  1. Vegas usually gives the home team 3 points, so you could read it as the Colts are a 2 pt dog. Stroud will be the best QB we've faced since...Carr? Houston hasn't been scoring a lot since Tank went out. They have the better QB (IMO), we have the better team. Toss up.
  2. I thought the 2005 team was the best. Unfortunate tragedy derailed the momentum.
  3. I suspect it has a lot to do with how the D's play so close to the line, seeing that the long ball threat isn't really there. Yes, it's burned them a few times. But in the long run it's the best defense against our offense. We do run a jet sweep, or at least we used to when Parris was here. I'd say Q is the best OLman that could handle the outside zone. I'm not sure about the others. I'll leave that to people who know the line better than I do. Also, you need to have a RB with great vision. JT's forte is with the inside zone. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Intermittent fasting. Pick an 8 hour window when you will eat. Don’t overdo it during that time. And get exercise daily. Easy. Good luck!
  5. I’m with you! I still think Morrall was paid to keep it close. He did too good of a job.
  6. Stroud will be the best QB we’ve faces since Lamar (or that girl who plays for Jacksonville). Hope Kenny is back. Also have to give them a ton of credit. They were considered the worst team in the league by the talking heads at the start of the season.
  7. Did anyone legitimately predict 9 wins? I doubt it. Thank you Coach Steichen and THANK YOU schedule.
  8. We beat the Ravens, so we can beat anyone. We lost bad to the Falcons and Saints. So we can lose to anyone. I'm in the 0-2 camp, and like others have said, I hope I'm wrong.
  9. I’m not sure the Baltimore Colts can beat the Oakland Raiders, but I like our chances against the San Diego Chargers. St. Louis Cardinals could be tough too.
  10. Colts opened up as 3.5 point favorites (who knows why). It will be interesting to see what the line is by game day.
  11. Nothing should surprise us about this team. We’ve already seen the highs and lows. Let’s relax and hope for a win next week.
  12. I still can’t believe we’re even discussing this. I mean, in a good way. I wasn't thinking playoff possibilities even when AR started looking good. great coaching and adequate QB play. Outstanding!
  13. ...OR...and I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion...draft Sanders, Ewers or McCarthy... Let GM find another home, and make Sam earn a paycheck until your new rookie shows he's a capable backup.
  14. Another thing that isn't discussed much (or maybe it is and I've ignored it) is that Gardner isn't going to sign for $3.5M next season. Maybe not even triple that. Someone is going to pay him to either compete for the starting job, or they think they're SB bound and want reliable insurance.
  15. Their last 5 losses were close games, 2 to 5 points. Maybe the points the Falcons were getting were too tantalizing for a lot of gamblers.
  16. Thats right! But I do think Andrew will be back for the playoffs.
  17. They need him fresh for the play... ...Never mind...
  18. Obviously an individual by individual question - but I can name a few OLmen who were either drafted late or not at all, and have made pro bowls. (Besides Jeff)
  19. That was amazing. I didn't see the game, but the Falcon fans are throwing a fit over it. I have to think that Jayden Daniels is on their Christmas wish list more than getting Robinson going. Now they'll just need a HC who's a QB guru...Frank, wait by the phone!
  20. You’re overlooking Christmas if the Colts overlook the Falcons. Good one! (I do know a few people who forgot it was a holiday and went into work…but not on Christmas. Too many reminders)
  21. Good news about JT. “Progressing well” is Shane’s go to response when asked about any injury. Reporter: “Coach, how is Jones doing after having both of his legs broke and losing an eye?” Shane: “He’s responding well”.
  22. Both (used to be) important ST guys. And the STs haven't been very good the last few weeks to begin with. Although, I'm not sad that McKenzie isn't out there. He seemed to be a fumble waiting to happen.
  23. That's interesting. I know they move the line based on how the betting is going. Which means a lot of people were taking the Falcons. Maybe the hunch is it's Smith's last hurrah and he's starting Heinicke. I wish they would have stayed with Ridder.
