From the guys you have my favorite mock would be
Luck
Kirkpatrick
Ta'amu
Jenkins

Carder/Cunningham

But imo the more realistic mock would be
Luck
Gilmore
Toon
Egnew
Fangupo/Hicks
Mclain

Definately like the first one better

7th Round: RB Bobby Rainey, WR Jermaine Kearse, WR Chris Owusu, WR Griff Whalen, TE Brady Smelley, TE Rhett Ellison, OLB Cordarro Law
I agree with just about everyone on this list mine would look very similar. I would exclude David Wilson, Alfonzo Dennard, Josh Chapman (at least in the third), and Dwight Jones. Maybe I would add Vinny Curry and Fletcher Cox in the 2nd. Doug Martin in the 3rd, Brandon Brooks OG in the 4th, and a few other late round guys I like. Can't say I agree with all your late round o-linemen as I haven't seen or heard of many of them.
-
Hopefully we just swap 6th rounders again
-
I like it, I don't mind Ta'amu in the early second the more I think about it even though I'd prefer Jean-Babtiste in the fourth...but there are no guarantees. nice job so far.
-
Like I said in the post, i'm just going off of DraftSite's newest mock. Allen wasn't there, but I still like Charles a little more. The only scat back to take is LaMichael James IMO and he's gonna be gone by RD 4. I don't mind Poole coming in. Any running help is a plus.
If it was a wish list...the results would be a bit different
I was thinking maybe Adonis Thomas out of Toledo in the 7th or maybe Michael Smith from Utah State or even Bobby Rainey from Western Kentucky in the 6th
-
Interesting...There has been talk of Dwayne Allen falling to the early third, personally I like him over both Charles and Fleener. Would you still want Charles if he is there?
And I do see us going RB but I think we go for more of a scat back than Poole to offset Brown and Carter jmo.

The late great George Carlin.
Actually, I'm not so sure about that one now but I'm almost positive it came from a famous comedian.
-
Agreed. Some cats suck because they suck. I'm a dog guy too and from what I've noticed, dogs are rarely inherently mean.
I heard a great saying about cats and dogs once;
When you pet your dog and give it a treat, it thinks "He must be god". When you pet your cat and give it a treat, it thinks "I must be god".
The late great George Carlin.

I like it a lot...I'm not the biggest fan of Gilmore and would prefer Boykin, Hosley, or Hayward to him but perhaps not at that spot. I feel the same way about Dwight Jones but I wouldn't mind him as much if we were able to get him in the 5th.
-
I like Cole as welli as Galippo but Burris played ILB his Junior and Sophmore seasons I believe, so it seems he can play either position.
-
It looked like Fr33 was getting swarmed there for a while but it has died down a bit. I'd be perfectly fine with Wright as an alternative to Sanu but after Wright's pro day he may have moved himself up back into the 1st. To me, it's looking like it would be a very good idea to try and trade down from 34 to try and pick up an extra 3rd or 4th.
I do agree that perhaps it would be more beneficial to target another position since WR seems to have so much depth...I'm just unsure of where to go if we stay put at #34. I like Vinny Curry, Fletcher Cox, and Whitney Merciluss the most there and could work Curry or Merciluss into a rotation with Freeney and Mathis or Cox in a rotation with Nevis, Redding, and Moala...but I would prefer our second round pick to have more of a roll than just a rotational guy. At OL there is Mike Adams and Kelechi Osemele that I like...Adams is the more talented of the two but I'm not in favor of moving Ijalana to OG so I suppose I'd prefer Osemele if we go OL but he could be seen as a reach. At CB I like Janoris Jenkins but he might not be there and I REALLLLY like Brandon Boykin but he would be a reach. I guess I've been locked in on Sanu for so long I haven't put much thought into alternatives...well other than Curry or Cox.
-
If you look at who the Colts have picked up already, almost all of them are OL. meaning we won't pick OL in this draft.
Justice and McGlyn were picked up for depth IMO and I personally do not want to move Ijalana to G. After the Satele signing, I would change the Blake pick to Brandon Brooks OG, Miami (Ohio)
-
I don't want to go TE that early but even if we do, I like Dwayne Allen over Fleener.
Some people have been saying that since the since the TE talent is weak this year in terms of depth, Fleener should last to the mid-late second round...well wouldn't it make sense, in a draft where most of the other positions are deep, to target the top tier talent (Allen and Fleener) at a less deep position slightly earlier than normal, so long as you have a need there, since it may very well be the only "real" talent at the position...just a thought. I never really got the whole "The TE class is weak this year so that means the top guys will fall also" argument.
-
Yea well the pick was changed to Wright...and I don't think either of those guys go in the second round anymore...maybe Washington in the late second . I'd also be fine with Mike Thomas OT, Ohio State or Kelechi Osemele OG/OT, Iowa State if you would prefer going o-line first.
-
He visited with the Bengals a few days ago...that is the latest news I've heard on him.
-
I'd suggest you to do another one of your famous player match-ups to try and derail it but you have already used Kendall Wright, Hill, and Jeffery...oh well.
-
I suppose I'd be fine with Kendall Wright in the second instead of Sanu...for the sake of a little change (Sanu would still be my first choice though)
-
Couldn't tell.
Honestly though I've been saying how much I like the guy for a while now and it shouldn't have been all that much of a shock...but at the same time I see what your saying, a lot of people like to ride the hype train and I'll be the first to admit that I'm guilty of it from time to time but I still stand by my main man Sanu...dude is a beast lol

