When your defense is one of the worst in giving up passing yards we can get better. Ballard deserves what he gets it’s he thinks it’s good enough. Why is everyone scared to get elite and ok with an average. If they change DC everything is going to have to be reevaluated on defense.

Linebacker play was so bad yesterday. Those screens aren’t as affective with bad line backer play. Oline wasn’t great either. Steichen needs to be more creative in the run game. He also came out throwing at the beginning and didn’t try to establish the run early.

Good thing is we don’t play teams rest of the way with that type of experience. Steelers have made it to playoffs but really no success last few years.

I am ok as a depth piece. I was mainly talking about these guys should not be relied on as starters. But we have to get better. Seems fans are always scared to move on from average to get great.

Bengals are an experienced playoff team. Despite not having burrow. Colts have to learn to win playoff type games. They don’t have that experience. Yesterdays result was not that shocking.

I would like to see his numbers when he is facing a very good to above average edge rusher. Hendrickson is not elite but in the above average category. I wonder if because they gave Freeland extra help and couldn’t help Rainmann side.

The most important thing is they need their 4th round pick back next year healthy and playing all season.

Again we played poor teams during this 4 game win streak. My guess is it was just a bad game because the entire team broke down but still needs evaluated.

With this team truly evaluating things this year it will be interesting who they decide should be a part of this team next year and who shouldn’t. What they can’t do is be ok with average and say oh that guy played ok. No go get better. They need a FS. They need a backup to Grover if he is extended. They need a CB whether that’s a vet or high in the draft I don’t know. Maybe both Wont hurt to add a WR. Alsi need to evaluate Rainmann and ask is he the future Lt. He needs a strong finish.

The same issues were there today that were there all year. Colts just couldn’t cover them up today with blocked punts or something crazy happening.

Going to be watching Rainmann close rest of year. Still a couple good pass rushers coming up. Colts might have to think about a first round tackle if this was not a outlier.

Water must of the time finds its level when your relying on late round picks. It’s halppened with Thomas this year. He looks bad. These late round picks should be your backups and don’t be scared of improving. You need two stud CB in this league and it’s a premium position. We have stroud and Lawrence in this division. What we have now is not good enough.

You still don’t put all your chips in on a 7th round CB when you can actually maybe get a legitimate vet in Fa or a high one in the draft. Ballard should be trying to get better not settle and say we are good enough. If jones is your backup you’re in good shape. Don’t be scared of finding better and improving. Imagine what Gilmore would look like on this team. He was a stud for Dallas tonight. We can get better.
