  1. Agreed. In my eyes, Houston didn't "win" the game. The Colts handed the game to Houston on a silver platter. The one time the Colts blitzed they sacked Stroud for a loss. Maybe the Colts should consider bllitzing more than once per game. Occassionally the blitz does work.
  2. Well, he's good and probably the best the Colts have. But he's no superstar.
  3. I guess we see it sort of the same, just different wording by each of us. When I say there is a lot of parity, I mean that a lot of the teams are fairly equal. Of course there are some great ones that are on top and the ones at the bottom are incredibly bad.
  4. Well, I see it differently. Most of the NFL sucks. Lots of close to .500 teams. And lots of close games decided in the final minute or two or OT. To me that's parity. To each his own. All I know is I'm enjoying the wins and their play. Of course, some of their play does suck, but overall they're an improving tema. They're definitely doing better than a lot of people expected.
  5. Is the schedule really that easy? The reason I'm saying this is that there seems to be more and more parity in the NFL with a lot of teams close to the .500 level. Sure, the Colts aren't playing Dallas, SF, KC, Philly, but they are winning close games and they did beat Baltimore. Just my 2 cents worth.
  6. The Colts need to use their tight ends more. It's almost like the tight ends are never considered in the passing game. It's as if they don't exist.
  7. No I did not miss that. The Colts have historically been very predictable with their running game in the red zone, even in their good years. This has been going on a long time with this franchise.
  8. Here's what has always killed me about the Colts and their running backs. I noticed a lot that when they were in the red zone, they'd bring in a running back and he'd run the ball up the middle 2 or 3 plays in a row and get stopped. The element of surprise was always lacking. You knew that whoever came in was getting the ball. They need to be less predictable. Even when Taylor wasn't hurt and was playing, someone would come in for Taylor and sure enough the running back who came in would get the handoff. They have to be less predictable and more imaginative in their play calling. Mix it up a little bit and don't be so obvious.
  9. Not going anywhere, been a fan since around '65. I think most fans are pretty loyal to their favorite teams through the good years and the bad years.
  10. No * way. I'll just follow the games on my phone.
  11. Colts win at least 5 games.
  12. May as well make the best of it. The only way the team scores is on field goals anyway.
