My buddies in the Indy area got Basketball deals. The man I pressed as a freshman starred in Hoosiers......I played Pagano's D in basketball!
Indianapolis was my home town....Thousands....of players.
WOW! Thanks MIColtsFan.....I have played basketball and baseball....football........so many names and memories....

Hello!
Just seeing we got 3 of your top 40 picks which to me is a pretty good ratio, Thanks for the blog...we miss you Ken!!

What a great and special story Gramz.. I remember looking at the wether that day and saying it was going to be tough getting that meet in.
My thoughts are: rain, sleet, snow....our loved ones, the elderly, pets, and anyone with any special needs come first before anything/anyone else.
This is why your friends love and care about you so much. Thank you for a humbling experience.

"Ya better not cry.....ya better watch out.....HCF is telling you why....Andrew Luck is coming to town!!!!"
HO HO HO! Merry Draft Day!!

Check out my status update, New Saints news.
-
It depends for the Saints in the first 6 games. Spag is DC, Carmichael is HC, and a guy by the name of Drew Brees is OC/
Pending suspensions of players, no way Falconns win...they will go fourth and 2 twice..and fail as usual and it is the Saints divison to lose.

As long as it is not a holey hoodie like Belisnears? I love my grey hoodie...I look much better than Bill.

I had not heard this Coltman51.....but as we said all year, Clark did get 'blasted' at the line of scrimmage and could not catch a cold. A true shame!!
Welcome ackoeber92!!

I have to think to myself on this one HungarianColtsFan: Should there be a ton of pressure on this team? Last year's team was on the verge of an 0-16 year. We were beaten 62-7 by the Saints. This represented the 3rd worst loss in the history of professional American football.
If the Colts had not fired Larry Coyer (the Cover 2 Destroyer)we would have gone 0-16. Mike Murphy took it personally when he replaced Coyer and said "We will not be 0-16."
I agree with you that 3-13 is the standard that needs to be overtaken. I looked at the schedule and I predict 7-9. 8-8 is a success as you say. I think the pressure should lie squarely on the shoulders of the teams playing the new look Colts. Why?
The defense will be agressive from day 1 of camp and will not quit bringing the heat. Pagano will not allow it. Manusky is known as a conservative coach. Pagano will not let a 'prevent' defense to be played in the 3rd quarter.(Coyer played one in the 1st)
Call me crazy, but I like the early Bye week. A new team can use a couple of days off to think, and also practice the things that may not have worked against the Bears, Vikings and Jags. By the way, I predict a 2-1 start.(OUCH, did I say that?)
I know I am being pretty positive on who the pressure will be on. One person needs to know one thing and state it proudly. "I am Andrew Luck." The 'other guy is gone. Lets get another 14 years of Colts history started. Go Colts!!

Smash mouth offense with more balance, and smash mouth defense with plenty of disguise and imaginative blitz packages!!!
-
I am glad Irsay made it clear today we are indeed taking Luck number 1.
Lets just do the process and enjoy the moment of yet another franchise QB!!
Gone are the days where a number 1 pick can get an enormous contract (Stafford and Bradford for example) So why argue about signing him? We should not. He WILL be signed!!!
Thanks for the nice comments HungarianColtsFan! You are a super guy. Good luck on that house...you and your bride will find the perfect fit for you.

My only deal is things moving on the screen. I know advertising partners are sooooo important. It is hard to concentrate, but the Colts.com change looks good. I wish we could delete within a few minutes of posting on both sites.
Thank you for the blog Maureen.

That looks to be the case on Vitt. Spags and Carmichael can handle it....Good! I'm glad Parcels made this decision. Vitt will more than likely be moved into the HC position and other coaching staff will have to fill in during his suspension.
The Saints need to get Brees's contract done yesterday. To me this is not something you fool around with,
-
You say it the best in the very last sentence. The Saints need to step up to the $20 million plate (Manning got $19.2 with Broncos)ASAP.
He will be the one that pulls their team together. I still hope Bill Parcels does not step in as coach. When Sean Payton was injured, Carmichael did well. They should wait for Vitt.
As I write this....Bill Parcels WILL NOT come out of retirement to coach! More Saints news....to come.

I am really interested in your thoughts, and am excited to hear thoughts of American football by great people from other great countries.
When I first entered the forum, you became one of my first friends! I always appreciate your honesty, hard work, and in general 'just how great' of a person you are.
I for one cannot wait to read more of your blogs when you find the time. Thank you HungarianColtsFan!!

I just read this and immediately was ready for the day. It made me laugh, smile, and reminded me how old I am getting. HA HA!
To have Judas Priest, Uriah Heep, Metallica, and the Who for a trip home after a 'long night' is a true rush! (Was there any Rush?)
Hang in there subvet, those 13 hour nights....will end soon. You will miss some of it.....and a whole lot of it you will not!! Thanks again for a nice post to start the day!!!

I read that quote Kayla, and I bit my tongue! Things have been getting more positive. The Coyer 2 was the most lax Cover 2 I have ever seen. With new rules the defense that was Dungy's is becoming obselete...often ineffective unless attating.I love my Colts and I love Chuck Pagano!!! I am so excited about the new year!! Thank you for this blog, I absolutely love it. I am just full of love today I guess, !! I can't wait to see us have a legitimate defense!! I posted in a forum the other day how glad I was we got rid of Coyer. Someone quoted me and said I need to be careful what I wish for. Well, why wouldn't I wish for this? Let's Hunt!!

Even when we were 0-13......we asked for some good attacking defense....we will finally get our wish my good friend!!! GO COLTS!!!

ColtsPride11: I love this blog. Thank you for posting. With the full moon I am feeling crazier than ever!! HA HA!
I love the approach of Pagano, and we have wished for an attacking.'disguising' defense for years The quote "we may be a 4-3 team on first down, we can be an odd 3-4 look on second down and the Lord only knows on 3rd-and-7-plus. That’s our goal.”........says it all to me.
Thank you for starting my day off with a smile and some good Colts excitement!!!

Thank you for the great comment Southwest. I think there is definitely some intesity in this front office GM WeSpy provides the intellect. I will bring the 'house' with emotion.
AustinCollie17: We will start with the new coaches, and yes we will analyze off season transactions. We will also lead up to the draft, and set up each game. I hope everyone on here reads and comments. This is for all Colt fans to enjoy!!! (BTW, we make mistakes like everyone...but don't tell anybody!)
-
Thank you Flux Civilian, KaylaD, MIColtsFan, and Jay Kirk. We think this will be fun for all Colt fans. From those who are learning the game to the most crafty 'veterans.' I am excited....is it football season yet? Thanks again!!
-
Ah, okay, got you now. You wanted more depth on the line in case of injury, and those guys are not good enough. Right? If so, I do definitely see your point.
They are 'stop-gap' measures at best my friend. Link was too, but he improved (still needs work) Tepper, Olsen were horrible....Murphy is camp fodder/practice squad at best.
-
Lets get these guys ....and we can talk. You are doing a great job...a ton of fun today...
Olsen and Murphy need practice squad......awful....Tepper
I love Tamme....
I listed backups because they are not worthy.
The draft is over...did we get it right?

You my friend have repeated my words. Amazing! Exactly!
Blogs need to mean something. So often they miss. You are on top of this along with our Colts Friends.
Coaches step up? DBs evaluated! I think this is a nice draft Post_Polian. (I will not say good riddance to Chris)
Need to run...spraying the field....WE (COLTS) are on the right track!
