  1. I hope so. Coming back to the 4-3, why not have one of the best ever to do it help teach it? Guy bleeds blue and can relate to the players. Draft us some Chubb and let's see what they can bring.
  2. Shefty is reporting Dan Campbell from the Saints is also in the mix.
  3. Wonder if Eberflus/Ballard will retain Mathis as a consultant.
  4. Loved Ballard's reaction/comments when asked about Jim's reaction to hearing the news. I wish I was a fly on that wall.
  5. Ya know, during both the AFC Championship & SB I thought to myself "Wow did CB do a nice job unloading some average talent and got decent return". Gronk goes out, DA does nothing. Cooks goes out, PD does nothing.
  6. I was waiting for someone to say it. Let’s get Peyton in here as an OC! Hahaha. This is does suck but everything happens for a reason. Better to see his loyalty now than having him here and knowing his heart isn’t in it.
  7. He wasn't blasting the forums or saying anything malicious, storming the streets or creating mountains. Simply a little jest if anything and for a very valid point. I agree, simple mistake not a huge deal at all, can easily be moved back. But with all do respect, the only escalation of the situation was you mentioning that he was being "picky" which I'm not even sure I understand how that definition qualifies in this instance. I feel that was pretty unwarranted is all and added nothing constructive to this thread just like my 3 post contribution it.
  8. I think he was simply stating that it didn't make sense for the thread to be moved. Absolutely, no reason to say he's being picky when he has a completely valid point. This thread started with some great discussion about a player already on the Colt's roster that could make a splash next year with some of the changes going on.
  9. Completely agree. Active and under contract player on the Colts roster and is completely fair game for discussion. Took as many snaps as Andrew Luck did this year. Are we talking about drafting him? Nope. Are we talking about signing a free agent? Nope. Thread was incorrectly moved, no harm but it should be moved back.
  10. Have there actually been any recent pictures of him?
  11. I helped open and worked at the casino that this incident occurred in. Safe to say nothing good ever happened there. People dying during construction, lost financing, went bankrupt twice, guy falls off escalator, Ray rice goes nuts. Typical built on a cursed land type stuff.
  12. I'm excited to hear from him but also very nervous that this is a retirement announcement.
  13. Dallas Clark - favorite Colt second to #18. Love watching Jack Doyle though, couple more years of his play I can see him creeping up on Dallas Andrew Luck - man those early seasons and his combacks were fun to watch. Dwight Freeney & Mathis - so many years of poor defenses, these two were typically bright spots of their respective positions. Austin Collie/Stokley/Gonzalez - Not the most physically gifted set of receivers but timing in the Manning era was always so precise. Watching highlights of these guys and him is a beauty.
  14. I am glad he fumbled. I don't want to win another game this season. There is absolutely no benefit for this team to win any more games this year. It hurts to watch at times but it hurts more to see multiple years of mediocrity.
  15. Colts win with an unexpected blowout. 34-17
  16. I love how our defense has been playing this year, far from perfect but a lot of progress. Creating turnovers, run D has been balling and our young DBs are showing some definite promise. I think our loses and the two blowouts have been far more a result of a failing offense/coaching rather than a poor defense. From my eyes, we currently have the best defense we've had in recent years, I would say probably the best defense we've had in the Luck era. I'm excited to get Luck back. I think we'll even see improvement with Kelly back and getting a couple weeks of practice back in. Not to mention Brissett and Mack starting to find some rhythm.
  17. I stayed at a Homewood Suites when I went a couple of years ago for MNF vs Eagles. Reasonably priced and nice room. Very short walk to Downtown and Stadium as well.
  18. You sure did see that stat. I think I saw after this week we are currently tied for 1st in the league in drops.
  19. I agree. I think the issue in pre-season was that we tried running him between the tackles. He's much more of a speed/open space guy. During the games we've definitely utilized him in a checkdown curl type roll. Fits him.
  20. I'd reckon were probably close to leading the league in redzone defense also if you only look at the last two games.
  21. We lost but I think our pass protection was great all game, against an incredibly talented d-line as well. Some hurries and a little unsteady to start the game but when things got settled Andrew was shredding Lions defense. I look forward to seeing that more often! Our defense will absolutely get better as we get healthier (hopefully), but it was nice to actually see our offense thrive.
