In my opinion had the Colts stayed somewhat healthy they would still be playing. Of course it didn't help that Adam Vinietari was terrible and  Jacoby was just average the 2nd half of the season. It's frustrating to see the Texans and titans still playing when I know the Colts are better.   The colts beat 3 of the 4 teams left in the afc when healthy ( 2 on the road)  and they match up well vs Baltimore. Spy Lamar with Leonard.    This is for another topic but I truly believe if Andrew Luck had played they would be the number 2 seed at worse and be one of the favorites to win it all. This team was built and ready to win it all back in the summer.  So what is the solution ??   Obviously staying healthy,  average field goal kicker. Colts missed 15 kicks, opponents missed 1.  And get a consistent starting qb. Jacoby is not the answer. Do we really want rivers, or even Tom Brady. NO.  Derek Carr?  He checks down a lot.  Draft ? Like I said they are ready to win now.   If I am Jim irsay,  I am doing whatever it takes to get Andrew luck to play again. Of course make sure his heart is still in it with passion, but if it is you just get it done. Explain how the team really needs him and rely on him. Even if it's just for 1 year tell him. Get him back in the built all costs. He is a top 5 qb right now.

Well done but I don't think Luck wants in

I wouldn’t want any other guy GM’ing the Colts. I’ve said what could be construed as some anti-Ballard things recently (which isn’t my intention), but I think he’s far and away the best man for the job and hope he’s here for years to come.

Ballard was handed a roster from the great Ryan Grigson he is doing fine Maybe some of these fans want Grigson back:facepalm:.

The last 3 games you have failed to motivate your players. The last 3 games you have failed to adjust to the loss of TY Hilton. And for this entire year, you have failed to scheme for the strengths of this offense!

I remember more than one presser from you, Reich, where you talked about how fun it would be to scheme players like Cambell! I remember you saying things like "how many weapons this team has".

Well, scheme the damn players Reich! You have a top 20 QB remember saying that Reich? I sure as heck remember you saying that more than once. And a top 20 QB can throw the damn ball more than 15 yards! I also remember you saying that you have all the faith in the world in your QB Jacoby Brissett, and yet, you never have him throw it more than 15 yards to anyone but Pascal or TY.

So far this year, I am losing faith in your ability to include multiple players in the scheme that is down TY Hilton.

    Where is Doyle?

    Where is Ebron?

    Where is Hines?

    Where is Cambell?

Can Mack not catch a cold? I wouldnt know because you never tell Brissett to throw it to him. So when hes in there, there is at least a 60% to 70% chance we are running the ball! Stop allowing us to be one dimensional!

As far as I have seen, you have not changed your approach all year long, and I am extremely disappointed in you, and in your OC Nick!

Why has Ebron checked out? Answer me that Frank! Or are you "behind" all of your under achieving players?

If you continue like this for the rest of the year you have taken all the faith that your earned in 2018 and threw it down the trash chute!

Heres to a great remainder of the season! As always, Go Colts!

    *rant off*

    Perfect

That has to be one of the most pathetic performances I've seen from a colts Qb since the Curtis Painter era.

Can't blame the D.  Any time the D holds a team to 16 points they should expect to win the game.  This is 100% on the offense.

Those of you who are skeptical of Brissett, take a good look.  THIS is what a bad game by a QB looks like.  Exactly 0 of the "bad" games by Brissett are as awful against awful competition as Hoyer was in this game.  There is no way a healthy Brissett delivers a stinker of this magnitude.

If Brissett gets healthy next week we ought to be able to salvage the season, if not, please dear God let Ballard have the intestinal courage to overrule Reich and make sure that Kelly gets the start.  After this game it's clear that Hoyer is not a valid option to start a game and is a literal backup at best.

I expected some problems throwing the ball.  Hoyer never had much of an arm and he's on the back 9.  I did not expect the terrible decision making.  I don't know how much of that is Reich and how much is Hoyer and I hope we never find out.  I notice Brissett kill a few play calls a game from the sidelines and now I'm wondering how many times a game he bails out the overcautious Reich by insisting on a more aggressive playcall.

Wow, I'm steamed.  Mad, frustrated, furious.  Also salty.  There's no reason we should have lost that game.  A mix of bad execution at QB and quite frankly (and one should never EVER use this word to describe a Head Coach) TIMID playcalling have brought us to the brink of .500.  This team is better than this!

I remember those Painter days
