  1. well that was a fun weekend of football!

  2. OUCH! Just heard! Get well soon Andrew! It is just a game after all, health has to be first!

      Heal up Andrew, Health first!

  3. Thank you Talib!

      southwest1

I can't believe Talib did that. He walks right up to Allen & pokes him in the eye with zero hesitation at all. Dude, don't threaten our TEs livelihood like that. Shame on you sir. That's unacceptable & below the belt man.

      MIColtsFan

It was odd wasn't it? lucky for Colts though, sure was big help, LOL! He was fined too.

  4. Down by 20 at the 2 minute warning before the half and they punt? That speaks volumes to me about this coaching staff and team.

  5. So many good things to that worked from the Pats game to focus on to help avoid the negative. Interesting game.

    1. southwest1

      southwest1

I agree MCF. INDY did several good things in that game & it's a shame the special teams blunder is all that many avid football fans will remember.

  6. Sounds like a missed a good and interesting game. I was travelling and missed a a whole weekend of football. Now if feel off and out of the loop.

    1. southwest1

      southwest1

No worries MCF. It's a l-o-n-g season so INDY has plenty of time to tinker & tweak a few things. My apologies for not replying sooner. I have to be in the mood to respond to Status Updates so if I don't answer immediately don't fret; I promise I will get back to my friends very soon. Keep contributing too MCF. I enjoy your slant on things.

  7. Does anyone have any experience with Game Pass? Love? Hate? Why?

    1. southwest1

      southwest1

I'm not sure what that even is, but good luck resolving your issue here. I'm happy to see you posting again MCF. Cool. :)

yea as long as you have high speed internet it works smoothly. Not sure how regular season version will work, but in preseason you could watch live games but when it went to commercial it was a blank screen.

Even Frosty the snowman said yesterday that this is 1 of the coldest winters he can remember when I asked him MCF & Chilly Willy, the cartoon penguin, backed Frosty up on that statement too. LOL! Just Kidding! :)

We had Winterfest here this weekend and it was too wintery for Winterfest! Tomorrow will be a 3rd day of school closure, yes it has already been announced and I need to hire someone to come move snow as I have no where to put anymore via shovel, plow or blower!!!

  9. so happy the SB teams are who I wanted.. 2 teams that the Colts beat this season!

  10. Denver defense getting it done..like said, no joke!

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Should be 34-3....23-3 instead....not complaining however...:)

    2. southwest1

      southwest1

They completely neutralized NE's "Blunt Force Trauma" with surgical precision. Nice!

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

I know Brent, I would of so enjoyed if they held NE to 3... eloquent SW1, eloquent!

  11. Peyton vs Brady all week media blitz, but they are forgetting that the Bronco defense is no joke! Bronco D vs Brady! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

little worried with Harris out who will take on Edelman, but I think they will prepare better for the run (Blount) than the Colts did and I'm looking forward to seeing if Phillips can crank it up and sac Brady! ready for a great game

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Peyton has the best offensive line protecting him in years & the only NE pass rusher that worries is Chandler Jones personally.

  12. Hello Colts Fans! I hope every stayed safe during the "polar vortex" we sure got hit hard here! my back is recovering from digging out! cannot wait for Saturday!

Good luck my friend. Sorry about your Chicago Bears, but on the plus side your Lions whipped Green Bay & played lights out. :)

    2. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

Lions are going up and Bears are going down! I like it though! Now if the Colts sort it out for play offs, I'll be a super happy fan!

nothing extravagant Nadine, dinner and cake with family and a sleep over with friends after watching Catching Fire. No big dresses or tiaras here! :) funny 100GFB and Brent!

  15. I love to see Donald Brown do so well, he is like a ghost when he sneaks through the middle

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

He has been a pleasure to watch, said his harshest critic from the past.

I'm glad he is turning it around! He is on his way up!

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

Yup, I was wrong about Brown. He's having a solid year. Donald deserves props for that.

  16. my number two favorite team = Lions. I think I can handle this one dismal loss. Onward and Upward! Go Colts!

I have always liked th Lions...good years and bad. I think it because I was so full and thankful at Thanksgiving that started the process :)

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

I'm with Brent on this one. I've always had a soft spot of affection for Detroit. Motown, the auto industry, blue collar labor, & a football team I have always liked even in the lean years. Let the fierce lion on the side of the helmet roar again. :D

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

You gotta have a few more favs from both AFC and NFC. I like the Bears too, but Lions trump them ..Colts will always trump all! I guess my second AFC = Ravens, but Broncos now with PM are earning a spot on my favs list.

