I like the Jets to take a big step this coming year honestly, especially if they get Jeudy or Lamb in the 1st. Darnold is still younger than Joe Burrow lol, and he's been in the NFL for 2 whole seasons, the kid is gonna be great when his #1 WR isn't Robby Anderson or Quincy Enunwa. They get Chris Herndon back at TE, add a WR or 2 via the draft, and they have a top half D as is, look out.

We need a lot to run with the version of KC that won the SB, and that 49ers team blows em out too, probably worse than KC based on key positional advantages.
Gotta pray we nail at least 3 (half) of QB, WR, TE, DB, DT, DE in the draft and FA, which means we have a decent chance with the additional draft selection at 34 and the surplus of cap $.

Who knows? I'm sure everyone had the 49ers penciled in for the SB at this time last year. The parity in the NFL in unrivaled.

The 49ers would've been on a lot of Top 5 lists last year and they made the SB, so who knows.
The Bengals get Burrow, and their line returns healthy (a lot of draft cap spent there) they could make some noise. They have a solid young nucleus on offense without Burrow...Boyd, Auden Tate, Mixon, and they should be able to resign AJG for pennies.

You've gotta get all the way up to 4th to get him, and even then you wouldn't be able to outbid Miami if it came to that. Extremely unlikely, imo.

Rivers had a really bad year, and isn't an upgrade on JB at this point in time. They already gave JB an inflated contract, no real need to dump more cap space into another bridge-gap contract. Either A) Take the best QB available at 13, likely Herbert or Love or B) Draft as many pieces as you can for an eventual run when we do land our guy in 2021. It looks like there will be at least 3 high end guys available in Lawrence, Fields, and now Purdy, and with JB at the helm we should likely pick Top 10 again. Go big or go homeless, right?

Idk if he declares or not, but Chuba Hubbard is gonna be legit. Can't believe there's like 5-6 RB's that are all elite-ish, cuz unless you wanna count Jacobs, Monty, and Sanders, there wasn't much there in 2019, as far as RB's go. We have Swift, Taylor, Etienne, Dobbins, Akers, Chuba, and that's probably all I'd put in the elite tier, with Najee Harris and Zach Moss both being right there. Eno Benjamin kinda fell off this year, but he will still be a Nyheim Hines type player, imo.

Fairly easy to forget, being that he didn't have a DK Metcalf or AJ Brown type rookie year. Hopefully he stays healthy next year, cuz the dude is a legitimate weapon.

Yes. His Sophomore film is more indicative of who he is as a quarterback, that team got gutted from last season to this one. All kinds of turnover, from the coaches down to the water cooler guys. People say Mahomes, and I guess there's always a chance, but I believe it to be a really small one. The comp I'd use is Carson Wentz, I think they share a ton of similarities.

Not even close. Kinlaw is a stud, future Pro Bowl type dude. I'm not high on Gallimore at all, I think it will end up being like Jachai Polite from last year. People will start to see how fraudulent he is once AA games and combines are over.

Don't like that mock, at all.
Not necessarily opposed to Herbert at 13, but Gallimore is a one dimensional project that's insanely athletic, I'd go WR there, there's gonna be a ton of WR value on Day 2.
AGG is an incredibly good WR, after the combine his stock is gonna take off. I'd imagine he ends up an early Day 3 pick if I had to guess. This draft is so stacked at the skill positions, if you're in need of a WR or RB you're set.

In the past a few of the people on the team I was on would each do a mock draft and input $25 each in the pot.
Whoever got the most right players to the right team would get the pot
It was amazing how few we picked correctly ...... but the people that get PAID to do... also are MOSTLY WRONG!!!
After embarassing myself on the 2019 draft predictions, I may be lesss specific this year
My prediction for round ONE...... drum roll..... The Colts will take a PLAYER

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go Derrick Brown with the pick at 13, he's largely viewed as a Top 10 talent. He will most likely get pushed down because of the teams at tops continual suckage in the draft.

That's interesting, cuz of the QBs currently in the league he's like my 4th option. I'd rather have Stafford, Carr, and Cam over him (in that order). Assuming he does come here, it's for a year, two at the most, that essentially puts us -when he retires- where we are now, again. With no quarterback.

Can't argue with that, KC and BAL are the class of the division.
I feel like we're a good/great quarterback away from being in that boat. The team should be drastically improved heading into next season with just the 3 selections inside the Top 45, but we obviously have more picks and a good amount of cap space.

You said people are just parroting talking points about his injury history, and that's not true. He's had several injuries that have caused him to miss time in the last two years, and that's a concern for any player going to the NFL. Especially a QB.
I'm not discrediting him, nor am I writing him off. Just accepting that his injury history is a concern, especially after the hip.
He's supposed to be healthy a few weeks before combines and pro days, so we will get to see. Assuming he declares, of course.

My point is that there were going to be medical concerns about Tua before the hip injury. Add in the hip injury, those concerns are greatly magnified.
Because it's football, and that's what happens? That's the only thing that's relevant in this conversation. Guys get hurt, you can't discredit a high end talent because he got hurt, they essentially all do. Have you looked at why he got hurt? He shouldn't have been playing on the ankle, and had they not forced him back into action, he'd likely be fine atm.

I like the idea of getting either of those QBs, and we'll be competitive for winning the division or a wild card, but the defense isn't good enough to get deep into the playoffs yet.
Which is why we draft BPA to improve that, and spend a few dollars in FA. They're really young, a lot of prospective talent, there were a ton of injuries.

I'm actually a huge fan of getting either Carr or Stafford, both are proven playmakers. This team is built to win now, with Andrew we would have been a SB contender. I say get one of those guys at QB and draft BPA to build around them.

If they were serious about tanking, or going into a full rebuild, they'd move Keenan Allen. He's going on 28, at the tail end of the age apex for WR's, he doesn't have 2 years for them to get things together. When WR's fall off it's generally really quick, there's very few Larry Fitzgerald's. If I had to guess, I'd say they bring in Brady and go for a ring or two. They already have a stout defense, and the 6th overall pick is a bonafide stud on either side of the ball. They aren't far off.
