  1. Archer, "Luck got hurt because of his scheme?"  What does that mean?  It's not his scheme  - it's Pagano & Hamilton's scheme!  As for calling the O-line average is really way, way off.  Luck got hurt because of the O-Line, not any bad scheme.  The focus of the draft and FA signings needed to be protect the best, and the most important player on the team, which Grigson failed miserably to do. The defense played well against a less than talented offense, and once again it's weakness is the D-Line. Both lines need major upgrade which I have no confidence Grigson can fix given the other dumb moves he's made in less than 4 years.

You took the words right out of my mouth I don't no what Irsay is waiting for this team is a mess

  2. COLTS7 you said it all.  And let me add that one game DOES define a season, not necessarily this one but the one against the Patriots in October.  If we go 2/3 or 3/2 that game will not only define the season but will tell you all you need to know about the chances of getting to the play-offs. Let's be icy cold about this team, after Luck we have maybe 3-4 quality players, the rest of the team is no more than average.  We have an average coach and a below average GM who can't identify talent with two hands.  Dorsett was a wasted opportunity to address the many real needs of the team.  I don't want to go over all his many  poor choices in talent procurement, but why is Bjorn Werner on this team?  We will need luck (pun intended) to build a team around Andrew that will be competitive enough to be a SERIOUS SB contender with Grigson & Pagano trying to build it.

    Color me disgusted.

EHRMAN,DUTTON,COOK,BARNES you brought back some great memories loved watching them play along with Bert Jones. We could really use them now.

  3. Trent Richardson actually had an encouraging game, I thought. He made several very nice runs and it was good to see, his first carry out of the pistol formation went for five yards. He came right back with a hard 8-yard scamper out of the shotgun Trent is way better then Brown last year they stacked the box against Trent and the Giants had 8 players in the box 27 out of the 30 plays the 1st team offense ran. Also if you go back and watch game film from last year Trent was hit in the backfield 80% of the time and positive yardage out of nothing and Brown's plays 75% out of shotgun and most of Trent's was out jumbo formation or I- formation, but off of my initial viewing I was happy with Richardson last night.Lay off of Richardson. The line looks atrocious. People standing around, not sticking with blocks, and blown assignments. Somebody needs to light a fire under the offensive lines butts.

What game where you watching?one of the reasons everyone is in the backfield is because Richardson takes for ever to make a decision

  4. Now what makes you think that Grigson needs to swallow his pride? He has done a great job so far and has alot of cap room to work with this up coming season. It's easy to sit in your chair and do some shadetree GM work without knowing all the facts. He took a team that was 2-14 to a wild card spot and then on to a division crown with a playoff win. All without some of his best players not on

If you read the post I was referring to letting go of Satele and Toler and he did a terrible job this past year on free agents. He went for quantity instead of quality on defense and to trade a 1st round pick for Richardson ?by the way all his best defensive players played in the playoffs. Luck like Manning covers up a lot of shadetree GM'S that's a fact ( D gave up 85 points in 2 games in the playoffs another fact ) GO COLTS
