  1. I still wish they at least tried that and ill die on this hill. They had nothing to lose by at least trying it out before paying him
  2. He ran a 4.43 40 yard at the combine, 4th fastest in combine history for qbs. Lamar didnt run though and might have been faster One of the four also converted to WR and didnt last in the league
  3. Times have changed though. The third probably won't do much these days. Two rb sets also used to be a lot more common. Dont see that much anymore
  4. He was pretty quiet there in 2021, i was surprised when they brought him back. He backed it up with a solid 2022 8 mil sounds high to me though
  5. The OP said AR was going to be terrible the minute we drafted him. Now they are using 12 snaps to self confirm that they were right all along and pat their self on the back Interesting take for one of the youngest and least experienced qbs ever drafted, we probably should give him more time than that though
  6. They are rebuilding around an experienced and young rookie. It didnt make sense to go all in this year. Doyel actually sounds mad that he has to cover the team this year. He really comes off as though he doesnt even like this job, its just what he was able to land. It could be a down year, with maybe the worst colts roster in a while. It wasnt the time to spend though
  7. I'd go with a team geared towards the kicking game Kicker Punter Long snapper Kick returner Punt returner Kick blocking specialist Gunner
  8. We are thin at CB but are there any upgrades out there we could sign?
  9. To me it feels like he doesnt actually like this team, its just the job he landed. we might be in for a down year, nobody wants to read his endless negativity though
  10. He hasnt done enough in 3 seasons to be acting like he is. Being hurt last year is a good reason to not pay him now I do give him credit, just not as much as he wants. Hes asking for too much
  11. He had one big year, then followed up with a down year. I doubt we could get more than a second for him now if even that.
  12. Had to look him up on Wikipedia, he quietly signed here last week. Has bounced around the league on practice squads playing some games here and there. Once intercepted Carson Wentz
  13. That could be true but its common for teams to hold off on extensions right after bringing in a new coach anyway.
  14. He asked for a raise and didnt get it. Now he has to go back to work or quit like literally anyone else would have to do. Hes making himself look bad by going to war with the team now, its not going to get him paid. Jim said stuff he shouldnt have too but hes the one with the leverage. He can be mad but going this public with it isnt working or helping anyone.
  15. Hes in a position where he should finish his rookie contract imo like most players. Its not like the colts have ran him into the ground over these three seasons. I am staring to wonder if all those carries at Wisconsin are effecting things and making him jump the gun.
  16. Its not like the colts have ran him into the ground. In three seasons he spent the first splitting carries, had one big year and then missed time last year Hes jumping the gun. There were some questioning if his college team ran him too hard, maybe thats becoming an issue(at least to him)
  17. I get that hes mad, but thats not going to change the world. If his goal was a trade he should have done this before the draft. This isnt the time for that
  18. None of these are good examples of paying players early working out well for the team in the long run.
  19. RBs just are not worth what hes asking. We have not won a playoff game since hes been here and he wants too much of the cap. Theres your economics. 16 per year to a RB would hurt the team if you go by recent analytics
  20. Dont act like fans shouldn't comment when the teams best player is requesting a trade over ridiculous contract demands. He is signed for another year and needs to do more to earn more money. He isnt due for a contract now He wants the bag after one great season two years ago. Not happening
  21. If he cant get by on the 4.3 million hes making this year then i have zero sympathy for him. Thats like 3 lifetimes worth of income to the average person, just for this season alone He just mad that other positions make more
  22. Yeah the 16 mil is excessive. Thats buying Bugatti's and popping champagne money, not taking care of a family lol
  23. Probably not a huge difference if they are low key and buy things for good reasons. The 16 might let them start blowing money on stuff for the hell of it though
  24. I dont see a big rush to start him. Does he know protections, routes and how to change plays? Can he run an nfl offense?