  17. Never give in! I love this team's attitude! 18 point come back! Unbelievable!

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

That's what I am talkin' about!!!

It was a miraculous comeback no question. It's never over until the final 4th QTR clock says so MCF.

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

It reminded of when I was at the Miracle in Motor City game, hanging on to the last 2 seconds! I just love that they didn't get down and didn't quit playing every second. Yes it wasn't pretty, but they hung in there!

  18. I can't believe it has snowed twice before the leaves have dropped. Raking will be a challenge. On the bright side, the colorful trees against the white of the snow is simply stunning!

    1. alawai

      alawai

Have fun in the cold country! Really never thought about the white/snow background with the colors. Must be beautiful!

    2. T Y Goodbye

      T Y Goodbye

I wish it would snow here..today is supposed to be 84 degrees, with a low of 51...I would love to see the snow around the leaf colors.

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

I will post a few fall color picks from soccer last weekend, but I didn't get any with the snow, I wish I had, it was morning light too! darn!

    3. southwest1

      southwest1

"I hate the morning drive in the dark." --MCF It makes me wonder how citizens Alaska cope with 24 hours of darkness & 24 hours of light during the year. Wow...

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

lol SW1...I would not be a good citizen of Alaska, perhaps I'd join those who drink too much if it were dark all the time.

  20. WOW!!!!!!! That was fun. So many great plays, but #98 has my MVP vote for the game

    1. southwest1

      southwest1

One the INDY side, it was LB Jerrel Freeman. On the Denver side, it was WR Wes Welker.

    2. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

you know I have a crush on Robert! I love when he has a great game and is instrumental in changing momentum. Freeman was great too.

  21. I cannot help myself and keep it football...GO TIGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

HMMMM...looks rainy tonight. May be a late night or rain out. Regardless...1020 mph winds and dropping through the 50s to upper 40s. Boston and Detroit are used to it, so no team has that advantage.

    2. southwest1

      southwest1

Maybe actor Tom Selleck famous for playing "Magnum" on a popular 80's TV show needs to show up wearing D baseball cap in the stands for good luck MCF. Just a thought...

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

They need some kind of luck, Tigers flopped last night! Not again! they need finish it this year! Poor Avila, knee then face! ouch!

  22. that ridiculous hype commercial with "I'm coming home" playing and Peyton's good bye Indy speech reduced me to tears! And I thought I was over it!

"If it's been said that you can never go home again," does 18's return to INDY qualify as rebirth, reflection, & resurrection then?

    3. MAC

      MAC

FX: No, it's not just the Indy market. The Broncos have been getting absurd ratings all season. They are going to milk this for all it's worth.

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

you must of watched it FX, it does pull the heart strings, those guys are good at their jobs

  23. anyone else notice something seemed wrong from the get to? before game faces of Wayne and Luck did not look right, Reggie seemed upset all night and not himself.. weird game

I'd be mad too, if the game plan was to play to the strength of the Chargers defense and not the weakness.

    3. Insert Colts Pun Here

      Insert Colts Pun Here

One of the strangest games I've seen. We played like the anti-Colts.

    4. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

I know SW1, he is usually never like that, he looked stress and he even had words with some Chargers and he usually just ignores that stupid stuff..

  24. TY or Wayne, who to cover?

    1. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

Better cover them both...and Fleener...and Brown....DHB was not ready though :(

    2. southwest1

TY Hilton is definitely a superstar in the making. CF4L was right on the money about this. Bravo sir!

    3. MIColtsFan

fun when the defense can't decide who to cover...we got weapons for sure!

Bummer about the tough loss for the Soccer Assassins...Oh well, you win some; you lose some. It's cool. A homecoming dance is important so a less than stellar game performance once in awhile is okay. I hope your daughter had a nice time at homecoming.

    3. MIColtsFan

      MIColtsFan

well the assassins are not all together anymore, which is a bummer, kids playing on different clubs and all that. Still having fun though

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

The Soccer Assassins are no more? Shoot, it's like your favorite band splitting up & all the musicians pursue separate solo careers in the music industry. Alas, there is always a reunion tour. Just Kidding! It is cool that they are still friends & hang out together though MCF. :)
