlier today, I was sent a new Digital Video Recorder from Dish TV since my old one died. UPS drops of the package, I put the old DVR in the box, place the free mailing label on it, & then I notice the label is a Fed EX label. Does that make any sense? UPS drops it off, but I must send the DVR back thru Fed EX?

location than the new one was sent from, and Dish simply chose the cheapest route for each trip. (And HCF, it's free to SW, not to Dish. Nothing ships for free.)

" it's free to SW, not to Dish. Nothing ships for free.) " True Mac. Just out of curiosity, I took the old DVR to a place for pickup without realizing that the location in question only picks up UPS packages. I had people at this location weigh the box just to see how much the postage would cost. $18.75. Yup, there's no such thing as a free lunch these days is there MAC. HA! HA!

Could have to do with inbound rates vs. outbound rates. Mac makes a good point....returns usually go to a totally different location/facility. There are some other odd reasons such as rates. Even though they are using each other...sometime with as many shipments returned, the FedEx rate may actually be free.....amazing how that can happen with multiple shipments/rating.
