I thought Flowers tore his Achilles week 2. It was actually week 5 which probably means he won’t be returning until Oct or Nov.

They need a FS more than a SS. Adding a vet at FS I think in an justify letting cross start at SS.

I will admit I was wrong and glad it worked out. Usually though we can see the writing on the wall. Until the secondary is fixed the dline will continue as average.

I don’t think any of these safeties and corners left are going to sign until after the draft. They think they will get more money when s team needs to fill a hole after the draft. Believe it or not the offseason program starts I believe the week after the draft.

This offense is going to be explosive with AR back. That part I am not worried about although it would bf nice to add an elite weapon at 15.

Dayo said it took a year of playing to feel like himself and get that explosion back.

We can’t pay both. We already have to many dollars wrapped up. Dayo is ready to take over. We already have too much money wrapped up in DT.

Colts can’t really extend Buckner with Dayo a FA after the season. I said it before I expect Dayo to get extended after the season and Buckner to be gone.

As long as they have good insurance for Brent’s I am fine. That’s why I don’t even need an elite CB. Just one that can at least upgrade the depth instead of relying on what we have. Insurance is what I am mainly looking for. Flowers injured his Achilles in game two. So I doubt he is ready by Sept. if he is he won’t have his explosion back.

I can see it now. Colts go edge at 15. End of season everyone whining Ballard can’t draft edge because the real problem is the secondary.

Who you cutting if we add an edge. Adding more edge won’t matter if secondary can’t cover.

I don’t think AR is going to bust. This offense is going to be good. Sure it could add one more weapon but if this team takes a step back it will be entirely on the secondary. Offense is actually finally in great shape. Haven’t been able to say that in a long time.

Still doesn’t solve the FS issue or the vet CB thst is needed. Basically Blackmon is running it back with the same guys. It needs to be added to.

Trying and failing means you actual sign someone and take a risk not the excuse I tried to sign someone.

It’s going to be hillarious when the WR or bowers we pass on are elite year one while colts have a struggling corner.

Then he deserve to be fired when it fails. He said it was his fault that he didn’t give Bradley enough. We don’t even have room for another dline man. If the secondary can’t cover the dline can’t have success.
