Just a friendly reminder to everybody who will be singing Ballards praises after tonight and tomorrow. He’s been here 9 years and hasn’t won a crap division once.
We should all live in negativity all the time tbh

I'd be willing to draft a CB pretty high. #1 overall might be a stretch but I could do third or so.
If it were Deion sanders and I needed a corner I'd be ok with first. Of course he played offense and sp teams too

Said he's hearing "we need speed, we need speed" from the Colts
Weird comment when we have one of the fastest QBs and maybe the fastest RB in the league.
We dont seem to have a 4.3 WR on the team but Pierce and Downs are probably low 4.4

Sean McVay started out as an analyst
He's been asked and said hes never touched Madden. I dont think i can buy that someone will credit Madden as any significant reason for landing a head coaching job. Not something a billionaire would bring up in an interview.

Billionaire owners get on social media and pay attention to trends more than you think.
Madden players on rare occasions get hired to help work on Madden itself. They dont get hired onto teams and if they did it would be low level. I play Madden myself, enough to know that it doesnt teach you how to actually be a coach. Not even close.
If a madden expert ever made it that far in the league it wouldnt be because they played madden.

This is a joke lol. Former college players are not the same as madden players
Madden will have nothing to do with anyone ever becoming an nfl head coach. There might be some who have played it but it will never be why they got a job

They will give him on opportunity to work his way up because of the qualification of being a famous top Madden player.
They would be lucky to get any job at all in an nfl office. They will never make head coach, ever
Madden doesnt have that kind of influence with billionaire owners, nor should it.

It's a bold prediction.
Its straight up naive. No one is giving a madden player millions of$ to lead rosters of 50+ people plus the rest of the staff.
You cant prove you can do that on madden and HC and GM are too big for that kind of risk. No one will do it.

Within 10 years, there will be a youtube personality or Madden player that will end up being a HC or GM in the NFL.
They wont have enough experience dealing with players and coaches in person to land the job.
No way dude. They would be very lucky to get any job in a teams office, it wouldnt be HC or GM. You cant madden your way to head coach, you have to prove you can work with people in person

The more I think about it, he fits what is a bust lol.
Hes not that at all.
If you are wanting to replace him with a top tier edge rusher then who is that in this draft class?

Paye never developed
Thats not true, he did have a good year. You are saying its top tier elite edge rusher or bust
I dont even see that in this whole class

So you would take Bowers over the top corner and/or edge or do you mean if they were equal value?
Yeah probably. Im not that crazy about any edge

This is really simple for the Colts. If Bowers or one of the top 3 WR is still on the board, you pick one of them.
If not then best DB or Edge.
They wont go by that. All of the above will be ranked on list together and it wont necessarily be by position

The reason I dont like going with a Defensive end this year is I dont see a big upgrade over what we have.

Giving up 2 1st round picks would suck but for Marvin I would do it and Pierce would help the deal because Pierce has potential and isn't bad.
I would do that in a heart beat and not worry about Pierce tbh. Hes alright but you can find guys like him every year. It would be funny to see Reggie waynes reaction to this, hes always been in APs corner but you know he would be pumped if we got Marvin. That would be a dream come true for him

Its not but there was a bunch of trolling on the internet yesterday over this. I guess people were pretty tame here

I work from home and have too much time to look at social media. This has generated a lot of interesting comments to say the least. Some sites like reddit are deleting the threads
He played before my time, I believe he was a great rusher who couldnt catch or run routes. Still in the hof

Theres a ton of trolling on FB and twitter over this. Do you think he did it?
If the forum had a big conversation about that I doubt it would go well

Its big news but we cant say much here. Looks like the nfl reddit page doesnt want to touch this

Then you hoist the blue ribbon with some crappy first place time, kind of gloating because you won.....but everybody else is snickering. LOL
I would take that as a win and not worry about what happened to the other guy.. Stuff like that happens in sports where the best teams get hurt or knocked out early. It would be boring and kind of pointless to watch if you knew the best roster would always win

There could be so many WRs already taken that its not worth it to us. I hope thats not the case but if we can get the best corner in the draft vs the 5th WR we might have to go defense

The Texans could have moved up too
My comment as actually more directed at Tua and Herbert because I personally liked them better. It would have been a risk to trade up but we could have done it. Houston didnt want to trade up either, they wanted to pick someone at 2 and then trade for Will Anderson.
If you just sit and wait for a great qb to fall to you in the draft it may never happen before the regime is fired. Ballard could be in that position soon

neither did the Texans…
We didnt need anything from them to make a deal. A team moved up to number one in that draft and we were in better position than them to do it.

Colts have the 15th pick in the draft. (MERGE)

If they wont be at least second we wont take them with that pick. There are a few in the class that could be better than Pittman but they may not last to 15