It's late and I'm bored so why not?? With Mathis tweeting that he is the SAM LB in the new system I find it hard to believe that we are moving Freeney. My thinking is why else would you put our otherwise best rusher at SAM. I could be missing something but I say it's looking like we keep Dwight.
1st- Luck
2nd- Mohamed Sanu WR, Rutgers...If Peter Konz C, Wisconsin is available then I would select him here
3rd- Brandon Boykin CB, Georgia
4th- Nicolas Jean-Babtiste NT, Baylor
4th comp.- Phillip Blake C, Baylor...If Konz was available in the 2nd then I'd try for Marvin Mcnutt WR, Iowa/ Jarius Wright WR, Arkansas/ B.J. Cunningham WR, Mich St.
5th- Evan Rodriguez TE, Temple
6th- Derek Moye WR, Penn State/ Junior Hemmingway WR, Michigan
6th comp.- Miles Burris OLB, San Diego State
7th- Antoine McClain OT/OG, Clemson/ Cliff Harris CB, Oregon/ Adonis Thomas RB, Toledo
UDFA- Jonas Gray RB, Notre Dame, Griff Whalen WR, Stanford, Robert Blanton CB (as safety), Notre Dame
I think I might have went a little too high on Rodriguez but I like the guy a lot and he fills a need.
-
You think we need a TE more than a WR or CB? Ha! Great TE are a luxury, just because people have fallen in love with Fleener doesn't mean we would take him if Kendall Wright or Dre Kirkpatrick, or anybody like that were available.
look at who we have...Brody Eldridge and nothing else at least at WR we have Collie at our 2 spot and I have yet to see much of Thomas or Rucker at CB personally, so idk what they could be under Pagano...that being said, I have not fallen in love with Fleener, not in the least, and have stated on here that I like Dwayne Allen over him. I would prefer to stay away from TE until about rd 4 where we could look at Egnew or Green and grab the bpa at CB or WR in the second
-
Well I think Darelle Revis, Patrick Willis, Jake Long, Victor Cruz, and Greg Jennings are all FA's next year....it's not going to happen but I would probably explode with giddiness if we got Patrick Willis...Darelle Revis is nice too
-
I like him but his concussions scare me, if we go with a late round option from Stanford I'd prefer Griff Whalen.
