Maybe Ballard gets a pick and a player or something. We have the cap space to take on a big contract of a guy like Von miller maybe?? Lol wishful thinking.

I know I like that he is our first interview I hope that means he's our top guy
Josh is on a bye week, so he can only be interviewed this week during the playoffs. Most of the other candidates are playing during wild card weekend and can't be interviewed until eliminated.
-
I am sure Ballard and his hire will be on the same page when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Where's the Toub interview? Maybe there is no need to rush it.
Pretty sure they have already got permission but they cant schedule an interview this week since KC is playing wildcard weekend.

Imagine for a moment a Colts offense with Luck, Hilton, Landry and Barkley with McDaniels running the system.
Or maybe an offensive line.

I would be happy with him or Matt Patricia.

Saw a few articles about Tom Cable... I sure hope not.

If we had a locker room with strong leaders we could talk about it. However, this year has showed us we don't have the type of veteran presence that can absorb someone with these issues. No more Reggie Wayne type guys left.

Well the way gore and mack were running, pagano felt they couldn't get that half a yard.

You don't "move on" from a coach that makes you a Super Bowl contender every year ... unless said coach retires, falls off the cliff and has several bad seasons, or does something so outrageous that public/media outrage forces your hand.
Any other personality quirks that may be irritating you overlook/learn to live with.
I dont disagree with anything you said..yet again crazy things have happened. And if kraft really prefers Brady over bill what can you do?

If Belicheck left NE it would probably be to retire.
I think a lot of teams would offer him full control and a blank check.. both are tempting to stay.

Kraft can't be that stupid.
Kraft is going to move on eventually. I always thought it would be whenever Bill wanted to hang it up but crazy things have happened.

Was watching I think The Herd this morning and he was talking about Bob Kraft and Bill Belichick being at odds and he wouldnt be surprised is Bill leaves after this season and they promote McDaniels in NE... real dark house candidate would be Belichick.

I think Kirk Cousins could shape the draft depending on where he chooses to sign.

Star Wars comes out Thursday night.. so that is a negative for watching Thursday Night Football.

If we don't fire Chuck then me definitely fire chudzinski he isn't calling the right offensive plays and our talents are being wasted with him as the OC
Chud is what pagano's third or fourth OC... all but BA called the same kind of offense/scheme. My guess is, this is the offense pagano wants to try an execute; he is the constant.

I don't usually think interviews occur until the season is over due to a general understanding that coaching candidates are often still under obligation to continue coaching for their current teams. So I see no reason to clean house just yet. It would just seems like a fruitless statement firing at this point. But who knows, I guess.
Teams with vacancies can interview coaches during the playoffs. During bye weeks, so a month out from actual interviews for a guy like McDaniels if he is on the short list. Permission has to be granted, then logistics planned, and contract negotiations. Not to forget the Rooney rule... so the early we can start at this point the better.
-
I really do wish we start cleaning house this week, so we can start putting our short lists together and start interviews as early as possible.

I kind of liked the article, there really isnt anything to celebrate and beat their chest from these players on the verge of getting cut. Too many dropped balls and such little effort given to be that full of yourself. The WR core really miss a guy like reggie or marvin right now, not just from a talent stand point but also a true leader.

How about coaching well for 60 minutes? See so many comments here about the dread what if. That happens when the team stinks at 3 and 8.
Sound logic or... pags lobbies the NFL to shorten games to 30 or 45 mins, that puts us at like 9-2 and in the hunt for the 1 seed in the AFC. He doesnt look incompetent and probably keeps his job.

Team plays hard for him....every week
Couple weeks ago we basically watched the team mail it in against the jags and a lot of people were asking if he lost the team.

Pagano dropped a real bombshell in his post game conference... games are 60 min, not 30 or 45 min. Good info out there.
