Thoughts? The bold is the team's final record in my own opinion.

if my chargers can go 10-6 i'll be ecstatic lol

  2. Games like this are why the Chargers will never be Superbowl contenders ..other than the Colts whom they own, the Chargers always make STUPID (just no other word for it) mistakes against top flight teams like the Patriots and the Steelers

Anyone remember the Chargers vs Patriots game last year? Unbelievable just how rediculously stupid that team is (anyone remember the "fumble" where the Charger caught it then just dropped it and walked off without being touched?). The Chargers collectively just exude a football IQ on-par with Vince Young's Wonderlic score

It frustrates me that the Chargers DESTROY us and yet play like apes against other teams

the chargers remind me of the pre sb winning indy colts

just always making stupid plays in the clutch

  3. i stopped giving any credence to theismann when vick was scrambling during a pro bowl game (this was before he was incarcerated), threw up a hail mary that miraculously was caught, and joe exclaimed, see, that's why vick is such a great qb

i think it was jaws who then said, what the heck are you talking about

    haha

  4. Yeah b/c we all no Purdue QB's can't win.......OH wait Brees won a SB and the only reason the bears played us in one is b/c Orton won them a lot of games that year. I'm not saying I want Orton by any means but that kid can win.

rex grossman started all 16 games for the bears, the year the bears played indy in the sb

you really suck at history, bro

  5. I couldn't agree more. I honestly saw it in 2008 when Brady went down and the Patriots won 11 games. They are built solidly across the board and they can absorb a catastrophic loss like Brady. The Colts are a hollow shell built completely around one man. The can absorb losses to anyone else on the team and remain successful but if you take him out the whole shell implodes.

Actually, it has gotten to the point that comparing the way the Colts are run to the way the Patriots are run is so ridiculously one sided as to not be worth the time. The Patriots work the free agent market for hidden gems like Moss. They know when to trade even some of their most valuable players like Seymour to stockpile picks and manage the salary cap. They keep building depth by trading down in the draft. They will remain dominant long after Brady has retired.

In my opinion Belichick is probably the greatest coach ever. The only ones I would put in the same ball park are Halas and Brown. Four 14 win seasons with more of them to come.

lol it's funny how people still think moss was a FA pickup

the pats made a trade with Oakland for him

that's what the pats do really well, aside from stockpiling picks, they make smart trades

    welker, moss, who else? dillon?

    i mean , they're just dayum smart.

although i'd have to say trading seymour wasn't really a coup. seymour still looks pretty dayum good.

the pats rarely make mistakes in dealing with players, and when they do it usually doesn't hamstring their salary cap

  6. San Diego is a contender, the Raiders aren't. Why would any football player not want to play somewhere that they have a chance at the playoffs and a winning team? Next to the $ the chance at victory is these guys deepest drive.

Oh... and don't think the Colts are the only people that whine about guys being let go and becoming stars elsewhere. San Diego - Wes Welker ring a bell for anyone?!

exactly lol, i was waiting for some of our charger fans to cry about the loss of scot chandler, after he caught a td for the bills haha

  7. Lets just say that we really do end up doing bad this season and Manning doesnt make a appearance this year. Do you think that Polian and Irsay will really take a High Round QB in the draft or do you see them taking more of a high end Defensive player? I was thinking about it at work. Obviously next years draft we need to get a realiable/ potential starter for this team, but we also know how the polians work by trying to take "no name" players and make them work for their name in the NFL. So what if they attempt to take a Qb in the second or Third...would this hurt us or help us? Just a thought, what do you guys think?

if you're in a position to draft luck, you'd do it

if luck has a good year in college

    i mean it's common sense

if peyton recovers, you can probably fleece another team in a luck trade, because it's not just luck, it's a qb who everyone who needed a qb will probably want, and he just got groomed at least for a year, by peyton manning......

it's like drafting a guy with nfl experience, that's what the trade partner will think of it like

and on the other hand, if peyton doesn't recover, then you've got a new qb ready to step in.

    it's really a no brainer
