Looks like they had to make the shoe a bit smaller/rounder since all of the vents on that helmet would really mess up the horseshoe.   I like the new shoe on that helmet.

It looks like the shoe actually matches the Colts logo this time. I didn't realize the old horseshoe on the helmet was different until yall pointed it out.

We had just started an Academy at our local district, I had taught 1 class before this all went down. Now we are doing it all online through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc. Practicals are going to be interesting to say the least! I was also supposed to take a class at the Maryland National Fire Academy this month that got cancelled, totally bummed about it too but understand.

OH NO!!! That sucks about your class being canceled I'm sorry!!

As for you instructing, I bet your recruits are happy to still be able to work with you on some capacity. The internet has made this easier to do and finding ways to interact and keeping morale high seems to be helpful. We have about 14 weeks of practical training before graduation so I'm not sure how thats gonna go either :/.

Awesome!!!! I miss going through the Fire Academy, feels like just yesterday! Now I teach at it, lol. FDIC is a great time, firefighter heaven, bummed they had to cancel it this year. Indianapolis is going to lose millions of dollars thanks to this stupid disease. Good Luck, be the hardest worker there, and never stop training. I’m sure your pops is proud of you!

That's amazing!!! Hopefully I can meet you some time at FDIC! If I can get through this damn study at home stuff we are doing. Lucky they didn't cancel the class though. Are you teaching an academy currently or were you lucky to miss this craziness???

  4. I've watched since the early 2000's when I was a little girl. My father is a Fire Chief and would go to FDIC every year and bring back colts swag because I like horses. Finally saw them on the tv and made my dad watch with me. Now we are both INDY fans, and I'm in the process of going through a Fire Academy to follow my dads footsteps.

For me the Colts and firefighting have always been interlinked because of it, and I'm incredible grateful for both.

That’s how I feel as well. Kinlaw is going to be awesome.

     Thirding this.

I LOVE love don't get me wrong. I've beat his drum here before. That being said Kinlaw with the 13th and Anthony Gordon in a later round doesn't make me mad at all. I was impressed with his performance and now digging into his 2019 season I like it.

  6. I keep trying to remind myself that Brissett was a backup that was put in a situation to have to fill Andrew Lucks shoes for an entire season and going forward, not just for another injury. I don't mean that as an excuse for how hes playing, but sometimes I find myself getting super upset at him for not being able to take the leap and be a true starter. When in reality I'm upset at the fact that there are people willing to talk themselves into us crowing him as the replacement instead of a bridge.

  7. My initial reaction was: Awesome, he just got cheaper.

Real talk though, I completely understand the worries about decision making on his behalf that some of you are saying. It's not a good move when you've got all eyes on you and need to step up.

That being said, personally speaking, I could care less about usage of weed, legal or not. Coming from a family of alcoholics and being a certified emt I'm more concerned about LEGAL consumption of booze and its effects.

I liked the kid going to us but I was on the fence about spending a first rounder on him. This might have him fall into a more comfortable risk vs. reward range.

  8. I was going to write out a ridiculous conspiracy theory that Reich doesn't like Chad Kelly since he was the backup to Chad's uncle Jim Kelly with the bills but then I realized how absolutely click baity and dumb that statement is lol.

Wasn't his best game, but he still made plenty of incredible throws.

Since you love traditional stats, let's play a game.

Hypothetically, a rookie NFL QB posts the following stats for the season: 26 TDs, 28 INTs, 56.7% completion percentage.

After that performance, would you start looking for a replacement?

I don't think you can teach this guy anything, but I certainly appreciate all the info!
