Stay Warm everyone

Yes, if you do have to step outside with these bitterly cold windchills cover all exposed skin especially your ears. I got frostbite there once & ever since then I'm very protective of my ears. Hey 100GFB, you gotta tell us the story now. Can you water it down? Any tale worthy of a warning point has got to be a fantastic story right? Please. Ask Nadine if a warning point can be transferred to someone else. SW1 will take the symbolic bullet for you on this one my friend. Ha! Ha...

Hint SW1 you said water it down! A soldier that served in Korea said it got cold and the rifle would freeze. You're in a hostile environment and the enemy is attacking. You've got to do what you got to do, warm water would do and the only warm water you've got is from one of you body function! Either you p** on your rifle or throw snow balls at the enemy! Your decision!

RIP Matt Luecking

Since I'm not from Indiana personally, I had to google Matt's name & learn more about him. It sounds like he was a beloved DJ & nice, community man. My condolences to his friends, family, & co-workers.
It really bothers me when good natured people perish in such a gruesome fashion like this. Justice must be served in this case as Jay Kirk so astutely said.
Was Mr. Lueking mainly a sports analyst or strictly a spin records, music guy? In any case, nobody deserves to leave this world in such a crude & vicious way.

I'm late to the party here PT, but happy belated B-Day my friend!
If you wanted cake, I hope you got it or if you wanted a quiet gathering of only your closest friends & family; I hope you received that which ever you prefer buddy.
Since SW1 tends to be music man enthusiast by nature, I will leave you with AC/DC cover by 1 of my favorite contemporary singers Lzzy Hale..."Fire! For those about to Rock, we sa-lute you" PrincetonTiger.
You're a good dude man.
Not every vocalist can pull off raspy signature sounds either, but Lzzy sure can.

I ran out of likes Jules. 4 thumbs up instead:
It's not that I hate Bruce or think he's devoid of talent, like you, I just will never get obsessed with every song in his catalog like some boss fanatics do.
Your flamingo was a nice touch. It made me chuckle. You're 1 of the best contributors on the forum too BTW with keen insights into sports, music, & Championship pedigree.

All I know is that the author of "Seabiscuit: An American Legend" published in 2001, Laura Hillenbrand, doesn't conjure up the image of your typical elder writer when discussing dry matters of historical significance. No history teacher I ever had looked like this. [usually, they are stern, cold, & nothing glamorous to talk about]...

I take it you experienced a power failure where you live & your electricity is up & running again PT. Nice. Although, it's a pain in the you know what having to reset all the clocks though.
Anyhow, I promise you will no longer be in the dark for awhile. Yeah, I'm going there straight to Pat Benatar. One of my all time favorite women in 80's rock. Timeless track that improves with age.
All kidding aside, I'm glad to hear you're okay PT. Your stuck in chair message confused me. I wasn't sure what it meant. Now, I get it.

Luckily our clocks are battery powered or reset with the power I did have trouble with the DVR
