  2. I voted move up, only because I think that there is a good possibility that Tua is going to be cleared.  And if Burrow pulls an Eli . (which I dont think he will) there would be 2 QB's that would be available in Tua/Burrows . or Herbert.

The 4 teams that are ahead of Miami, only one needs a QB and the others are NFC teams so I like the idea of trading to NFC teams a lot more than adding draft picks to AFC side.

I 'm hoping Ballard makes the trade earlier than later and if for some reason the guy they want falls he might get an even better trade out to trade back again.

I just listened to Loves entire presser. He was really impressive. Submerges himself in football and has a ton of confidence. Yet he is humble enough to talk about what he needs to improve. He said breaking down his interceptions for teams was easy because he had already watched them a bunch of times. All the combine interviews are up on nfl.com.

Eason couldn’t even really come up with anything he needs to improve on.  Wasn’t as impressed with him. I do think the poor work ethic rumor against him seems to be false from how he talked.

Still need to listen to Fromm and Herbert.

I'd guess you have it playing on a loop over and over and over and over.

tons of teams need a Qb . steelers pats , saints and a lot more .  When drafting a QB they get taken ahead of where they should all the time when you believe you found a QB that is a franchise guy you have to take that risk , the reward is way to high to pass it up.

if the colts do not take love and some other team does and he plays well and becomes elite trust me you will feel sick to your stomach watching jacoby struggle .

And if he RG111's ? Or Jamarcus Russel's?    I think there are better options for the TEAM . Maybe not if you want to go all in on QB and cross your fingers

Just about very mainstream football show or news site has 3 QBs being taken in the top 10, and 4-5 taken in the 1st.

    Do tell? Done told...

By the way, many said KC was reaching for Mahomes who they saw as a system QB. Many said Baltimore was reaching for Jackson even though he was late 1st round. QBs taken very high (even highest) bust all the time. Like I said earlier, 42% of all QBs taken in the 1st have a PB year, and 40% are bust. Many "no-brainers" bust. Many "reaches" prove good.

so you can ask that Pallo share "all" articles?  But you give that blanket statement?  And say done?   HAHA not a chance

    Most QB's taken in round 1 is 5 one time .  and 4 QB's in the 1st round 4 times since 2000.

If 4 QB's are taken in the first round then there are teams reaching for them.  There are 3 1st round talents IMO .  1 Tua 2 Burrow and 3 Herbert.   I think Tua is far above the others.

So one ESPN guy's opinion? lol...

The post said 2019 was better (look at 2019's class and their impact last year lol). 2018 may very well be better, but I'm betting they are using a lot of hindsight instead of reflecting back on how they viewed 2018 at the time. I'll remind you that they are likely placing great emphasis on Jackson's performance last season, when in fact he went in the late round, and most projected him a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Out of the 4 top 10 picks, none are performing in the top half of the league, and one isn't even playing.

Please share "all" the articles. I think you're projecting your opinion. I've read a ton on this class. While it may not be seen as great (like WRs and CBs this year), it's not seen as poor either. If it were so poor, why are all the experts projecting more QBs taken in the first round than 4 out of the last 5 years? Especially with the abundance of FAs available. But go ahead and continue to defy simple math and basics of projected demand.

    Experts?  Oh do tell

I promise you if Luck were still our QB this board would be talking about how crazy some of these QB needy teams will be reaching for any of these QB's other than Burrows or Tua.   And all the talk would be about WR's and defense.

Exactly..... Derrick Brown and Javon Kinlaw are not only penetrators and game-wreckers.... they are "tone setters" in the interior that would bring added value to our back seven guys.

Under a scenario where the Lions and Giants don't select Brown or Kinlaw.... and given the likelihood that Miami (Tua) and the Chargers (I'm predicting Love here) select QBs..... one or both of these DTs should be available at #8 where the Cardinals pick just ahead of Jacksonville.

If only one of those guys is available at #8.... I would absolutely pitch a deal to AZ of our #13 and #75 pick.... and a flip-flop of our #34 for their #40 in Round 2.

That would be an equitable swap and basically we're giving up a 3rd rounder and five spots in Round 2 to move up for Brown or Kinlaw.

If BOTH are available at #8? I almost guarantee that the Jags will take one of them.... and we'll be sweating out the next 3 selections.

I respect and totally get the QB-centric crowd sentiment in this discussion.... we've not been in QB purgatory like this in 20 years.

And if Jordan Love IS the next Patrick Mahomes 2-3 years from now.... whether we select him or not... I'll gladly take my lumps for doubting him.

At the same time.... remember that the closest thing we've had to a dominant DT in a full 28 years is Steve Emtman.... and his career was short-lived as he wound up maimed in both knees and out of football.

And let's also remember that lacking that disruptive force on the interior DL costed us come playoff time.... and that was WITH Peyton Manning at QB....and Marvin...and Reggie....and Edge.

All that HALL OF FAME juice on offense and we won 1 Lombardi.

This tells me that we shouldn't just reject out of hand the idea for moving up for a "best in breed" game-changer such as Brown or Kinlaw. Not to be reckless about it or to overpay....but we shouldn't just rule it out because of this overblown "positional value" line of thinking. JMO

    -High-level accuracy

    -The ability to process things

    -Strong leadership capabilities

-Some play making with their legs

    was the summarization.

    Enjoy!!! :)

I wouldn't mind going for Tua or Herbert in a move up because Tua marks all 4 boxes, while Herbert marks 3 out of 4 to me.

On a side note, I am very much intrigued by Tanner Morgan of Minnesota and want to see how well he does in 2020, he is growing on me with his accuracy, he was ranked 7th in all of FBS behind only Burrow, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Ohio State’s Justin Fields, Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts, Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Oregon’s Justin Herbert.

Add in Jamie Newman who transferred to GA
