I can't say I hate them (hates a strong word lol) but I'm with you, they aren't much of a fan to leave games early and give up on the team like that. I went to the KC playoff game few yrs ago and seen ALOT of so-called Colts fans leaving at half time. Irked me seeing fans give up hope/support of the team. The 12th man can make a huge difference to close out a close game.

I was at that game.  People who left missed a game for the ages.  I swear the concrete was shaking under my feet and you could feel the vibration from the "Sound" in your chest.  Yesterday wasn't quite that spectacular but it shows you shouldn't leave early.  What you going to do, go sit in traffic lol!

  2. Every week JB has done what has been asked of him.  Take care of the ball - check, hand it off to Mack  Check, Houston stacking the box, "Throw the Damn Ball" - check.  We hadn't even come close to seeing this Kids ceiling.   I am very excited to see the next step!

I would have to say week 17. I was soo pumped for Sunday night football. Random people at the stores giving me props and telling me they hoped the Colts would win that night. It was awesome!

I know alot of us didn't know it till the end of the season. But, my 2nd favorite part was Jacoby running to the end zone to photo-bomb the defense's pose :funny:

Loved it when Old Man Vinetari ran down with them after Hooker intercepted Eli.  Showed how much he still loves the game.  :yahoo:

My point of view doesn't need excuses; it's my point of view, and has been for a long time. I said the exact same thing before the draft, and I was very convinced that Nelson would be very good, right away. The fact that he's been very good right away doesn't change that.

And what a terrible analogy. If I have a plumbing issue, I call a plumber. I don't have to pay double the going rate for a plumber, though; there's a world of difference between that and calling an electrician.

That's my point: We could have improved the guard position without spending an premier pick on a non premier position. I didn't say let's draft a strong safety and play him at guard.

And no, I didn't say that about Peyton Manning, because QB is the most important, valuable and hardest to fill position in team sports. The value calculus supports taking a QB at the top of the draft if you think he can be a franchise QB. There's no such thing as a franchise LG. and there never will be.

You are missing Nelsons true value entirely.  Yes, you could draft a guard at a lower spot that would be serviceable and fill the need.  But Ballard was looking for and found the cornerstone of our OL for the next decade.  A player that doesn't just "fill a need at good value" but makes every other player on THE LINE better!  A Horseshoe Guy!  A player that "Fits the Culture" of the Colts locker room.  His value is not quantified by draft round or pick number.

  5. That game was crazy!  First time I actually felt that Lucas Oil was louder than the old RCA Dome.  Two Chief  fans sitting next to us were jumping and screaming along with COLTS FANS.  Said as painful as it was to lose they felt they were witnessing history being made.  And they were lol.

Sean Peyton wheeled $225,000 in cash into the Saints locker room with the Lombardi trophy sitting on top and said; "You want this? Win 3 f***ing games."

Pretty awesome if you ask me.

$225,000 is the purse each winning player gets if their team wins the SB.

Sean Peyton having to pay players to do what they are already paid to do?  I would rather have our players that are ready to run through a brick wall for FR!  :coltslogo::coltshelmet:

  7. My house is a seething cauldron of nerves and emotions.   My husband is a Cowboys fan so this day isn't going to end till almost midnight.   If we lose and his "Boys" win my pain will be twofold.  Guess all I have to do is hold up the big fat goose egg lol.  :D

    GO COLTS!  :colts:

  8. I mentioned TY's bad ankle in an earlier post.  That being said, 75% of TY is better than 100% of most other receivers.  Teams will have to game plan for him as though he were 100% cause you never know what you will get.  He started very strong on Sunday night but you could tell the ankle continued to bother him as the game went on.  But then again he could be playing "Opossum"  TY the GHOST OPOSSUM!!    :funny:

  9. The Colts have won with their defense, won with special teams and won with offense.  Frank can change the game plan to fit most any team.  As long as we stay healthy and don't make huge mental errors we can beat anyone in the AFC.

That being said - I find the Ravens a "little" scary!  :hide:

Most of us thought the Colts could be anywhere between 6-10 and 9-7 at best including me.  Glad that our Colts have exceeded my expectations.  I was also very vocal in critiquing Luck’s decision making and many turnovers.  However, he has made adjustments and stepped up his game in those areas.  Thanks in large part to the influence of Frank Reich and the emergence of our offensive line.  We are now seeing the results. It’s a beautiful thing.  He is earning his accolades from me rather than having me just give them to him because I’m a Colts fan.

Also props to Ballard.  Going into the season I thought our roster was basically garbage.  We still have needs but he has shown he can draft well.  I didn’t see Darius Leonard coming!

Most didn't, including opposing players LOL!  :rawr:

Now if we can keep having Curtis Painter level QB's to face in the playoff well then ok. Gabbert had plenty of open receivers he just missed them by a yard or two.

If we don't have a highly functional Kelley & Geathers my $$ would be on Houston.  jmo

I agree, Boehm is a decent center but he is not a playoff quality replacement for Kelley.  And I am not sure what got into Glowinskie Sunday night but he was holding everybody!!  :nono:
