Thats alot of money, I don’t think he’s going to be the same pitcher he was pre injury, he had many poor performances after he came back last season, I really do wish him well, really liked his personality and charitable Contributions. Thought he would end up back in Philly.

Heard Castellanos and his agent, Boras(slime ball) want a lot of money, more then the Cubs may be able to afford. Really, REALLY hope they can retain him somehow.

    Not shocked that Hamels left

I rarely question Ballard as I think he is a great GM but IMO we should've never let Inman go in the first place. I said that right before the season started.

He didn’t fit into the “plans”

They will have the option it just probably won’t be one of the top ones in the draft.  They could still draft a kid in the second or a later round and try to develop him while they have Jacoby as well.  If both workout you flip one for a draft pick.

I haven’t had a chance to look at the whole list of QBs that could be available but outside of the cream of the crop it will take a few years if ever for guys to be NFL ready

I have heard a lot of talk of using the high #2 on Tua or Love

Ok Leonard has nothing to do with the offense.

i don’t care if he brings Love in or not.  Frankly he’s not a guy I am high on.  Still I don’t have a problem if they bring another QB in.  While Jacoby isn’t as bad as some want him to be he’s not Andrew Luck either and never will be.  If you can upgrade the position that’s a good thing.  At the same time it’s not a must do like it was after 2011 either.

At this point the Colts might not get the option to draft a QB

How about 1978's stand-in for Bert Jones, Bill Troup. Jack Trudeau was a lot better than most people give him credit for. The Colts were very good in '87,'88, and '89. We should have never drafted Chandler or George.

    I liked JT

Had a very good supporting cast too

Inform yourself about what's going on in the rest of the league. Heard on NFL radio today for example Chicago left 5 starters from last game home for tomorrows game do to injuries plus I believe they have some guys on IR. New England had 18 guys on their injury report today,8 DNP. Texans had 10 on injury report today. Both times we played the Texans their defensive backfield was way undermanned due to injury. That is the nature of the beast this time of the year in the NFL.

And by the way, Ebron never missed a game this year, Kelly I believe only missed a few plays, Leonard missed one game as did Desir I believe and YaSin is supposedly back this week after being out one game.

I certainly am not happy that we have injuries but I am not surprised or do I think we are an exception as I think most teams are in similar shape. When you said an extremely undermanned team you it sounded like we were an extremely undermanned team, not a team with a lot of injuries.

Playing with unexpected starters is the definition of being undermanned

          Desir missed multiple games

Good one! Most probably don’t remember, Kiel could punt too. And for good reason.

I remember him more through his nephew Gunner and the fact that my longtime college roommates were East Grads

Yeah him too. How about Gary Hogeboom lmao . We had some doozy's back in the day. Jack Trudeau too but at least with Jack we won the division in 1987. Thanks to Dickerson in reality.

But he is gone. We must move on.

serious question. If Brissett leads this extremely undermanned team to playoffs, will everyone accept him?

Do you think that will change what is left for the Colts?   I don't know, just seriously asking.  I've heard some analysts say he will drop to the end of the 1st round and others say he will drop to the 10-15 range.

    It might

It is way too early to tell

There is no major news right now but it will heat up soon. I have a feeling the Yankees will try to go after pitching. If they get another good starter, they will be really tough to beat in 2020. Yankees are a franchise that aren't used to going a whole decade without a WS title. Dodgers are jinxed until proven otherwise to me and Kershaw gets a little worse every season. I have feeling there window is almost shut. A great regular season team but they do not have the pitching to get it done in the post season it seems every year.

Blame the Dodger collapse on getting rid of Don Mattingly
